"Are you sure?" I said giving him a searching look, "Because their are a group of Hollows-called Arrancar-who have removed their masks, and gained power similar to Soul Reapers. Did this 'Soul Reaper' fight with his hands or his sword?"

"He kind of fought with both." I said, rubbing the back of my head, and embarrassment would be the understatement of the decade.

"Not a good sign..." I said closing my eyes, "was the clothes he was wearing similar to mine, only reversed, with a white jacket and pants, and a black inner shirt?"

"Yeah." I said.

I swore loudly, making my pint sized companion jump a little.

"Damn it," I said as I punched a guards who had been trying to sneak up on us, "that was an Arrancar. A Hollow, that has removed its mask, and gained Soul Reaper-like powers. It probably ate the other Hollow after you'd left."

"But, I saw the soul leave."

"An illusion then," I said biting my lip, "the purified soul of a Hollow, remains invisible until it reaches Soul Society. Arrancar have lots of strange powers."

"Crap. I'm sorry Az, I didn't know. It was weird, like I was watching outside of my body, and had no control over myself." I said apologetically and regretfully, wondering if Azerik would do.

"It's fine," I said as I finally started to calm down, "its unfortunate but that's a common occurrence. It wasn't your fault, you didn't know."

"It was like I had no control over myself. Normally, I wouldn't help someone like that. But before I realized he was casting a spell, it was to late. Enough talking about this. How am I supposed to fight this thing?"

"If it's a high level Hollow you don't," I said simply, "if its low level, knock it around as much as you like, just don't kill it."

"Okay then. Let's go." And we took off. "How far are we going?"

"The Hollow's scent is coming from the very back of the temple," I said as we ran, "as soon as we get inside the main building, we'll have to keep track of where we turn so we don't get lost."

"I'm planning on following you, anyway."

"You're likely to get more lost than I will then," I said with a sarcastic smile, "let's go then."

We dashed in through the front door, and took out two 'monks' with wooden staffs. I knelt down and looked at the back of their heads, noticing a tattoo on the back of their necks.

"It's a backwards Japanese character for Peace," I said laughing, "its either a very bad typo, or an intentional joke."

"Oh my." I had seen the symbol before. It was in a cave that lead to..... somewhere. It was a evil thing. I could feel it radiating off him. "Let's get this done quick. I can feel the evil hear."

"I don't doubt it," I said as I stood up again and head down the hallway on our right, "the spiritual smell of this place is starting to make my nose run."

"Unless they attack us leave them be," I said as I kept running, "we can't stop for every person who follows us."

"Okay." I said, making a mental note on that presence. "Hey, why did you not seem surprised about my voice in your head? I usually don't let people know I can do that unless I trust them a lot, or the situation is dire."
