Weird Land (Anybody)

OoC: This is my first RPG story. I'd like up to 3 others, and one who knows the land of Hyrule from LoZ:OoT is appreciated. It's not required, but I feel a lot more comfortable with it. Character in sig.

BiC: Dilnos was not having a good day.

His day started off with the usual: wake up, grab the Magnif, and ask around if anybody heard of Firoh. Up to a while ago, all he got was replies of, "No,". He may have been one who would keep going until he got what he needed, but with every "No," he felt his life up to this point was all a joke.

Until now. He was asking a blacksmith who was related to Reggie, a friend of his, if he heard of Firoh when a strange figure came up to him.

"You're looking for Firoh?" it said. It sounded like a male, and it was wearing the kind of black robe that had a hood for covering one's head as well as one's body.

"Yeah?" I said, "What's in it for you?"

"Firoh is a name to be feared. Firoh is a name you would do well to avoid."

Dilnos thought the man was a lunatic. Why was he saying things like that?

"Look, I'm not one to disagree, but I have a score to settle with him." he said.

"Why would you do such a foolish thing?" Man, the man was persistent, Dilnos thought.

"Firoh was the one who gave the command to kill my family when I was just 13. I was happy, and he took away what I loved. For that, I can't forgive him."

"Why don't you quit?"

"I'm not giving up until I see Firoh dead!"

"Well, here he is!" the man threw off his cape, and Dilnos's guts flew south for the winter. He had white hair and a small rock hanging around his neck, but his face was awful. He had a moderate case of acne, and his nose was twisted to his left.

"Whoa," Dilnos said. He had been so busy looking for Firoh that he never came up with a plan to kill him.

Time to improvise. He reached for the Magnif, and felt nothing. Huh?, his mind thought, Where is it? He looked at Firoh and saw that he was holding it in his left hand, which looked all twisted and gnarly.

"Pardon me, but you have my sword!" He felt that no one was to touch it, but in a time like this?

Firoh pulled out the sword and slashed Dilnos across the chest.

"Uh!" Dilnos said as he fell. He landed on his back and looked up at Firoh.

"Here," Firoh said as he brought the Magnif down to the ground. It shattered, the pieces flying past Dilnos. Firoh then threw the broken sword on top of his mangled body.

Dilnos saw that the rock had turned golden yellow, like...

Uh-oh, Dilnos thought. When he had showed Ardnal and Natalia the Magnif, Ardnal said something about never letting it break. Now, it was broken. What else could possibly go wrong?

"Ha! Now with the Golden Star, I can now rule the land of Hyrule!"

Dilnos did the one thing he could do: pray that whatever Firoh was talking about never come true.

He heard Firoh say some words he couldn't understand, and he felt his whole body move.

He closed his eyes, then opened them quickly. He felt himself land on his back. As he got up, aching with pain, he saw that it was a weird place. Near him was something that looked like a rather huge fortress.

"Uh..." Dilnos fainted.

OoC: Hey, this is perfect for my new character, Mayula, to join. Link to my character thread is in my sig. :]

BiC: Mayula wandered along the outskirts of Hyrule, having snuck away from the castle once more to adventure on her own. By now the overprotectiveness of her parents had begun to make her think perhaps there were good reasons for wanting to worry about her as much as they do. Still, Mayula decided she could still take care of herself better than either of her parents thought, and moved on, hoping to find some training soon. Just slashing air with her dual blades wasn't good enough, May decided, and was looking for an actual battle or sparring partner other than the knights or her father back home. She felt it was better to be able to challenge all kinds of opponents, not the same ones over and over.

After awhile, Mayula finally thought she'd seen something of interest. A giant fortress stood in the distance hidden within a small forest of trees some several hundred feet away. It was tall, made of brightly gray stone, and did not look very old. As May walked towards it to do a little exploring, she spotted something else that immediately took her mind off of the strange place: a man lying unconscious on the dirty ground, blood across his chest. Mayula gasped at the sight, wondering if he was dead or not.

"Oh! Oh my goodness!" she exclaimed, and raced up to the motionless man. "Mister? Are you...alive?" There was no answer for a few minutes. Finally, the man began to awaken, and Mayula was relieved she hadn't found a dead person.

"Huh...?" the man said. "Where am I? Who are you?"

"I'm Mayula. Everyone calls me May for short though," May replied. "As for where we are, I haven't the slightest clue."

"Hmm..." the man said. "...Auggh!" He tried to sit up, but the pain in his chest commenced to stop him.

