Vane should speak for himself then. I can't look up to someones writing if I never seen it. I can only good by what others say.

It would seem many of you are too immature to even stick to the topic at hand when arguing against me. In what world do you think flaming is constructive to any topic?

I find it extremely funny that Dragon has said he agreed with me, and then says something like that behind my back.

Once again, what I said =/= whining or complaining
what I said = pointing out what A LOT of people feel, but no one is saying

that the BA council is biased.

We actually GOT somewhere when Nikuvillian agreed that a big factor in grading is the amount of time you've been on this site, and how well known your character is, this takes away from what the grading SHOULD be about, one's skill as a writer.

But for every step forward we take in this group, evidently we must take five steps back, because so many are here for the sake of their own egos and try to sound witty and berate and step on others in the process.

If we could find away to remove a good majority of these kind of people that think that blight makes right, this place would be much more pleasant. This is so counterproductive it actually hurts my brain with a few exceptions, to talk with you people.

Please stop being immature, and let's actually have a decent conversation. Alternatively stay out of this conversation, and let the grownups talk.

Fate is cruel... Well, I finally get to battle my new Master, so Master, let's rock this up. Only question now is: Who starts it?

Now I'm excited, I haven't felt my ambition flowing like this in quite a while, well, at least I'll know I got beat by one of the best there is.

No offense, Quick_Silver, but stop your whining. The BA Council is not biased, and is not picking people because they are well known like their characters. These people and their characters are only well known because they are good writers, and deserve to move on through the tournament more than others.

Some of the poeple who didn't pass on are well known, but maybe aren't as good as some of the not-so-well-known people around here.

So stop this pointless topic about the BA Council who, in my oppinion, are absolutley not, under any circumstances, biased in any way, shape or form.

wo, woo, wo, wait and mintue here. I never have agreed to anything you've said. Someone needs to learn how to read again or something. I NEVER AGREED WITH YOU. I think this is clear now.

What I said is that it DOESN"T matter how long you've been here. And in two cases I've showed this. Well Vane pointed out the second one, but that other story. The judging as Zanza has said was hard with your group. I'm guessing that the choice came down that you wasn't as creative as the other two. So listen it's wasn't that you didn't write well it's that you wasn't better then the other two. You three must have been on the same level so they then judged who was more creative. In this section you must have failed and lost.

Now who's in the wrong? Just become one people doesn't want to act mature doesn't mean you should take a shot at them. Remember you're the one saying to act mature so you should then act immature yourself.

Could you please provide me with evidence for all those who feel this way? As far as I'm concerned, you are the only one who is expressing this opinion. If others felt as strongly as you do, they would make their opinions known. We are an open community. I think the majority of the BA would stand by me in saying that the Council is very approachable and open to conversation.

And as for being grownups, please don't insult me or the Council like that. As a college student myself, I would consider myself an adult, and a very capable one. Don't insult members of this community just because they differ from you on this issue. Being an adult has almost nothing to do with it, and your disdainful criticisms do not reflect to me a mature attitude. You'll notice than many of those who are attacking your views lost their battles as well. The point of the BA and this tournament is to have fun and you're ruining it by being a sore loser. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: this tournament is not based primarily on strict writing ability or length. Creativity is weighted more than technical writing. And again, I'll reiterate, I personally took a LONG time on YOUR battle because ALL four of you did a superb job. You are right, you are not a bad writer. The tournament is not meant to be a contest to see who is a better writer necessarily. It is about having friendly competition between BAers, creating community as a BA, and exercising one's God-given talents in the areas of creative writing.

I'll thank you to remember that, and stop attacking this establishment. If you can't lose graciously, I may have to ask you to leave.

If you really think the judging was biased, I can take a look at the thread and give you my honest opinion. I promise I'll do it with unbiased eyes.

That's not to say, however, that the judging was biased. I trust that our three judges did their jobs as they were supposed to. I just want to know what all the fuss is about.

He just thinks that the only reason that he lost was because he wasn't he for a long time like the others. Because everyone that moved on for the most part has been here longer then him. He just feels that since he went to college and took writing that he better then a seven grader. I believe at least when it comes to Zanza I don't know who the other judges are that it was fair.

You start it, Z. I want to see you do whatever you can to be on top this round.
