A person doesn't have to be particularly skilled to write. While there certainly is more depth in a more "mature" writer, that doesn't mean that a "noob" has nothing to offer. And good luck trying to get an "elder" to consistantly write in a thread...

Hahaha, I really think I would. I'm on a lot, I'm a fast, yet observing reader, I'm good at noticing little mistakes and errors even when I read fast, and I have the time to do this. And this is while I'm a college student. So I have a life AND the time.

They're not stopping you from having fun. Create your own damn threads.

Hahahha, that's why most of the approvers accepted the responsibility. They thought the same thing.

I would like to state I entirely agree with Admiral Black.

Navi: It isn't newbies I dislike. It's noobs. A newb and a noob are two different things. A newb is just someone who is new. A noob is a new person who is stupid and continuously makes bad and stupid posts. Basically, a newb can be cool and intelligent, a noob can't.

Also, do you just make up this stuff on the spot? Is it a madlib generator?

Dude, if you're having issues with threads, you should PM or VM someone who you think would be fun to RP with. I've never had issues with threads specifically adressed to certain members.

This all seems awesome in theory, but nearly everything about these ideas will flop. Although I also agree that character approval should be more strict than it is, I don't think these are good plans.

Again, no. The idea of forcing someone into the dome just doesn't sit right with me. I personally don't see it ever happening.

Yeah, and the moment these rule breakers are busted they're just going to leave. Why not just say that all bad writers can't write and all good writers can? Haha, this makes no sense at all, you know that.

Here's an example of why:
"Why, I had just posted in an thread that I was expected too because it was my turn to use my character to further the story."

Notice how the above quote didn't say 'Role-play', although that was obviously what he was talking about.

I would also like to mention, as the only active teacher(Sorry Zorolo xP) that making every newbie join the dome would kill my video gaming time, and drive me insane. Overall I am not up for a work increase.

The thing about the OoC thread is that you have to KEEP asking. If you ask once, odds are all the people wanting to battle at the moment are off doing other things. I also find you get better results if you ask a specific person directly. They might not be looking for an RP or battle, but if you bring the idea to them they might be willing.

Puck is only one androgynous android! Even if not everyone acknowledges the fact that this won't work, he would be able to handle the intensity of the influx of the quantum capacitator noobs.