"Hey, you should take it easy! That wound looks serious!" May pointed out. "I thought you were dead at first when I found you!"

"But I must leave...!" the man protested. "I'm on a personal mission..." Mayula still decided he should not go anywhere, at least not until the man was better. It was typical of her to try helping a stranger in bad shape.

"Not in this condition you shouldn't," May insisted. "If you promise to stay here, I can go get my father. My mother also has healing powers. They'll both know what to do about you."

OoC: Glad to meet your character, Crystal.

BiC: "Okay..." Dilnos said.

He saw her hurry off. He knew she was right, but the thought of Firoh out there was enough for him to try getting back up. He propped his arm underneath his back, and he tried getting up from there.

No luck. He just fell back onto the ground. He gave out a yelp as he landed.

He tried again and again, with less luck each time. He thought of what Firoh had said, about the place he called Hyrule. He recalled playing a game called "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" within the two years before he joined the group the CIA had talked to him about. He wondered if he meant that Hyrule. If so, he thought, then he was just fighting a guy too obsessed with the game.

He felt his chest. There was a deep wound, like May said, but how much blood had he lost? a liter? Two? More? He felt his Gravity Guantlets--the only things he had with him not destroyed at the moment--cover his whole body. He assumed that it knew that he was losing blood and was trying to help. He wasn't sure, though: he remembered that it had a mind of its own. He wasn't going to dwell on it anyways; it was just something it did, like breathing was something everybody did. He fell asleep.

After maybe an hour or so, he woke up and reached for the Magnif. Or at least, what remained of it. He had the sword ever since he was 13, and the thought that he had lost it was too much. He thought he failed himself.

No, he thought, I didn't fail myself. But if I can't stop Firoh myself, then I will.

He tried getting up one last time, slipped on his own blood, and fell. He then realized that he was officially dead.

No..., Dilnos tried thinking, I'm not dying. I'm just falling into a coma... Still, I can't help it.

He slowly closed his eyes, waiting for a miracle to happen. He heard footsteps coming towards him, and he smiled a bit. A girl he had barely known for a while had gotten help. The last thing he heard before he blacked out was the voice of May, calling her parents over.

OoC: Sorry for all the edits if you've seen the original post. I re-read your post after I posted this and realized I got some details wrong, so I fixed it up. Again, I apologize.

OoC: No problem. This is perfect for Mayula because she's a resident of Hyrule and stuff.

BiC: "Dad! He's over here!" Mayula said as she was returning. "See? Looks like he's out cold again."

"Hmm...so he is," Judo's voice replied. "May, I'm still not happy with your sneaking out like that, but it's fortunate you did this time. This man looks strange."

"Yeah, look at his ears," Kelli, May's mother, pointed out. "They look different from ours." The strange man's ears were indeed not pointed like that of the Hylians, but rounded instead. May just grumbled at her father's words, itching more than ever now to prove that she didn't need all the protection she was getting. She said nothing of the topic, however, so the more important situation could be focused upon.

"Mom, you have healing powers, can't you help?" May asked.

"May, that power only works with my tears, remember?" Kelli reminded her.

"I know, but..." May started. "He needs help somehow!"

Kelli and Judo didn't deny the truth in that sentence, but what could they do? With a wound like that, the man could die at any time, or even already be dead. Further more, they didn't know who this man was or whether or not he would be friend or foe. They can only wait until he awakened again, if possible, to get more information. With that, Judo eventually came to the best decision he could think of as quickly as he possibly could.

"Alright, since there really isn't anything else we can do, Kelli, you and I will return to the castle and discuss the situation with the King," Judo decided. "May, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I want you to stay here and keep an eye on this guy. You're the only one he's seen, and I don't think he'd like it if he woke up to us instead of you."

"Good idea. You can count on me, Dad!" May promised.

"Don't go anywhere else, you hear?" Kelli added.

"Of course," May obeyed. With that, Judo and Kelli left the scene and headed back towards Hyrule Castle. May sat down next to the unconscious man and took note of his appearance. Besides the rounded ears, he was obviously much younger than either Judo or Kelli, and not many years older than herself. Still, the man did not stir, and time kept going by and by. Guessing that the discussion was going to be a rather long one, May continued to wait by the man's side until finally he began to budge. He moved a little more and soon his eyes fluttered open. The first thing he saw was Mayula.

"You...where are your parents?" he asked.

"They're getting more help back home," Mayula replied. "I was told to keep an eye on you since we haven't any idea who you are."

