Re: The Dome - Unison
Essence walked through the hallways. She was just trying to see if there was a room to train in. One person walked around aimlessly gazing at the doors around him. 'Newcomer', Essence thought. She avoided him to avoid being asked questions. She had came here a little while ago, and was not in the position to be a tour guide. She opened a door to a dark forest with a setting sun dimming like fire.
She did not see this a good place to train and opened the door and left. Two more people joined the boy in walking aimlessly. They then gathered and started to talk. Essence left them to chat. She walked to another circular room only with unique doors that were student's rooms. She entered a hallway which led to another large room with student rooms. She saw her room and entered it. "Huh?" she spoke in suprise. A man was in her room. He turned to her and jumped in surprise. "What exactly are you doing in my room?" she spoke. The man looked confused. "R-room?" he stuttered. He clearly didn't know what the Dome was and was a new student. Essence was mad at the man, but was easy since he was a newcomer. "Yes, please leave" she spoke sharply. The man's face lit up. "D-do you know what this place is?" he asked eagerly. Essence then spoke as she directed him out. "You will find out soon" She got the man out the door and shut it. She lay on her bed. A few minutes later, someone knocked on her door. "Come in!" She yeled.

Re: The Dome - Unison
OoC: I hope it's okay if I begin a plot.
BiC: Tuariv, after trading some words with Gorin, left the library, crystal sword in tow. He returned to his quarters and placed the sword carefully on a wall hook, and did the same with his regular weapon. The lizard let out a heavy sigh. What was it I saw in Kenjins room?... Damn Dome, trying to hold me back no doubt... Thoughts flashed across his mind, Tuariv crawled onto his bed to attempt to relax, as his thoughts passed by there was one in particular that struck deep. The more I'm held back the more I search, and the more I search I slowly grow more and more powerful... it's as if the Dome is holding me back on purpose for that chain of events to happen. Damn Dome, it's just trying to be th... Tuarivs eyes bulged out immediatly, "Oh my god!" I've got to keep the Dome from finding out what I discovered... I must leave right now! The lizard jumped out of bed, grabbed his claymore and left for the door. As he opened it he looked back, seeing the crystal weapon just hanging on the wall. Tuariv gave a sigh and reluctantly took it with him as he left his room. Damnit Aurora, I could use you right now... The warrior walked through the hallways until finally coming to the door of the only teacher he knew of, Tokumaru. He banged his fists against it, but there was no answer. Nearby were a group of newbies to the Dome, talking to one another. "Hey man, have you seen any of the teachers resently?" One asked. "No, weird huh?" Another said. "Yeah, but then again this whole place is weird." Damnit. I'm going to need help, I just hope the teachers aren't in on it too.

Re: The Dome - Unison
"Keep banging like that and you'll break the door down." said Gorin. His room turned out to be just down the hall from Tokumaru's, and Gorin found Tuariv while returning to his room.
"Have you seen Tokumaru?" inquired Tuariv. Could he trust what he had found out to Gorin? No, he couldn't trust anybody but a teacher. Gorin was too much of a scheming weasel to tell. "Nope, haven't seen Tokumaru for two days." replied Gorin. Something was interesting about Tuariv today. The echo hadn't expected to see Tuariv in his hall, let alone banging on the Heavenflame Samurai's door. "If you see him will you let me know?" asked Tuariv. He knew that Gorin was a man of his word... usually. "Sure, I'll let you know." answered Gorin. With those parting words Gorin entered his room, ready to read more of Grasthos' notes.

Re: The Dome - Unison
I can't trust anyone... not until I can find a teacher, and even then I don't know...
Tuariv paced around his room, he had realized a horendous thing that's just hidden right under the noses of the unaware. Damnit, damnit, damnit! He looked at the walls as if they were trying to see his thoughts. There's got to be something I can do, until then I'm stuck in this place. Even I can't deal with such problems by myself. The lizard was very tense, he tried to relax but couldn't. Deciding he would have to wait Tuariv laid down on his bed and went to sleep.

