The Forest (Anyone)

OoC: Character link in sig. First try at making a RPG so tell me if there are any mistakes.

BiC: I had just made camp with my light ball and set up my tent in the forest. I was well hidden from the enemy. At least I hoped I was. To a human this would look like a regular camp. I had my cloak at my bedside an dagger under my pillow. I was ready for anything to happen.

OoC: I'll join if you don't mind. I'm using Padme, link in sig. And uh...it sound like your chara's in his tent, right?

BiC:

Padme saw it clear enough, alright, that HUMAN camp in HER forest. She knew well enough that the presence of humans always brought trouble, especially when they went through enough effort to make a camp.

Hmm...perhaps it time Padme teach humans lesson! They think they sooo smart, they think they kill what they want, but no more! Padme began hopping to the invasive camp, but it was not long before she stopped again. What best entrance? Me sneak in and sniff out BAD humans, or just scare away? Such hard decision...

Padme snuck a little closer, just to see how many of the humans she would have to scare off. There were no voices at all, no sounds of movement, just...Padme strained her ears to hear. Yes, the sound of a creature breathing, but that was it.

Ha! Just one human? This be easy! They not even sound big! The brave haschen quietly padded over to the white tent that lay underneath a large oak tree, listening intently for the creature within to move. Finally, when she was next to the wall of the thin sheet of the tent's cloth, she moved right to the spot where the breathing was the loudest.

Ha! Human get biggest scare of life! Padme suddenly moved out of her crouch, standing on the tip top of her big feet and yelling out as loud as she could. "KIAAAAAAAAH! HUMAN DIE! BAD HUMAN, BAD! FACE WRATH OF GREAT PADME! KIAAAAAAAH!" To add more of an effect to her cry, Padme hit the butt of her staff against the ground, crashing the noisy bangles attached to it together. If the forest had been sleeping before, it certainly was awake now...

I heard the cries of the little Haschan and got up. I knew it was trying to scare me away, but I was going to be nice to it. I went around my tent and said, "Hello little one. Would you like a snack? Your name is Padme if I heard right. You may think I am a human, But I am not. I am a nightling. What would you like? I am strictly vegitarien though, so no meat."

Padme stopped her yelling and jabbering immediately, entirely confused by the human's offer. He supposed to run, not be nice! What wrong with him? What nightling anyway?

Trying to maintain what dignity she had left (seeing as Padme had failed spectacularly in her attempt to scare the boy), Padme kept her head high and glared into the eyes of the nightling. "So, you be brave, huh? No eat meat, either...must be GOOD human. Elders tell Padme of this."

Padme quickly turned away to climb up the oak tree, moving onto a branch that allowed her to see the stranger at his eye level (because being talked down to by a stranger was entirely out of the question). "Red Hair, tell Padme why you come to forest. If you not hunting ,what you doing?"

" Hiding. I have been running from the unknown enemy ever since I can remember. I was hoping I could come into this forest to escape them." I then offered her some ginko leaves.

Padme snatched the leaves from the boy, jumping up higher into the tree in case he tried something funny while her back was turned. She sniffed the leaves suspiciously, just to make sure they weren't harmful. There wasn't a Haschen alive that didn't know the trickery of humans.

"Hmm..." Padme licked one leaf delicately, tasting the plant carefully in her mouth. Finally, she stuffed the whole thing in her small mouth, relishing each bite. With great care, she finished off each leaf, licking her paws once she finished. "Not bad."

Padme leaped down onto the branch she had been on before, looking the stranger over carefully. He wasn't holding a weapon of any sort, which seemed rather foolish to Padme, if this boy was really being chased by some enemy. He did look rather nice for a humanish person though, with his heart shaped face and deep green eyes. Still, he looked strangely pale, probably one of the more distinct traits that separated him from a human. Maybe that was why he was so nice.

"Alright, Red Hair, Padme accepts your peace offering. You be allowed to stay. And no worry, I protect from EVIL enemy. Padme very good at fighting EVIL." The strange rabbit spat the word evil with great contempt, as if her experience with it was vicious indeed. The haschen warrior jumped from the branch, over the boy's head, and landed softly on the ground. She walked over to his tent, seating herself at the entrance. "Now, Red Head, you come tell Padme of EVIL enemy."

"Alright then, Padme. Before we go further, I would like you to know that my name is Tarok. And, If you would like, I could go and cook some of my Ginko soup. And as for the enemy, I don't know much. All I know is I have been on the run since I was a child and they captured my father." I was a little hesitent to say that last bit of information, but, seeing as Padme seemed not to be on their side, told it anyway.

Padme immediately jumped up, enraged by the story he told. "EVIL ones capture FATHER? Cowards! Only cowards such things do! Tarok no fear! Padme destroy them ALL!" The yellow creature's fur bristled, and she shook her staff angirly at the empty forest, as if she expected any enemies hiding there to run from her sheer fury.

