The True Evil (Four others)

OOC: Basic rules anyone can join, no killing each others characters without permission and that sort of stuff. I’ll be using my character esdon quicksword (link in sig).

Esdon gazed across the sands noting but sand for miles on end in every direction. Esdon looked down at the strangely golden sand and then up at the suns that seemed impossible bright. Any normal man wouldn’t be able to travel in such a wasteland but esdon wasn’t normal he was a paladin who had heat immunities and could travel for days without a drop of water. Esdon continued his walk slowly and surely for he didn’t want to wake any beasts that dwell in this place of evil. Esdon knew the desert was evil the moment he had set foot in it and the further he went the more this feeling of evil grew for Esdon like any other creature felt it like a doom that you knew was coming but you didn’t know where or when it will come from. Esdon knew great evil and had also destroyed it but this this was something different something more powerful something that could change everything.

Esdon wandered further and then he spotted a large cloud floating over the desert but this cloud was different it was stationary and unmoving but it was also pulsing with purple electricity and seemed to swell each time the electricity moved across it’s surface. Esdon knew by the clouds position that it was above something or hiding something but only great evil could cause something like this but he couldn’t see what the cloud was above or hiding because he could only see the top of it because of a very large sand dune which was at least 60m high. Esdon signed and started to climb while keeping an eye out for Stri his eagle companion who had left earlier to scout ahead but hadn’t returned yet. Esdon smiled as he thought of her swooping down on her pray and showing no mercy. This thought strayed from his mind as he made it to the top of the sand dune and cruelled across the ground and looked at the land before him.

Esdon had never seen a place like this before the landed was gleaming and seemed to be made of glass the glare made Esdon shield his eyes so he could see more of the land bellow. By the look of it a large wave of heat had hit this place leaving the few trees scorched and the sand that wasn’t glass black as soot and in the middle of this place Esdon spotted a massive tower that was surrounded by the cloud. Esdon couldn’t see the tower clearly because of the cloud but he could tell that it was made of some black stone. Esdon decided to take a closer look but when he looked down he realised why the sand dune he was on was so high for it was the edge of a crater which in the centre was the tower. Then as if the structure had lookouts that had spotted him the cloud changed and fired a large purple orb that hit the sand just beneath him causing him to be sent flying. Esdon was use to flying but no where near this fast and of course he is normally propelled by his wings, Esdon turned in the air so he could see the ground and was surprised to see it rushing at him this fast but as he tried to materialise his wings he hit the ground and was knocked out instantly. Esdon awoke very dizzy and to his surprise he saw a shadow hanging over him but he couldn’t make them out because his vision hadn’t fully retuned.

OOC: If you didn’t realise the shadow is another person’s character. Also sorry about the length I wanted to set a story.

Demyx looked down at the dazed man at his feet.

What kind of fool just strolls through another person's property? He wondered, angry but with a hint of sarcasm and amusement which he almost didn't notice.

He considered boiling this idiot's blood to teach him a lesson, but restrained as the man came to. For a fleeting moment, their eyes met, but Demyx brought his fist down upon his face before he could react. He dusted off his hands and turned back towards the tower of which he was now the owner. As he walked back towards it, his thoughts travelled to his last journey. He had come to this desert seeking answers, and had invaded the tower where one of his old mentors, Gedrik, a now-retired member of the Dark Alliance, lived. He had killed Gedrik and his forces, shadow creatures which pledged allegiance to power and power alone, were now under his control. His laughter echoed throughout the barren sands as he remembered the sweet sound of Gedrik's pleas for mercy. How he had enjoyed it as they were cut short with one swift stroke of his blade...

...He failed to notice, in his uncommonly pleased state, the flowers rising out of the sands behind him as they fed off of the happiness that he was projecting through the air - without actually realising that he was doing it...

OOC: I can’t find your character and your character link doesn’t work. Have you posted your character on the character lists?

BIC: Esdon felt dizzy after the punch but its true intension of knocking Esdon out was unsuccessful. His nose felt like a brick had just hit it and he could feel a trail of blood sliding slowly down his face but the head ache the punch had given him was what was getting to him, to Esdon it felt like thousands of hot arrows were flying around inside his head. Esdon was capable of surviving injuries but head aches really got to him they messed up his magical focus and slowed him down all in all Esdon thought of head aches as an obstacle, a rather annoying one. Esdon opened one of his eyes a crack to watch a flower grow rather fast over his face the flower was noting more than a daisy and looked rather terrible with a long stork. Esdon turned his head slightly and spotted a man standing there, Esdon was surprised by the fact that he didn’t realise Esdon was still awake but hay he probably thought he was a normal human. Esdon waited a while longer as his head ache started to disappear, while Esdon was waiting he looked around his surroundings to spot anything that could be towards his advantage but he spotted things that weren’t. Esdon was inside the basin about halfway between were he was and the tower but were he was the ground was almost completely made of glass which wasn’t to his advantage. Esdon thought of ways around this and decided to sprout his wings and stay air born.

