Halloween Spooktacular! (Character Party)

Welcome, one and all to what will hopefully be the first of many holiday parties to come. For the next week, (Hopefully next year we’ll start earlier then the day before the day before the event) an unnamed benefactor will open up the rather extravagant mansion in their possession for use as a party hall (and they will remain unnamed). It comes complete with all the food under the sun, enough beer to sink a ship (or get even the most hardy person drunk as a skunk), and activities (like the pool =P) to keep guests entertained.

Now then, this thread is similar to, yet different from the IC thread. For one, it’s a little more relaxed, but you (and your character, subsequently) will be ejected from the thread if you break the rules more then once. The second main difference is the lack of contact needed to sign up, this allows people to come and go as they please. However, a list of characters and their costumes will be on hand to keep track of things.

Aside from this, and the stuffy rules, have fun, stay sober, and don’t go too far overboard. =P If this is a hit, there will be other threads like this for other events.

Also, for ease, please put the names of your characters, then their costumes to make my life a little easier. Thank you, now, for the rules. =(

Party Rules

* Posts must be at least 15 -20 words long. Also, all posts must have at least two lines of text. Any post that isn’t this length will be deleted on sight.
* IM Speak is allowed. However, if you wish to type in standard RP format, knock yourself out.
* Smilies are allowed so long as they do not negatively affect the post’s quality.
* Out of Character is allowed as long as it is strictly pertaining to the thread and kept short. It should be important, too, nothing like "I'm going to bed now." OoC does not count towards the word limit.
* You must talk in the perspective of your character.
* You may only have a maximum of three characters present in the thread.
* Do not mention "Your creator" in your posts. This is completely in character.
* Remember, this is a website for everyone, so keep the content acceptable.

(Grundcull is The Joker.)

Grundcull strolled through the chily night in Joker form. He looked exactly like Heath Ledger's Joker due to his morphing ability and an online clothes store. He was attempting to capture some of the man's mannerisms such as playing with the hair and the wet sound of opening the mouth in speech. He'd been playing with his vocal cords all day to get them just right. Eventually the crunch of gravel stopped as Grundcull walked onto a granite step of the masnion. He opened the door and entered.

"Why so serious?" he called to see if anyone was there.

(Jonah is Jack Krauser from Resident Evil 4, and can make is arm go all mutated This will be fun )

Jonah walked up the steps towards the mansion, his costume exposing his arms to the cold air. He'd arrived on this world at random and they appeared to be in some festivity, something called Halloween. Eager to find out more he opened the door to the mansion, and gasped as he saw its interior.

They had beer.

*Enters the mansion in her witch attire, broom and all, looking around at the emptyness* Hello?

*Is already inside, sipping on some sake for lack of anything else to do, or people to talk about, fake fangs beside him on the counter*

Grundcull strolled in and smiled. The silver beer keg glistened in the light from the room. He looked at the man sitting at a tanble.

"Bet ya 20 bucks I can drink this by myself in atleast 30 seconds," he said with a wry smile.

I'm not a betting man, but sure, I've got 20 bucks doing nothing. *He wheels around on his chair and watches* I'll keep time. *Brings up his watch* Ready? Set? Go!

Grundcull popped open the cap on the keg and brough it to his mouth, quick as lightning. Not a drop escaped his gaping mouth as the cold liquid passed down his throat and into his empty stomach. After half the conatainer he noticed the toll the alcohol was taking on him but several seonds later he was finished. "Time!" he shouted and smalled the empty container to the ground.

Grundcull had a bit of trouble pocketing the money. His pocket seemed to be pulsing randomly and moving around in circles... Oh wait... Grundcull looked around and saw a pot of coffee. "Sober up," he muttered as he reached for a mug and the coffee pot.

He turned away as the man dressed as the Joker reached for a pot of coffee, not even feeling a buzz from the sake yet, much to his disdain.

Aleena looked around for someone other then the two guys. However, the large mansion appeared empty save for the three of them and the staff.

[atropos dressed as a dark angel]

A party is not a party if Atropos Belladonna isn't there. Or so Atropos Belladonna believed. She heard rumors about some local mansion opened up to a large Halloween party, and she decided to join the party, or crash the party, or something to that extent. She used her Black Matter to form a dark costume for herself; large feathered wings attached to her back, long black claws extending from her hands, and a sticky black substance covering most of her body.

She approached the mansion, and screeched as she flew through the door, making sure to shatter the door into a million splinters as she came through (for dramatic effect of course.)

Jonah stared in disbelief at the empty keg of beer the "Joker" had just downed. Reaching for a group of filled glasses, Jonah began to down them.

"He he he! Beer!"
