It is. Try out the Mouse Movements. I speeds up workflow to twice the speed or so. You don't need to use a keyboard if you don't need to type something, and you get access to all the commands you need by pressing the right mousebutton followed by either a gesture or the left mouse button (right then left goes back, left then right goes forward, in history.)

I never really understood the difference between browsers. Do any have special features or run better? I've got Windows Internet Explorer 7 and feel a bit overwhelmed

I'm running Opera, currently--Not bad. Quite sleek.

Gonna' have to run it for a few days before I make a descision between Fox and O, though.

I've heard FireFox can have some Java problems,so I'd go for Opera.

You'll love it after you start to use it. It's not as big an complex as FireFox, while at the same time just as powerful and with just as many features. But the mouse gestures are what converted me. It's not that useful on a touchpad on a laptop, but with a proper mouse, it's irreplacable. I keep doing the gestures in Vista, even thou I know it's not working.. It is just so much faster!!!!!

I find Vista perfectly usable. Much simpler than Linux, and more advanced than XP (with even less crashes - thinks back till install date, actually... Vista haven't crashed on me once!!)
And it's not Mac, which I hold a vendetta against, for various reasons.

I'm running Vista on mah Lappy, currently. Works great. Haven't had any problems--thus far.

I don't really get people's obsession with all things Apple. I, personally, find it confusing and unintuitive.

I understand the appeal behind Linux, the whole open source thing, but barely any major software runs on it--unfortunately. (So I've heard from technophile friends.)

Also, I got Vista after Service Pack One, so I don't know if it makes that much of a difference or not.

I browsed Opera's widgets and didn't find anything useful. The Add-Ons I download on FF are actually used, and I only download a few things. (Script Blocker is incredible. Occasionally annoying, but incredible. Like Ahnold, just with the internet instead of a Robot invasion.)

Theo Hart is awesome.
