But maybe I'll try it out sometime... ^^;;

...and if that doesn't work out, $20-30 doesn't sound too bad.

I have a ball mouse at the moment... because everything I have is sorta ancient. But my brother has an optical mouse, and it seems okay. A little weird at times, but that could just be because it might be cheap/I'm not used to how it moves. He has a mousepad for it, but that doesn't necessarily mean it'd be too bad without one.

Why do some swords have barbs? Surely they'd be harder to get out of the bloodied flesh of the person you are hacking to pieces? Not very practical in my opinion

Those barbs are Vaskalen's 'Dragon Teeth' They retract into the blade when not in use, as dictated by its profile. ^_^

Really? That's what Vassy looks like when it has a full collection of blood. ^__^ Feel free to comment on the other drawings too, goodnes knows I could use the encouragement.

I plan to try out my tablet first one of these days before looking into any new ones. I think a mouse for my lappy and then maybe a scanner (so I don't have to worry about my brother refusing every time I have to ask to use his) are next on my list of compy-related purchases. I get paid sometime next week, but I have to see how much is left after I buy the second half of my brother's birthday gift, and pay for this book I ordered. ^^;;

Hehe, okay, I will sometime. I know I like getting comments too, although ones where people just say "Nice" don't help much. XP

And yah, try making a thread! People in the A & W can really help give some good feedback/criticism to help you improve, and it's a nice place to showcase your works. Some people might even pounce on you for requests. : P

Interesting, I thought Vaskalen would be more of a two-hander.

You know, coming up with a decent, sustainable plot is the hardest part of RPing. :\

But it's much better than thinking it up as you go.

That's when a... well, a giant nest of sand-worms pops out of nowhere and such.

Okay, the sand-worm nest is in a giant, inescapeable indentation of land. So, the characters fall into it and have to fight them all of as more and more hatch with every second. The point of this is to survive until a rainbow-coloured hippo named dave decends from the sky and whisks them away to safety.