"Oh...my bad. I'm Dilnos. Don't worry...I'm not an enemy," the man said. "In fact, I seek an enemy myself. His name is Firoh. Have you heard of him?"

"Why...no, I haven't. I'm sorry," Mayula replied. "Why?" Dilnos went on to explain how this man called Firoh ordered his family killed and that Dilnos sought to kill him for it. The slash in his chest had been given by Firoh himself, and his sword had been shattered to pieces afterwards. May thought it made little sense, but decided to believe it anyway since the pieces were lying with him on the ground. She continued to listen to Dilnos's story with full attention.

"Then, before I blacked out the first time, I heard him say he'd take over a kingdom called Hyrule with an object called the Golden Star," Dilnos finished. Mayula gasped in fright upon hearing these words.

"H-Hyrule?!" she cried. "That's my home!"

"Huh? Hyrule is...real?" Dilnos asked with surprise.

"Why yes. In fact, we're right outside the kingdom," Mayula replied. "But this man, Firoh...are you sure he said Hyrule?"

"I'm positive."

"Well then, he'll have to go through me first," Mayula bravely replied. "If I can't beat him, then my father surely will! No one has ever matched his sword skills!"

"...Something tells me you're not just any young girl," Dilnos commented with a curious expression. May smiled upon hearing this.

"I certainly am not. I am the daughter of General Judo, the commander of the Royal Knights of Hyrule!" she proudly said. "I was taught by my father himself to use these dual blades I wield."

"Really?" Dilnos replied to the comment made by May. "I got my training done with a friend of mine,"

"Who was he?" May asked.

"Ardnal. He taught me how to use the Magnif in combination with my magic,"

May decided to try finding out more.

"Where did you come from?" she asked.

"I come from a world where magic collides with the modern world. It's a world where one could pick a weapon--gun or sword, staff or magic--and engage in combat at any time. Those who chose two skills instead of one were said to be "foolish". A gang called Monster Squad was created to take care of these "foolish" people. They took out many, and spared few. I am a rebel. Well, sort of. It was my duty to help out those in need while I was looking for Firoh."

"Really?" May replied.

Dilnos said no more lest he faint again, and twice was two too many. He grabbed what remained of the Magnif and took off his sheath. He stuck the sword in carefully and laid it beside him.

"I'll sleep now... I'm going to need it," With that said, he closed his eyes and slept.

"I agree, you do need to rest some more," May said, even though the man was asleep and unable to hear her now. Once her parents returned, she'd definitely give them the information Dilnos had given her, or else Hyrule would face danger once more without warning. Hoping they'd come back soon, Mayula continued to sit there beside the sleeping man, and stare at her surroundings. So far, nothing else of interest had happened at the strange fortress, and things were rather boring. When May was starting to get a little tired from sitting there doing nothing herself, she spotted the figures of Kelli and Judo coming back from the distance.

"Dad, Mom! What did his majesty say?" she wondered.

"He decided that he should speak to the man himself," Judo replied. "...which I see cannot be done, because the man is still out."

"Actually, he woke up, and I got some very important information from him!" Mayula corrected. "You have to hear it! It's about Hyrule!"

"Hyrule? What does he know about it?" Kelli wondered, a confused look on her face. Mayula then repeated everything Dilnos had told her about the man called Firoh, the story behind Dilnos's injury, and the apparent plot to take over Hyrule. At first, neither Judo nor Kelli said anything, but Judo broke the silence seconds later.

"What? Are you sure this man is telling you the truth?" he asked.

"Yes, Dad! The proof is here on the ground. See these pieces? Those were once his sword," Mayula pointed out. "And how many ways do you think someone could get their sword shattered like this?"

"She has a point there, Judo," Kelli agreed.

"I won't deny it. We'll bring the man to the castle anyway so once he awakens, his majesty can speak to him immediately," Judo decided. "You said his name is Dilnos?"

"Uh huh," May confirmed. "Dad, we'll need his help to stop this Firoh fiend, so please listen to him!"

"If our Hyrule is the same one you said he mentioned, then yes, of course," Judo agreed. With that, he walked over to the sleeping man, and carefully picked him up by himself. No help was needed due to Judo's superb physical strength. His muscles had developed very well throughout his years of training even when he had still been rather new to commanding the Royal Knights, allowing him to easily prop Dilnos upon his horse, Duke. The three with Dilnos then started back for Hyrule Castle, wondering what exactly was in store for them now.