Esdon did a deal of waiting in silence and stillness but the thing was his opponent had barely moved and seemed to be in deep thought. Esdon was ready to fight and decided to end this fight fast. He raised his hand towards the sun that was still high in the sky and started absorbing the light, instantly Esdon felt stronger and faster and any injury’s he had from his landing he healed at the same time as he absorbed the energy. Esdon knew his opponent will be surprised. Esdon brought his hand down and put it flat on the ground, at the same time he opened the blades in his boots and gloves, he didn’t want this to be a long fight so a silent fast kill would do nicely. Then in one movement Esdon pushed off the ground and span so he was the right way up and facing his opponent ready to attack. Then Esdon pushed off the ground at the man and sliced the mans left arm and leg with his blades before materialising his wings and flying above the man pointing his know blood covered glove blades at him. The man had doubled over form the surprise of the injuries but he was still able to fight. Esdon smiled even that ability will be beyond him once I’m finished with him.

OoC: I don't know why it doesn't work... I'll get on it soon!

BiC: Demyx recovered from the blow quickly and held his sword and shield ready as the now winged man came at him again. He waited until the man was almost upon him, and then he jumped over him, slicing him along his back as he did so. The man fell to the ground and Demyx kicked him repeatedly each time he tried to get up, until he did not rise again. He wasn't dead, Demyx knew this, but he wasn't going anywhere for at least a few minutes. Demyx ran towards the tower. Demyx was arrogant, not stupid. He knew when not to take risks.There was no point in waiting for this suprisingly adept fighter to come at him again. He knew that at least if he was at the tower he could borrow from it's power and use the Shadow Guards to wear him down a little. That would work just fine.

Esdon rolled onto his side in time to see the man running off towards the tower.

"Damn it", Esdon as he healed his ribs" what knid of man kicks his oppoent when hes down."Esdon started to get up but slipped because of the glass like groung he was on.

"I hate oppoents that show no honour"Esdon said angerily to the air" I should have blasted him in the back with a light spell instead of trying to cut his side and cause him to surrender. Esdon spread his wings out and flapped hard so he got off the ground and just hovered there watching the man come closer to the tower Esdon started to hover after the man but was unprepared for the fact that the moment the man walked in the door anouther bolt fired from the cloud above the tower hitting Esdon square in the chest causing him to fly backwards away from the tower.Esdon changed the direction he was facing to see him heading straight for the edge of the crator. Esdon put his hands over his head as he smashed straight trought and started skimming across the sands. Esdon then spotted someone infront of him and braced for impact again. The collision wasn't as bad because of the fact that he had lost his speed but the fact that the two of them had rolled across the ground he who ever it was ended up on top of him as Esdon yet again black out was what rather anoyed him.

OOC: I typed this one in so that anouther character can join.

Demyx turned as he heard the collision. This new figure had guts. He had knocked out the other one again, but had not even flinched. Demyx laughed out loud and quickened his pace. He could easily take both of them out once he was back at the tower.

In a few minutes he was there, and he slowed down. He stood before the huge doors and caleld out in a loud, booming voice to the Shadow creatures in their language, which he had picked up on one of his journeys. Instantly the door creaked open and he walked inside. He headed throughout the tower, barking orders at those he saw. He would kill the two behind him before they could come after him. It would be so easy! His laughter echoed throughout the tower and he sat in his throne at the highest point of the tower so that he could watch the Shadow Guards carrying out his orders.

OOC: is it OK if i join my character is in my sig......

BiC: "Danmit, what was that for?"asked the figure as he stood up. "All i was doing was tending my wounds when i heard a crash and then well here I am, I suppose Night transported me at night when he was strongest... I wonder why?"

It was then that he sees the Strange Winged man that he had landed upon after the collision.

"Hey you there with the wings you alive? That was a Nasty fall. Here let me tend your wounds."

The figure pulls out a blade and sends the flat side of the sharp sword down over the winged mans wounds they instantly Meld together leaving not a scar or a bruise.

"There ya go. Now, what attacked ya?"

