Re: Caffran vs. Mirren (continued) ooc: I don't care, I've learned to do it and like it in third person.
ic: Mirren was just able to dodge the shot, and went for his own jab of his blade. Caffran blocked it with ease, and kicked Mirren in the stomach. The boy grunted from the pain, and fell to his knees as he clutched his throbbing chest. Caffran decided to take advantage of the situation, and went for a vertical slash. At the last second Mirren held the Goddesses' Sword up horizontally, and blocked the attack. They grappled, and Mirren got up on his feet. Even though Caffran was a little smaller, he began to overpower Mirren. But that wouldn't matter, because Mirren in a flash pulled his sword back, and Caffran stumbled forward. Mirren grasped the Goddesses' Sword with both hands tightly, and did a slash on Caffran's left cheek. He also grunted from the pain, and was knocked sideways. He smashed into the ground, and clutched his cheek as he groaned in pain. His face stung, and he removed his hand. It was covered in blood. There was a gash on his face, and Mirren smirked.
"You may've gotten the first blow in.........but I drew first blood............." he stated.