Re: The Dome - Unison
Essence saw a young girl come in. She looked scared and confused at once, which looked scary.
"Um.....Essence, have you seen Letia around? She hasn't come for me for my next lesson," she spoke. Essence giggled on the inside. 'Ah newbies, get scared if their teachers doesn't come' she thought. Then again, Letia didn't give her next lesson yet. Essence's last lesson was a few days ago. "I haven't seen her either, want to check her room?" Essence said kindly. The girl nodded, trembling that another hasn't seen their teacher. Essence went through the halls to the teacher's rooms. The girl walked with her to Letia's door. Essence knocked at it. "Letia! Are you there?" No answer peeped through the door. Essence was now trembling. The girl got frightened, she saw some other people and told them the news. The half-breed knocked at other teacher's doors. Each followed her knocking by the erie silence. Essence's thoughts turned drastic. 'Did something happen to the teachers?' she thought. She got her scimitar out and bolted to the first door she came to.

Re: The Dome - Unison
Tuariv awoke, he had slept peacefully, this gave him an eerie feeling. Everything was to peaceful at the moment, usually the Dome is causing mischeif and trouble for the residents, has it discovered what I know?
The lizard sat up, no... otherwise I'd probably dead... He rushed out of his room in a futal attempt to get help, under other circumstances Tuariv would probably never do it. Can I trust Kenjin?... Essence and Kenjin were discussing what was going on with the sudden disappearance of the Domes teachers, when an invisible force grabbed Essence and threw her out of Kenjins room. "You better explain what that was for Tuariv." Kenjin demanded. The front door locked and Tuariv materialized, "I'll explain, but you won't believe me..." ***** "Hey! Open the door Kenin! We aren't done talking! You better tell me what the heck it was that-" Essence yelled at the door, but before she could finish Tuariv and Kenjin emerged. "I'm done here." Tuariv growled and ran off.

Re: The Dome - Unison
Valion watched as the small group departed from the library.
“Might as well dispose of this” Valion muttered to himself, turning to the carcass of the rhino demon. Grabbing it by it two back legs, he dragged it out of the library. “Must weigh a ton” Valion mused to himself, having no trouble whatsoever dragging it. After going down five hallways and getting a few weird looks, he finally arrived at the place he had been looking for, Animal dissection. He knocked on the door, and left, making sure not to be seen. Valion went back to the library, since he would probably finish the book he was on in a matter of hours, and he didn’t want to make anymore trips out of his room that day. Picking up several containing more holy stuff, Valion departed for his room. He arrived at his room again, stacked all the new books neatly on his bookshelf. He picked up his book and laid down on his bed, and started to read. But as soon as he had finished the first sentence, R.V suddenly perked up. “We must feed, your glucose levels are getting low” “You just had to say that as I was about to start my book, didn’t you.” Valion once again got up and left, not bothering to leave his sword in his room. No rest for the wicked Valion said to himself, and entered the kitchen, and the smells of food instantly filled his nose. He grabbed a plate, piling as much on as he could, determined to make sure that R.V wouldn’t ruin his reading. Most of the tables were full, except one where a man, woman, and a cat. Valion sat across form them, and started into his meal, shoving as much as he could in at once. The man and woman didn’t pay attention to him, obviously they were in deep conversation. But the cat was watching him with hungry eyes. Valion smiled to himself, and tossed a bit of fish to it. It jumped for it, catching it in midair, landing on the table, and consumed it within a matter of seconds. The man and woman looked up, and Valion looked at the table, and started to eat again. But the cat was sitting on the table, obviously waiting for more food, watching Valion intently. Valion risked a glance upward and both of the people across form him were staring. “What?” Ooc: hope its alright I interrupted. |

