Who Wants to be a Battle Arena Mod? Voting Closed!

Salutations, and greetings members of the Escapist’s Haven. As you are no doubt aware, one of our resident moderators, Safer, resigned his position a couple of weeks ago. There can be no one to replace him, but for a week I acted in his stead, serving as a fake moderator for our past April Fools Day prank. Needless to say, despite the obvious nature of the prank, fun was still had by all.

Now then, we the council have decided to do a first in EH history; we plan to let you, the regular members, have a say in our next mod selection! Once we have candidates, we will post them up, maybe have a debate or something. Details are still being worked out. However, rest assured your votes will have an impact.

When the council goes to vote among the candidates, we will add a +1 vote to the winner of the public election. Given the nature of council voting, this can make, or break someone’s chances at being elected. Expect some more information when we get around to discussing it. Don’t get too excited because this could take a while.

This thread will be edited as necessary to keep the Village clean.

You should set down some guidelines for spamming, compaign promises, contributive advertising, and candy distribution in the name of the winner. Candy distribution being the most important.

Only Us guys can be nominated, and we can only be nominated by other councilors in the box. This thread will be for voting after the niminations.

You make a fair point, it's very easy to cast a vote callously at friends when others are more likely to do the Job.
