Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

Mirren stood in the forest. He was in his normal clothes, and he had the Goddesses' Sword facing down. He held it at the hilt, and stared out into the distance with narrow, serious eyes. It was dark out, and very windy. The wind blew his dirty blonde hair to the right, and the moon stretched out of the clouds and shined over the dark woods. "Tonight Caffran..........we finished what we started so long ago......." he said to himself.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

*Caffran drops out of a tree about 20 ft in front of Mirren*

So it finishes. I don't see a point to death in a friendly battle, but I hope you can heal yourself. I don't want to have to do it for you.

*Pulls out sword, then looks at it* Maybe I should name this thing.

*readies himself for battle, which involves adjusting his pants* Shall we begin then?

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

Mirren pulled up the Goddesses' Sword, and grasped it with both hands. He got in a battle position, and looked at Caffran. "Don't worry, I have a few methods to heal myself, I'll be fine. And of course this isn't a fight to the death, we're still friends after all. Caffran smirked.

"I expected something like that to come from you....." Mirren smirked back, but then looked serious.

"I will take the first move......." Mirren then lunged at Caffran with a yell of fury, and did a slash.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

Caffran jumps aside, while doing so, attempting to kick Mirren as he swings, but he misses the kick.
"Dang" can be heard in mid-jump as caffran lands next to Mirren and jabs forward at him.

ooc:i suppose we can do this from entirely 3rd-person, might be easier, but I think it's fun to talk like i'm Caffran.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

ooc: I don't care, I've learned to do it and like it in third person.

ic: Mirren was just able to dodge the shot, and went for his own jab of his blade. Caffran blocked it with ease, and kicked Mirren in the stomach. The boy grunted from the pain, and fell to his knees as he clutched his throbbing chest. Caffran decided to take advantage of the situation, and went for a vertical slash. At the last second Mirren held the Goddesses' Sword up horizontally, and blocked the attack. They grappled, and Mirren got up on his feet. Even though Caffran was a little smaller, he began to overpower Mirren. But that wouldn't matter, because Mirren in a flash pulled his sword back, and Caffran stumbled forward. Mirren grasped the Goddesses' Sword with both hands tightly, and did a slash on Caffran's left cheek. He also grunted from the pain, and was knocked sideways. He smashed into the ground, and clutched his cheek as he groaned in pain. His face stung, and he removed his hand. It was covered in blood. There was a gash on his face, and Mirren smirked.

"You may've gotten the first blow in.........but I drew first blood............." he stated.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

ooc: third person it is. umm...one quick thought. Caffran usually doesn't parry, he avoids, but hmm same size person, i guess parrying is doable...

bic: Caffran recovers from his fall by springing off the ground into a backflip away from Mirren. As he lands, he pulls out his bow, and lets fly a glowing blue arrow, which Mirren manages to deflect with his sword. It lands a few feet away, and creates a block of ice. Caffran then pulls out his broadsword again, and leaps at Mirren. Mirren manages to stop the blade, but he is knocked to the ground. Caffran lands in front of him.

"Drawing blood isn't the only way to win things, friend," he says with a grim smile.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

Mirren grinned back. "Never said it was......" He then kicked Caffran's leg, and made him stumble forward. On his way down, Mirren quickly grabbed the Goddesses' Sword and slashed him across the face. Caffran was knocked sideways, and rolled after he hit the ground. As Mirren slowly lifted himself up, Caffran groaned from the pain as he clutched his bleeding cheek.

ooc: That's a move I took right out from the epilogue of Link's Little Brother: Mirren's Final Battle!!

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

ooc: YAY! the forums have returned!!!!! my summer vacation has entertainment again!

bic: "Ow man! will you quit with the face?" Caffran rolls to his feet (yes, that is possible) and lunges at Mirren while he is still recovering. Mirren manages to deflect the blade, but it still gives him a nasty cut on his left side. Caffran spins himself and his sword as he passes, and grazes Mirren's left arm. He stops and faces Mirren, with his sword ready. "Got tired of being the only one bleedin'."

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

Mirren glanced at his bleeding arm. The attack had cut right through his green turtleneck and ripped his skin wide open. The crimson blood began to stain the green on his turtleneck. He smirked. "I expected something like that to come from you....." Mirren the suddenly did a jumping kick and smacked Caffran in the face. The Kokiri grunted in pain, and was knocked back from the blow.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

Caffran reels back, but manages to not fall over. He touches his upper lip, and looks at his hand, which has more fresh blood on it. "Will you quit trying to break my nose off? It's annoying! And it's starting to give me a headache!"

Mirren smirks.