BiC: Dilnos was having a nightmare.

He, May, and two other people ran inside a huge room. He assumed it was a royal room. Or at least, it had been. Now the room was looking like something had just changed it into a dungeon. He looked to his right. He saw an entire army, stiff as statues. A closer look told him they had indeed become statues.

"Dilnos..." he heard from in front of him. He turned and looked at Firoh, who was sitting on some sort of throne. He had some kind of look that suggested that he had succeeded in something.

"Dilnos..." Firoh said. He pointed his finger at Dilnos and said some more words he didn't understand. "The power of the six Sages...Give it to me." He pointed to something behind Dilnos's back, and Dilnos followed his gaze. As he turned his head to the right, he saw that Firoh was pointing to a sword on his back. Strange, Dilnos thought, how did the Magnif get fixed? Is this real?

To his own surprise, he pulled out the sword, which was nothing like the Magnif. For one thing, the Magnif required two hands, and the sword he was holding was light enough for one hand.

He rushed to Firoh, screaming a bloody cry as he did so. Firoh raised his hand and said a set of words he still had no idea about. He saw a flash of light come right at him, and--

"Ah!" Dilnos said as he woke up. For a second, he forgot what had happened to him. Then it hit him hard: Firoh, May, the wound, everything flooded back into his memory.

His first reaction was to check his wound. He sat up, which was strange because he swore it hurted everytime he tried sitting up. He looked at his wound. It was bandaged extremely well, and the bandages looked clean.

Cool, he thought.

The next thing to do was to look at his surroundings. It looked like a royal room, so he assumed he was at a castle in Hyrule. well, he thought it was in Hyrule. He was sitting on a rather fluffy bed, and it looked Victorian.

Odd, he thought, I thought Victorian beds were obsolete.

He looked beside him, and he saw that the Magnif wasn't next to him. Where did it go?

He had no time to dwell on its whereabouts, for he heard footsteps coming from outside the room. He watched as he saw four people come in. One had a crown on, so he assumed it was the king. He bowed accordingly. When he stood upright, he saw that the other three were standing next to the king, one of them being May.

What was going on?, he thought.

The king said, "Who are you?"

"Dilnos..." he said nervously. He had never talked to kings before, especially not a king in a land he only knew about by two sources, one being a game he played, and the other being May, the girl who saved his life. He had to thank her later on for that.

The king continued on.

OoC: Crystal, as I don't know much about the king, can you do the conversation, please?

OoC: sweet deal, thanks for letting me in Dilnos! =)

I couldn't believe it. I had managed to find another medieval place here. This one was much larger than the last one I had seen. A white palace shone in the distance a ways up the path from a large town. Off to one side of the town I could see what appeared to be a temple as well. I hope it goes better this time than it did last time I tried entering a town. I really need information... I picked up the pace a little and headed toward the large gate. On my way I activated my shield as a precaution and proceeded toward the bridge.

"Halt creature! Monsters are not welcome here! Take your scaly hide and get out before we are forced to remove you!" Two humans in shining metal armor grasping large halberds barred my way through the gate.

"Please, I beseech you let me enter. I desperately need information on my comrades. Besides would a monster be able to speak so well?" I tried my best to keep my temper in check; the bigotry of humans always bothered me greatly.

"I don't care if you speak 20 different languages! You aren't getting in here!" the guard who spoke before was getting agitated. His companion leaned over and whispered in his ear. "You are right Elan, let us send for General Judo. He will know better what to do with this...thing."

I sighed. This was better than I had hoped, at least they were willing to let someone qualified make the decision regarding my entrance. "I thank you." I leaned against the stone wall and waited as one of the guards ran off, presumably to get this "General Judo."

OoC: ^Wait, I have no idea what character you're using, Demigod. :/

And Dilnos, that was directed to Nick, not you. Sorry.

BiC: "Tell me, Dilnos, according to General Judo and his daughter, you know about our land of Hyrule?" the King started.

"Yes, but only barely," Dilnos replied. "My enemy, a man named Firoh, murdered my family, and the last time I encountered him, he said he was going to take over this kingdom. In a dream I had last night, he demanded that I hand over the power of six Sages. I believe he did indeed refer to your kingdom. I'm sorry, your majesty."

"Hmm..." the King thought. "There is no need for you to apologize, don't worry. If this story is true, and this man called Firoh is as dangerous as he sounds, we'll be ready for him. We have faced our share of evil attempting to rule my kingdom, so this kind of situation is nothing new to us."