Re: The Dome - Unison
OoC: That's okay, Icy Angel. I wasn't sure where to go with Kichaa's and Kai's conversation, anyway.
BiC: The dragoon giggled a little when she saw Cobalt staring intently at the man's food as though he was trying to will the food over to him. Then she took at closer look at the man. He was dressed in a grey shirt and white pants. He also had a large overcoat around his back. Kai sensed he was hiding something with that. She was guilty of the same thing. His white hair flowed down his face but she got the impression that his eyes were not the same color. Then the man looked up and saw that her, and apparently Kichaa, were both looking at him. "What?" he asked. The Hylian stole a glance at her, a look that said he wasn't interested in disscussing the sword styles around more people. Kai, however, didn't mind the newcomer. "I'm Kai Chosen," she said, "And this greedy cat is Cobalt." The feline meowed happily, as though he was admitting what she said. "I'm Kichaa Mesoa." The man looked at them both. "I am Valion," he said simply and went back to eating. I guess he's not much of a talker, the dragoon observed. But Cobalt wasn't going to let him off that easily. The cat walked closer to him, right up to his ear. Valion peered over at the cat before Cobalt licked him right in the ear. "Ah," he cried in surprise and brought up a hand to the now wet ear. "Cobalt!" Kai scolded while Kichaa was laughing. "Sorry about that," she apologized. Then, a commotion was heard outside the cafeteria.

Re: The Dome - Unison
"What the hell do you mean?!" A voice boomed.
"I'm sorry... sir, but at the moment none are allowed to leave the Dome." Tuariv was fighting with a gatekeeper, he grabbed the gatekeeper by the neck, "You are to let me leave at once." The gatekeeper coughed, "Even if I tried, I cannot. Right now the Dome isn't anywhere." Tuariv snarled and threw the man into the ground, the once pure white ground now had a couple small spots of blood. Tuariv snorted and a small amount of smoke billowed out of his nostrils, Damnit.

Re: The Dome - Unison
"What's this I hear about nobody being able to leave the Dome?" asked a voice. Tuariv turned around to see that Gorin was yet again leaning against a wall.
"Have you been following me?!" growled the lizard. Gorin gave a slight chuckle. "Yeah, I'm very interested in following an oversized iguana around and watching it beat the living daylights out of gatekeepers. I'm just here because the portal in my room isn't working." replied the echo. "You've got a portal in your room?" asked Tuariv. He had never heard of students having portals to the outside world in their room. "I have a portal because none of the Dome's exits will drop me off within 100 miles of Grasthos' lab." replied Gorin. This was strange, why wasn't the portal working? And why weren't the doors unlocked?

Re: The Dome - Unison
Innocent blood had been spilled somewhere, Valion could sense it. Leaving his plate behind with the hungry Cobalt, he followed Kai and Kichaa out into the hallway, where droplets of blood where scattered across the floor. A guard was lying on the floor, unconscious from a blow to the head when he hit the floor. Valion pulled out his sword, thankful that he had brought it. Stood behind the unconscious guard was Tuariv, and next to him was the one called Gorin from the library.
“What did you do that for?” asked Kai. “None of your business” Tuariv replied. “Its our business when you go around hurting people.” Valion said, he knew a few of the lizard’s tricks, but it had been a while since they had fought. The one called Gorin was watching the argument with intrest. “I was angry and wanted to leave, but the guard said I couldn’t. In my frustration I took my anger out on him.” Tuariv said silently Valion sensed that he was telling the truth, well partly. Valion sheathed his sword, and walked up the guard. He brought out his pendant and laid it on the mans head, and focused some of his energy into it. The wound began to heal, and the flecks of blood on the floor disappeared. The man opened his eyes suddenly, and looked at Tuariv. “Next time you need to take your anger out on something, take it out on me. That would be fun.” Valion muttered so that only Tuariv could hear him. “Fine” Valion walked back to the cafeteria, to find that Cobalt had consumed what he left on his plate, and was licking his face clean of all crumbs. Kai was laughing silently, and Valion sat down in front of his empty plate. “Wonder where my food went?” Valion said aloud, and the cat jumped off the table hurriedly, trying to get away from the crime scene. But as it jumped, it caught Valion’s coat, pulling it off completely, showing his wings. This caught both Kichaa’s and Kai’s immediate attention. His wings instantly unfolded, the metallic one standing out. Valion hurriedly pulled his coat back on. “What were those?” Kichaa asked. “My wings” |

