Tournament - Round 1 - Four for alls

Alright. So, new tournament and what not. We were unlucky enough to get stuck with 39 entrants. That's a terrible number for tournaments. As a result, we're gonna have to do things a little differently.

The first round will be nine four-for-alls and one three-for-all. From each battle, there will be two competitors moving on. That does not change for the three-for-all.

As per usual, we have the rules:

• You may only use one character per battle. A new character may be chosen for each new round. If, however, two or more of your characters are so heavily linked that they cannot fight or survive without the other, you may use them together.
  
• The tournament round will end in two weeks. This is simply a warning, as we've really never enforced this rule before. Be careful, though. There's a first time for everything.
  
• Lastly, winning your battle does not necessarily increase your chances of moving on. The actual outcome of the battle is rather irrelevant. Judges will be looking for skill, creativity, and good sportsmanship.

Obviously, the first and last posters have an advantage in the actual battle. One decides the setting while the other may use strategy when picking their character. Don't expect, however, that this will alter your chances of moving on.

Procastination has no place in tournaments. It does, however, have a place everywhere else.

I've got relatives coming over in a half hour and vacation until Monday. Then I will.

How does one go about joining these tournaments anyway? I haven't heard much about them.

Do you want to start the thread? Or shall I? Or...shall we wait for somebody else to start it? I don't have a preference, either way. ^_^

I have half my post ready. I think Zorolo has the most chance of going through, but between the other three of us, I think it could be any of us.

EDIT: A thought just struck me. Does everyone have to post before one could post a second time? What if someone went inactive and didn't post? Would be all be stuck with our first post to judge?