"Indeed it is not," Judo added. "Do you know of the H-" A knock came at the door before Judo could finish his sentence. Peeve, the Royal messenger, answered it, and in came one of the knights whom Judo had assigned to guard the front gates due to hearing about Firoh. Judo sighed at the appearance of the soldier right in the middle of an important meeting.

"What now?" he asked. "I'm quite busy at the moment."

"General, sir, we have an intruder at the gate wanting to go in. We don't know why and we've ordered him to remain until you spoke to him, sir," the knight replied.

"Oh for crying out loud..." Judo retorted. "Can't this wait?"

"I don't know, sir."

"Judo, you stay here," another voice, General Yaku of the Royal Guard stepped in. "I'll handle this. Don't worry about a thing."

"Yaku, are you sure?" Judo wondered.

"I'm positive. I'll be right back," Yaku assured. He immediately started out the door. Judo turned his attention to another man near him.

"Conan, go with him in case there's trouble," he ordered.

"Good idea, I'll go right away," Conan, the deputy commander of the Royal Knights replied. He followed Yaku out of the room in an instant.

"Now, as I was saying, do you know of the Hero of Time, Dilnos?" Judo asked.

"I've...heard about him, yes," Dilnos replied. "But again, I don't know much. I believe he sealed away an evil thief named Ganondorf?"

"That's correct," the King replied. "If you'd like to speak to Link, the hero Judo mentioned, then you're welcome to if necessary. I thank you for your time in speaking with us. You may go."

"Your welcome, your majesty. And thank you too." Dilnos left the room, his mind filled with numerous thoughts.

OoC: yeah, I have a lot of NPCs that I associate with Judo and May.

OoC: Okay, Crystal.

BiC: Dilnos walked out onto the fields outside the palace. His head was spinning around, like it was on a spinner. His original thoughts about Hyrule were those of make-believe, like the ones told by children anywhere. Now he was caught up in all of it.

He thought about the dream he had when he was sleeping. What did it all mean? What were the six Sages Firoh had talked about? Where did he fit in all this? Where was Firoh? Then, he remembered that Judo had mentioned something about the Hero of Time. He decided to talk to Link about it, just to get it all straight.

One problem, he realized, Where was Link? He didn't know his schedule, so no luck going to see him.

He sat down under a nearby tree. Where to start?, he asked himself.

His first thought was to eat something. His stomach was growling. He'd feel better with something in his stomach, any kind of food.

Then the thought about the Magnif snuck in. Where was it?

Damn, he thought. He totally forgot to ask the king about where the Magnif's remains were.

He decided on the following actions: earn some money, get something to eat, and find out where Judo is right now.

Problem there, he remembered. How does a person in a completely different world find a job? Even if he knew how, he realized that he wouldn't know what jobs there were.

Then it's final, he concluded. Find Judo.

He saw a guard nearby. "Hmmm...", he hummed.

He got up and walked up to the guard.

"Hey, any idea where Judo is?" Dilnos asked.

"Who?" the guard said. Then, noticing the bandages wrapped around Dilnos's chest, changed his answer to, "Oh, General Judo, I presume?"

"What? No, I'm--never mind. Do you know where I can reach him?"

"Sure," He named a location.

"What?" Dilnos asked.

The guard named the location again.

"Where would that be?"

The guard gave Dilnos directions, which he memorized part of.

"Sorry, can you repeat that?"

Five minutes later, Dilnos bade farewell to the guard and walked to the location he had said. For some reason, while he was looking for the first stop, he saw two guards--General Yaku and Conan, if he remembered right-- escorting a strange creature, almost alien in appearance. This creature had a strange look on it, like it was in the same problem as he was.

"Okay...guess this day can't get any worse," Dilnos said to himself.

He continued walking, and he reached the training grounds an hour later, stomach starving for food.

"Whew," he said. He sat down under a shady tree nearby and fell asleep, tired from all the walking without anything to eat. He got a good minute of rest when he felt himself being shaken.

"Mmmm?" he groaned, opening his eyes. Kneeling next to him was May.

"Tired?" she asked.

"Yeah..." he said.

"Come, Dilnos. My father wants to hear more about you," She got up and started walking. Dilnos got up a second later and followed.

"Where are we going?" he asked. She didn't respond, so he just continued walking behind her, everything he wanted to asked fresh in his mind.

