You'll get so few people who'd want to bother with looking up the laws of physics every time you use the character. It's why there're so many magic-users - magic is more easily adaptable.

It's only really going to be a hassle (if that, I'm sleep-deprived as I'm writing "this character", so I'm really not a good judge of these things right now) when it comes to getting it approved.

I can just imagine every BA council member trying to figure out why you used E=MC2 to describe the power of your fireball.

If the fireball is made via nuclear fission, (or fusion) then it would be extremely powerful thingy go boom!