Caffran then grabs his kokiri sword with one had (keeping his broadsword in the other) and hurls it straight at Mirren, who is obviously shocked by the sudden action, but still manages to move sideways slightly. The sword sticks into a tree just behind him with a loud THUD. As Mirren was moving to dodge the flying sword, Caffran swept forward holding his broadsword to attack once more.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

The blade came flying at Mirren, but he stood as if a gentle breeze was coming at him. It got closer and closer, until he could actually see his reflection on the blade. At the very last second, he cocked his head, and the blade flew right by only centimeters from his face. Caffran was thunderstruck. Mirren gave him a serious, stern look. "That is not that kind of attack you used to be able to do........get tough my old friend......" Mirren then in one swift motion did a cut across Caffran's chest, and slice his skin wide open as the Goddesses' Sword ripped through him and made him bleed badly.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

ooc: actually, If you read my post, it had already missed, and I was moving, but whatever. It's more of a shock move than anything else.

bic: Caffran staggers a bit. "Jeez man, now I'm gonna have to replace this tunic..." He then gathers the strength he has available to him and does a mighty swing right accross Mirren's midriff. Mirren staggers back cluching his stomach.

"Ok, now we both have nasty wounds to the torso..." Caffran spits a bit of blood onto the ground.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

Mirren looked at his crimsoned hand. He knew his turtleneck was torn in several places, and he needed something different now. He looked up at Caffran. Instead of saying anything, he simply snapped his fingers Slowly his battle armor appeared on him, and Caffran stodd watching in awe of the great armor given to Mirren by the Sages.

ooc: You already know what it consists of so I won't repeat anything from my fic.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

"Oh, boy... Healing might be a good idea now... I wouldn't normally consider it fair...but you just got your freaky armor...and my armor currently consists of a ripped tunic and some blood."

Caffran then puts both hands on his chest. His hands begin to glow, and the wound closes. He then looks to his sword stuck in a tree, and holds his hand out. The sword comes to his hand, and he takes his shield off his back with the other hand. The shield reflects a patch of light onto mirren, whose armor shimmers in the light.

"I have not yet begun to fight."

ooc: I'm thinkin shield might be a good Idea at this point, don't you? Oh, and the heal thing...I don't intend on doing that again this match, because it's not all that fair.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

ooc: I do believe that I was giving you first move there, but OK... Also, with that armor, it doesn't really matter if you healed or not. you've got that armor! I'm not sure what I can do against that stuff...

bic: Caffran charges at Mirren, and insted of stabbing with his sword, he bashes Mirren with his shield, which stuns him. He then spins left and attempts to slash Mirren, but all it does is leave a slight mark on his armor. Caffran jumps, does a backflip in which he kicks mirren, using him as a springboard to land about 10 feet away.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

Mirren staggered back from the kicks. His head was hung back due to being hit there, and he suddenly stopped. Caffran smirked and waited for him to collaspe, but instead something different happened. Mirren pulled his head up, and glared at Caffran through narrow eyes. Caffran gasped at the fact Mirren showed no expression of pain whatsoever, and slowly backed off. Mirren pointed the Goddesses' Sword at him, and it glowed blue. He finally shot a beam of energy from it, and it soared straight into Caffran; sending him smashing into a huge birch tree.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

Caffran doesn't move for a moment. Mirren watches closely, wary of some trick Caffran might pull. A minute passes. Nothing happens. Another minute. Still silence. Mirren decides to go inspect his obvious victory. As soon as he takes a single step towards the tree, Caffran suddenly kicks against the tree behind him, launching him at Mirren. Mirren is shocked slightly, but puts up his sword to defend. As Caffran slings through the air, he suddenly drops his sword, and pulls out his bow. Just as he is about to hit Mirren, he fires an arrow directly into his chest, then spins himself to avoid colliding. The arrow doesn't penetrate the armor, but Mirren notices that his body is suddenly vary cold. Looking down, he sees that his armor has frozen.

"Chill, man," Caffran says as he retreives his sword.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

Mirren was shocked. He began to shiver, and he knew he was gonna get some bad frost bite from this. He smirked though, and reached into his pocket. "Here dude, you look hot also...." he whispered. Caffran cocked an eyebrow, and Mirren suddenly pulled out the Ice Diamond. With one scream, he shot a beam of ice at Caffran, and froze the Kokiri. Mirren grinned. "Hope yuou like the feel of hypothermia....." Mirren then took out the Fire Diamond, and melted the ice around him to be free.

Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued)

Mirren casually thawed out his armor. He then directed his attention to his frozen opponent. Before he can do anything, the ice around Caffran begins to vibrate. Mirren scowls. suddenly, the ice around Caffran shatters, and the shards all shoot towards mirren. At that same instant, a storm appears overhead, and hail begins to fall from the sky. The hail seems to avoid Caffran.