Mayula led Dilnos around the castle to the courtyard where a number of guards patrolled, watching for any strangers. Dilnos decided they looked well-trained and picking a bone with them was never a good idea. Before long, they spotted Judo speaking with two other soldiers nearby another way inside the castle. The strange creature from before was also with them.

"So, you claim to be no threat to us, eh?" Judo could be heard saying.

"For the last time, yes!" the creature responded. "I may not be human, but that doesn't mean I'm a monster! I'm only looking for information on my comrades."

"Well, I don't think you'll find it here, but if what you're saying is true, I'll make a compromise," Judo agreed. "You agree to behave and we'll allow you to wander the kingdom in search of what you're looking for."

"Understood," the creature agreed. "May I go now?"

"Yes," Judo replied. As the creature walked off, Judo quietly turned to Yaku and Conan.

"Hey, have a few of the soldiers keep an eye on him just in case he doesn't keep his word," he said.

"Good idea. I'm not comfortable with trusting this guy at all," Yaku agreed.

"Me neither. Talking monsters are the last thing we need right now," Conan added. With that, Yaku and Conan departed the scene to go about their business. May and Dilnos had just now approached him, wondering what exactly Judo needed Dilnos for. The two halted in front of the noble commander.

"May, you've made good timing," Judo complimented.

"Thanks, Dad," May replied. "I'd like to hear more about Dilnos myself, so can I stay?"

"Sure, I don't see why not," Judo agreed. "Now, Dilnos. I'd like to know a little more about you. I reckon since you'll probably be with us for awhile, I'd help you figure your way around. Come, let's walk around."

"Well, alright," Dilnos agreed. "You sure are generous."

"Hey, it's my job to show new allies how things work. Plus, it's my pleasure," Judo replied. With that, they began their walk around the castle grounds, looking at the scenery around them. Judo brought Dilnos and May to the training fields first and there were a few soldiers already getting in some work outs there.

"All the soldiers train here in the training fields," Judo began. "The castle armory is here as well. Since your sword shattered, you probably need it reforged, right?"

"Well, I--uh, I don't--ugh, what I mean to say is, I don't know if that's possible," Dilnos replied. "There isn't much remaining of the blade, and Firoh had gotten something called the Golden Star from it as I explained to the King. I was originally told to never let the sword break, but I never knew the reason. However, I believe I do now."

"I see. Speaking of that story, you might want to hear about the six Sages you say Firoh was referring to," Judo decided. "They're the guardians of the Sacred Realm, an area separate from our land of Hyrule." Judo continued by saying that the Sacred Realm was guarded by the Temple of Time located in the northeastern part of Hyrule Castle Town. Link used it to travel back and forth through time in order to defeat Ganondorf, thus making him the Hero of Time. Within the Sacred Realm was the Triforce, a source of great power.

"Hmm...I can see why Firoh wants the Sages' powers then," Dilnos replied. "He must want the Triforce, just like Ganondorf!"

Well, this is better treatment than I had thought I would be receiving. I walked around, heading for the exit leading out of the palace. I thought the best course of action would be to head to the town, and see what I could find from the townsfolk. I would be mostly asking around, trying to see if anyone had noticed any strange meteor showers lately or if they had been finding pieces of strange metals laying around in the surrounding countryside. I left the palace, heading down the road toward the town. I was only a couple hundred feet from the door when I my radar pinged, showing three guards that were following me. I smiled a little at this knowledge. It appears that the general is smart at least. I wouldn't really trust me if I was in his shoes either.

I walked until I came to a stand of trees off to the side of the path. I quickly darted into the concealing branches and activated my Active Camouflage when I was out of sight. With my Camo active, I quietly crept out the other side of the trees "Come on, I saw him come in here." I heard the guards rustling around as they went into the copse of trees. "What the? Where did he go? He couldn't of disappeared!" The three of them spun around, looking for me frantically. "Ugh, you," said one guard, pointing at another, "go back and get some more troops, we will look for him in the meantime!" The three of them came tearing out of the copse of trees, all running in different directions. I smiled to myself.

At least I will be able to search on my own for a while, without them breathing down my neck the whole time. With that happy thought in mind, I deactivated the camo and headed toward the town.

OoC: Hmm, I might actually be interested in joining if there's room.

OoC: Demi, Conan doesn't swear. Yaku...well, I've never actually HAD him do it before, but he's the kind of guy who would, so I guess he does. But not Conan.

EDIT: Actually wait...I never said Conan went, so forget that. Still, remember only Yaku swears when making my characters talk. Oh, I also never said Yaku went...plus, he's the one who gives orders. xP