Re: The Dome - Unison
Your wings. No kidding, Kichaa thought to himself.
"And you're hiding them because..." he let the sentence hang. "I just don't want people to know I have them," the man replied, feigning to be casual. Kichaa narrowed his eyes at the man, instantly suspicious. He'd been at the Dome enough to see much stranger things than wings, one of them being a massive lizard sentient with a fould temper. "And why not?" Kichaa continued, allowing a tinge of suspicion find its way into his reply. The partly metallic man glared at him as if Kichaa was insulting him. Well, maybe he was but not directly. Kai was eying the exchange curiously, but Kichaa couldn't tell who's side she would take if the man went overboard. He continued glaring at Kichaa as he responded, "That's none of your business." Kichaa let it drop, simply glancing at the two- a bit pointedly at Valion- and left the room. He headed down the hall at a normal gate, eager to leave behind this silly drama. He found his door locked, something that had never happened before, when he arrived and wondered why everything was screwing up around here. He walked back to the kitchen and spoke as soon as he entered, "My room's locked. What's going on?"

Re: The Dome - Unison
"You seem more tense than usual. I'll just go ahead and assume you've discovered something of extreme importance." Gorin said in a creepy voice.
Tuariv simply responded with a growl and motioned for Gorin to follow him. They walked through the Domes tremendous hallways until finally arriving in Tuarivs quarters, Gorin viewed all that was around him and awaited for Tuariv to tell the Echo why he led Gorin to his room. The lizard sighed, "Have you felt anything strange going on?" Tuariv asked quietly. Gorin only shook his head and frowned, "Well," Tuariv continued, "I realized something you may not want to believe." Gorin only stared as Tuariv talked very quietly, "Why is the Dome collecting all these powerful warriors and training them?" The Echo crossed his arms, "To train them of course." "But why?" "Uhh..." "Why hasn't anyone said the reason the Dome goes across the galaxy and collects powerful people, trains them, has them grow stronger, goes to all this trouble?" "What are you getting at?" "... It's a simply question Gorin, why does the Dome do what it does?" "To..." "To become the most powerful force in the universe. To be unstoppable." OoC: Any teachers wanna post?

Re: The Dome - Unison
Valion sat in silence with Cobalt and Kai, occasionally sipping from a glass of water. Kai was stroking her cat absentmindedly, her thoughts preoccupied, as was the cats. Valion felt like he should break the silence but he didn’t know how.
Glucose levels have reached maximum R.V said out of nowhere. That was a good way to break the silence. “What was that?” Kai said, looking at Valion. “R.V, he can say things at the wrong moments” “What is he, a soul trapped in your body or something?” “I wish, then I could remove him. He’s here” Valion said, tapping his skull with a metallic finger. “He’s in your brain?” “I was killed, then he was put in to bring me back to life. Without him, my body would be a rotting corpse. After a while he started talking to me, and he can get really annoying, watch. R.V, what are demons and angel?” Positive energy signatures were created by the maker, and negative energy signatures are evolutions of the positive ones, mutated by the conditions in which they live in and the way they lead their lives. “See what I mean, he can break down any word into something like that. He has given me new strengths though.” As Kai was about to reply, Kichaa appeared “My rooms locked. What’s going on?” Valion left as soon as Kichaa stopped speaking. He had felt something like this, in the church praying that morning, but he didn’t know what it had been. He walked quickly, and soon came to his room. He rested a hand on his door, and it melted, revealing his true door. He tried the handle, and like Kichaa’s door, it was locked. Valion walked back to the kitchen, and sat back down. Kichaa had joined Kai while he had been gone. “Something’s not right, I can feel it” |

Re: The Dome - Unison
Essence walked away from Kenjin's room. She made her way to her door, she was a bit tired. She turned the knob, it was locked. She got out her key and tried to use it. The key was knocked out her hand by a force from the door.
"Something's wrong" she said as she walked to the kitchen. She grabbed a glass of water and sat near 3 others. "So your door was locked too?" one said. Essence looked to them and lisened in. "Yes" another said quietly.

