The Second Battle Arena Tournament- Round Two!

That's because I changed my name just before the tournament. It's hard to go around here without someone knowing me personally or having spoken to me in one way or another before.

EDIT: Jolly... haha! I'm the most depressed guy you'll ever meet. Although I'll take it as a compliment that I'm a comrade-type. ^__^

I didn't know you and I've been really active around here for a while.

I've been friends with almost every notable BA'er for a while now. Even many council members.

I was even part of a join fic involving Wielder of the Sword, Safer, Bloodsword, Shrub, Shade, and a few others.

You know knowing people and being active in battles and stuff are two different things. I only know Shades name because I saw it once in the character creation thread thing. I only know Bloodsword name because it's at the bottom of the page. I only remember shrub because she has a thread in the Dome. So you see those people aren't active be there name can be found easy still.

Your wasn't active in battles your anything else so you didn't come up as a known name.

A joint fic isn't a battle. It's when friends get together to write something as respecable fellow artists. I've spoken personally many times to each and every one of them, and I must say that NOWadays I have 5 times as many personal contacts here as I did then.

Simply because you did not know me does not mean other people didn't.

Calm down and read. I didn't say you didn't know people or people didn't know you. I said you was active enough for me to notice you. There a different between knowing people and being active enough for people to notice you. So get over the I know a lot of people and had a fic with great writers thing. I don't care about that to tell the truth. I'm pointing out you didn't hit the noticeable people for me. That's all. Not other people. Just me.

I understand. I admit I wasn't active. I actually took a three-month break from ZU altogether right before I came back. It just so happened that I made my name change right then, and it was almost like I was a completely new member.

I wasn't referring to what you just said when I said it doesn't matter if you knew me or not, I was referring to when you said "Your just not known enough to be a rival around here." That seems to be speaking for more than one person than just you.

Oh I just meant your writing skills are just not as known and big as lets say LEA. You see where I'm coming from there now?

Yeah. I see. Maybe if you have nothing to do sometime you should read my battle with her. I've been told by some my posts are better, by some that they are dead equal, and a few that hers are better.

I know you've already explained you don't read others' much, but I think you may enjoy it. It's a good battle.

Wait a second...if LEA's posting again, well, by the time she's done, Vane won't have enough time to post a third time in the tournament, which is really unfair. Because their battle is going to be REALLY close without LEA's extra post.

It's alright. It's all about having fun.

If the writing is equal, then the battle is equal. It doesn't matter that she may have written more.