After a lot of huffing and mixed insults at no one in particular, Padme finally calmed down again, collapsing back on the ground. "Hrumm...Padme think Tarok need help, no? Very honorable quest to protect Tarok. Yes, Padme will help poor Tarok get father back, and bring great honor to whole tribe!"

"Well then. I think we would work well together. But first I think it would be a good idea to show you my weapons." I said, amused by her words but none of it showing in my voice. I then say a few words under my breath, and my cloak and dagger come flying out of the tent. I then show her my dagger and 5 other weapons that my dagger can change into. And I was pretty sure she saw some of my beads lose their black light. I then put on my cloak and hit the sword my dagger was changed iinto at the moment into my mid section. It did not cut my cloak and I said I felt nothing. I then showed her the inside of my tent, Which to a human that stepped in looked like a house. She went out several times to make sure we were in the same place.

"Ah, Tarok know great magic!" In her village, Padme had only seen the mage elders do a small portion of what this nightling boy could do. They could restore wilting flowers, send sparks flying from their paws, but none, not even the head mage himself could even imagine turning a dagger into a sword, or creating a tent that was really a house.

Padme still didn't understand that last one.

"So, if Tarok have such great magic, why run? You not have nuff' beads?" Padme had noticed that his beads lost their black luster with each change his weapon had made, probably loosing their power with each spell. She could faintly remember how the elders said that using magic consumed energy, and that magicians used all sorts of mediums to store and use the energy. Until now, Padme never would have figured out what they had meant by 'medium.'

Bic:I had been following the trail of a rabbit. I was starving and I needed something to eat. As I drew near the scent I heard the rabbit I was following begin to yell. Well that will help disguise my approach I thought. Then I heard a banglestaff. Oh man, It's a Haschen warrior, they're not worth the trouble, I thought, I guess I'm going hungry tonight. I then heard voices and it sounded like the haschen was talking to a nightling. I crept up to listen. As I was creeping close, the rabbit heard me.
"Who be there?" the rabbit exclaimed, "It must be EVIL! KIAAAAH!"
The rabbit jumped towards me, swinging with her banglestaff. As she swung I leaned backwards and grabbed her staff and yanked it out of her hand. I tossed it to the ground and stood on her.
"I'm not trying to hurt you or your friend, silly rabbit," I snarled.

OoC: Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids!

BiC:

Padme scowled and barred her teeth, lowering herself on all four paws as if she were ready to pounce. Disarment in battle meant that one was inadequate with a weapon, and she was not about to be dishonored by some common fox.

"EVIL predator! Face wrath of great Padme!" The small creature grasped the fox's foot and pulled while turning to the side, hitting it onto the ground. She barred her teeth and pounced on it, sending both of them tumbling onto the ground. There was quite an exchange of punches and growls until Padme finally managed to get the creature in a headlock and started trying to bite the fox's ear off.

Bic: *sigh* "Don't say I didn't warn you rabbit, I'm not trying to hurt you."
I snarled and let my claws out. I grabbed Padme and flipped her over. We exchanged many blows but the rabbit got the worst of it. Eventually I got tired of this senseless fighting and held her up in the air with magic.

I grabbed Padme and the fox by the back of the necks. " That's enough you two." Then I turned to Padme and said, " Really Padme? This is the way the fox has to live. He has to eat something. So I went into my tent, still holding the two of them. Padme did not put up a fight, knowing I would not hurt her. But the fox started wrigling and tried to bight my fingers. But I had used another one of my beads to mak my bead longer than my arms. I then got some of my Ginko pie and handed it to the fox.

"meh"

Padme was not happy about the turn of events. She hated predators, and she did not like being man handled. "Stupid fox, running and attacking Padme!" She growled and barred her teeth at the orange furred animal, ready to pounce on him should he make any suspicious movements."If not for boy, I KILL you! Teach BAD predator lesson!"

"meh"

"Well Padme, you had been attacking him first and he had used magic on you to hold you in the air. Oh and fox, before you try to use one of your mind games on me, I could turn your brain into a pulp." I said, the warning tone in my voice. I then offered him some ginko pie.

"So you think" I cast out with my mental voice towards the nightling, "Let's see what happens when I get snagged on your cloak, hmm?"

Padme sighed deeply and shook her head. Tarok just didn't get it. "In case you not notice, this creature a FOX." She practically spit the last word to show her contempt. "Who know how many innocent creatures killed to please EVIL predator!"

The angry warrior narrowed her eyes back on the fox, who still hadn't touched the food before him. "See how UNGRATEFUL fox is? No respect, don't deserve respect!" Padme kept her gaze fixated on the creature, just to make sure that he didn't do anything to the boy while her back was turned.