Re: The Dome - Unison
"Ummm, mister Gorin." said a rather small warrior. The Oblivion Master had left Tuariv's quarters after a short discussion, and was heading to his room when the young warrior addressed him.
"What?" asked Gorin. He needed time to think, not answer questions by annoying people. This better be quick. "I heard from some of the other students that you're incredibly powerful and I was wondering..." The young warrior's face was turning red. Whether it was because of the powerful warrior standing before them or the nature of their addressing the warrior, they did not know. "Well?" asked Gorin. The young warrior had gone nearly thirty seconds without finishing the question. The echo was starting to grow hungry... "Could you help me open my door? It's stuck..." finished the young warrior. Gorin raised an eyebrow. "Your door?" The young warrior nodded sheepishly and started off in the direction of their room. The Oblivion Master decided to see what the problem was. The doors were usually easy to open...

Re: The Dome - Unison
“The rooms must be locked for a reason, they have never been locked before.” Valion said, puzzled that so many peoples rooms were locked.
“Hold on, did we leave anything of importance in the rooms?” Kai said. “Only thing in my room was… oh no, no!” Valion shouted, jumping up from the table and sprinting towards his room. The others looked in amazement, and then followed suit. If the dome has taken it, I will rip this place apart… Valion had left one of his most vital pieces of equipment in his room, his circuit chip override to his brain. If what he was thinking was true, it would be gone. Reaching his door, Valion let off 3 blasts of lightning blue energy straight into it, but they all bounced off as if they were just wind. There was a sound and the others appeared behind them, red in the face from running. “GIVE IT BACK!!!” the angel shouted angrily, bringing his sword out and started hacking at the door. |

Re: The Dome - Unison
Kichaa stood, mout slightly agape, staring at the clearly upset man. Might as well hack the door down, he thought to himself, no other way in I suppose... With that Kichaa glanced at Kai, then drew his sword and joined the man in hacking at the door. Despite the combined strength, however, the door didn't even splinter, much less break, so Kichaa and Valion ended up sitting on the floor, Valion glaring at the rebellious door handle and Kichaa staring at the warrior.
"What did you leave in your room?" to which he didn't reply, so Kichaa kept silent for a moment, before changing back to the subject at hand, "Why do you think the rooms were locked? I've never had trouble getting into mine before." "Me neither," said Kai, who had joined them on the floor of the hallway. Valion still didn't say anything so Kichaa made a suggestion, "I think it'd be a good idea to go to the library and read up on the Dome. There may be some hints in there..." His voice trailed of slowly as he stood and started towards the library.

Re: The Dome - Unison
51...52...53... Latio counted as he tore apart another wolf. He had payed twenty gold coins to enter a contest, in which he had to slay one-hundred fifty of these wolves in a row, and if he won, he'd get a prize. I better get something good out of this... The wolves were not 'real' wolves, just animated piles of flesh made to look, and act, real.
"And the challenger has hit the sixty mark!" the announcer shouted. This arena was the same one he had faced Kenjin in. Sixty down, ninety to go... The remaining wolves suddenly vanished in ninety little puffs of smoke, and Latio and the audience were teleported just outside the door to the arena. Far down the echoing hallways Latio heard the sound of swords smashing against wood, though not chopping it. The foxfolk ran to the source, there wasn't usually any fighting in the Dome itself; they occured in the endless amount of rooms it held. When he got there, he heard three sets of footsteps, and Kai and two others discussing why the rooms were locked. I don't even have a rom, Latio complained. He snuck up on the trio and grabbed Kai's shoulders. "Boo!" he said loudly, but not shouting. The dragoon spun around, and slapped Latio across the face. "Oh, it's just you," she said with a sigh of relief. She offered a hand to Latio, who was on the ground, and helped him up. "We'er going to the library, do you want to come, too?" "Um, sure." |
