Aronin Orino went through the gates of the Dome. How this was even barely possible, he didn't know. What matters was that the old man, whom he had met at a shady inn in Canada, had told him that he knew of a place called the Dome, where people with powers could be trained. He sat down on a rock, in a park, and opened his slender backpack. It contained only a baguette with some pepper cheese and salad, but tasted extremely good. When he thought about it, he hadn't had any food for the last three days as he was looking for the Dome, and as he took a look at his arm, he noticed it was skinny to the bone.
"Damn it" he said, before he realized what he'd say, and went back into his emotionless trance. "I just need some food, and it will be ok again". He thought about the journey he'd performed, and how silly he was, leaving without any food. Lucky thing he had found the backpack containing some beverage and a baguette underneath the pine tree. Come to think of it, it was strange, wasn't it? When he left the inn, he had received directions from the old man, but when you walk in the ice for so long, directions are nothing. And the old man had mentioned the tree, he recalled... "When you reach the tree, you know you followed the directions".
It was the only tree he could see when he was standing there, and was the only tree he had seen while walking towards, what he now would describe as utterly madness. Who would venture into the wilderness of Canada to find something that no one knew about? He shook his head as he finished his baguette, and took a better look around.
The area was deserted. He wished that someone would appear, to tell him what to do, but at the same time, he was afraid. But he could not allow himself to be afraid. And still, he was. He turned his head, as a person came out in the light, from what had seemed like a solid wall.
"Welcome Aronin Orino. This is the Dome, and I'm .....
