Re: The Dome: Semester Four
Making a request for Lady Altimara to take this little nutjob under her wing, if room is still available. I heard that your tutelage would be a good choice.

Re: The Dome: Semester Four
I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but out of respect, and because I was new, I waited over two weeks for my character to be assigned a teacher, and nobody followed through. I hadn't asked anyone in particular, so the fact that none of you could take the time to tutor one more writer speaks volumes. Now, I'm asking once more, could I please have a teacher. It woud be greatly appreciated, if any of you can manage to pull it off. Because I happen to have trouble when it comes to writing characters' thoughts.
My character is Nafien, the link is in my signature. Thanks.

Re: The Dome: Semester Four
This novice knight is looking for a teacher, but I just can't decide which one. Admittedly, I'm leaning towards Zorolo because my two RPing buddies Notsil and Keep It Simple are under his guidance, but that isn't a fair way to pick among three talented teachers now is it?
At the risk of sounding arrogant, I like to see myself as a talented RPer with a solid understanding of writing and grammar, and the basics of RPing and more. However, I noticed I have a tendency to shape my characters into cliché, Luke Skywalker-esque good guys, and in extreme cases make them Gary Stus. I feel I also need to work on my PvP battles, for I'm worried I'm too aggressive in my battle posts and may not be giving my opponents enough fair chances to properly RP a response. And heck, I wouldn't say no to completely relearning how to RP as long as I have fun doing so. I might find areas where I'm flawed and never knew it. Anyone interested? |

Re: The Dome: Semester Four
Aronin Orino went through the gates of the Dome. How this was even barely possible, he didn't know. What matters was that the old man, whom he had met at a shady inn in Canada, had told him that he knew of a place called the Dome, where people with powers could be trained. He sat down on a rock, in a park, and opened his slender backpack. It contained only a baguette with some pepper cheese and salad, but tasted extremely good. When he thought about it, he hadn't had any food for the last three days as he was looking for the Dome, and as he took a look at his arm, he noticed it was skinny to the bone.
"Damn it" he said, before he realized what he'd say, and went back into his emotionless trance. "I just need some food, and it will be ok again". He thought about the journey he'd performed, and how silly he was, leaving without any food. Lucky thing he had found the backpack containing some beverage and a baguette underneath the pine tree. Come to think of it, it was strange, wasn't it? When he left the inn, he had received directions from the old man, but when you walk in the ice for so long, directions are nothing. And the old man had mentioned the tree, he recalled... "When you reach the tree, you know you followed the directions". It was the only tree he could see when he was standing there, and was the only tree he had seen while walking towards, what he now would describe as utterly madness. Who would venture into the wilderness of Canada to find something that no one knew about? He shook his head as he finished his baguette, and took a better look around. The area was deserted. He wished that someone would appear, to tell him what to do, but at the same time, he was afraid. But he could not allow himself to be afraid. And still, he was. He turned his head, as a person came out in the light, from what had seemed like a solid wall. "Welcome Aronin Orino. This is the Dome, and I'm ..... ooc: Hello, I'm Fluesopp, and I have never done anything like this before, so please say if I'm doing anything wrong here. So, could anyone of you teachers take me as a student? |

Thanks Wolfen, now I just need to decide who I want my teacher to be!
Okay! I want to be taught by (Drum roll, please! ...No, not that terrible pun!) Safer or Zorolo! Safer/Zorolo, I need to train Synyx. And don't worry, I don't usually use that many exclamation points.

Sepheniz is lost in a vast forest surrounded by countless trees. Suddenly, he confronts a portal. Sepheniz approaches the portal and gets sucked in. He reaches a plce filled of beautyful decorations... "Is this... The Dome?" "I expected something more... boring," Sepheniz walks throught the corridors and suddenly encounters a sign that says... "Welcome to The Dome! Ths is where we shall accept characters for teaching them the arts of training. Please go to your right to reach the Approval room." "Um... OK?" Sepheniz walks to he's right and enters the room. In there, he sees a vast line with many people... "Wh-wat? Is this the... line?!" Sepheniz waits peacefully for he's turn to come.
