The Third Battle Arena Tournament: Round Three (Kick Some Ass!)

Finally, we have the correct amount of people. Congrates to everyone, but only nine could move on. The Third Round, as always, consists of three three-way battles, with one winner from each moving on to the Semifinals!

As per usual, we have the rules:

• You may only use one character per battle. A new character may be chosen for each new round. If, however, two or more of your characters are so heavily linked that they cannot fight or survive without the other, you may use them together.
  
• The tournament round will end in two weeks. This is simply a warning, as we've really never enforced this rule before. Be careful, though. There's a first time for everything.
  
• Lastly, winning your battle does not necessarily increase your chances of moving on. The actual outcome of the battle is rather irrelevant. Judges will be looking for skill, creativity, and good sportsmanship.

Obviously, the first and last posters have an advantage in the actual battle. One decides the setting while the other may use strategy when picking their character. Don't expect, however, that this will alter your chances of moving on.

Whoever is picking rounds sucks. I've wound up facing Sakume twice in the last two tournaments in round three. >_> I'm mad now. Whatever, so, Sakume and Librarian, who're you two using?

Yep, doubting I'll move on this time. Anyway, can Power Shot or Kitsune start the thread? I'm just going to post whenever a thread is made for us.

And what's wrong with facing me twice? Gives you a chance to get your vengence like I know you can, Zorry. I'm using someone that I haven't decided on yet. I'll find out when I find out.

Eep, what a trio! :O Well now, HH and Andurhil, do either of you have your heart set on starting? Because if not, I can most likely have an intro up by Thursday.

Thank you very much. You had me very worried, but I never lost my confidence. Though I won, you put up a good effort, and I respect that. It was an honor to write alongside you, one of the BA's veterans. I hope to do so again soon.

I used Shisho the last round, so I should probably use Kawaii this time. However, I might change my mind. All the same, watch out Zorolo, Sakume, because I'm coming for you. I've gotten this far, and I don't intend to lose now.

Thirdly:

Don't leave Lady Knives out of the congratulations. Everyone who participated did their best, and they should be praised for that. Knives and everyone else who did not move on compted honorably, and that's all that matters.

Congrats to all, the people who moved on to this round and the people who didn't.

At the same time, I wondered if I'll make it this far in a future tournament.

Never say that. I never make it past this round, so don't think it's over quite yet.

Until this tournament, I had never made it past round one. This shows how little statistics mean.
