What's going to happen with my battle, continuity-wise? No matter who wins, it'd be pretty weird to explain why the battle just suddenly, stopped.
A dream wouldn't work, because then technically the character would have missed the first round of the tourny, and would have been thrown into the second one.

I think I'll keep the tourney canon for Akira, if thats ok with peoples. She has a sad few number of RP's she's been in, her life is completely random so this fits, and she needs to get out more =P