Esdon Hadn't seen a dwarfin hislifeso seing a little man standing there in full dragonscale armour and weilding a massive axe come tohis surprise. Esdon keeped his sword raised as he cheaked the mans healing work, then he lowered it after confirming it was only a healing spell and no curses were cast at the same time.

"Sorry about that", Esdon said calmly. But before hecould continue the dwarf spoke.

"Are you saying sorry for hitting me or for raising your weapon", the dwarf said smiling. Esdon smiled back and made his wings retrack into his back at this the dwarf gasped and took a step back.

"I'm sorry for raising my weapon for I am cauisous and I see you thought the wings were natural not magiclly made",Esdon said approaching the dwarf and pattinghim on the shoulder before sitting down infront of him so the dwarf didn't have to look up at him before he continued."I am Esdon quicksword more commenly knowen by the foes I fight and the men I fight as the Hunter. The reason i'm here is to search out what has caused many dissappearaces in this area and well the thing that has casued the dissapperances hit me." The Dwarf nodded and seemed surprised but quickly recovered and spoke.

"What was this thing that hit you", the dwarf said looking puzzled. Esdon sighed and spoke.

"It's a tower built by creatures of shadow and it's top is surround by a dark magic cloud that at the master of the towers wish can fire dark magic bolts of eletricity.Esdon sighed again and started to think how he could get to the tower without being hit again. But he was interupted by the dwarf.

"Well if you need help I can supply", the dwarf said smiling boldly" if you couldn't bet this tower by yourself I'll help."Esdon smiled back.

"Well I was waitingfor you to say that" Esdon stood up and thought carfully before asking the dwarf."What ddirection did I come from?"

"That way I beleive" he said pointing east.

"Well then my new Dwarfish friend lets go" Esdon set off at a jog with the dwarf close behind' with this guys help we could surely bet this thing Esdon thought.

"Ummmm you look like Icarius.Can you fly?" asked the dwarf. "Oh by the way my name is Faite I think im going to need something real fast. Wait for a minute please?"Faite rummeges through his backpack till he pulls out a golden figureen in the shape of a wolf with two moons on the side of his head."Come to me Danzi!"Faite chanted over and over untill it seemed all he could say was that phrase.All of a sudden a black mist rose up and around the figureen. Where the figure was now Stood a three foot Spirit that looked just like The statuette. [COLOR="red"]"OK we can go now!"

BIC: Esdon now saw the dwarf Faite was capable of keeping up even if he was jogging normally which was useful since Esdon's jogging pace was even to that of a wolf sprinting hard out. As Esdon speed down anouther dune he heard Faite follow suit. Esdon smiled as he spotted a huge Sand dune infront of him and new he was here but he came at a time when his power was weakest for the sun was notting more than a section of light pointing towards the sky leaving the ground he now stood on dark. Esdon started to climb the dune then stopped and turned around in time for Faite to hit him causing them both to started rolling down the dune. Esdon who was the first one down was happy that he didn't get hurt in anyway but as always lucky isn't one of the things Esdon is, the dwarf axe and all landed on him hard causing him to sink slightly further into the sand.

"Why did you stop", Faite said form on top of Esdon.

"MUF FAA DA", Esdon mumbled.

"What." Esdon lifted his head when he heard and spat out the sand in his mouth.

"GET OFF ME!!!!", Esdon yelled as he spruted his wings on purpose causing the dwarf to fall of him, but not without him grabbing a few feathers from Esdons wings."Owwww why did you pull my feathers out", Esdon yelled again.

"Well why did you stop" Faith replied.

"Because", said Esdon standing up" we need a plan and a good one plus my powers are weakened at night for I draw energy from the sun."

"So your saying we camp here and plan for an attack in the morning", the Dwarf said shacking some sand out of his armour.

"Well you hit the nail on the head", said Esdon while pulling out some broken sticks and trowing them on the ground. As Esdon clicked his fingers the dwarf pulled out a tinderbox but Esdon fired a beam of light at the sticks causing them to intsatly light like they had been burning for ages.

OOC:my posts are short because i dont use other characters people so i have to wait for that person to give that character an action im going to TRY to make a post with your toon in it.Oh and you put Faith when you made me say

Oh and the magical fire Faite speaks of is in a story im writing...its only three pages though and im not sure where to post it here or in writing.

Faite, even though he was wary of the magicaly made fire, was delighted to have some warmth. His last few nights had been cold and uncomfortable. He sat with his toes nearly in the fire trying to get some of his magical fires back. For he had lost it in a battle he had just before he had been mysteriously teleported to this wonderous place.

"Why do you put your feet in the fire when I can feel the flames from here?" asked Esdon, genuinly curious about why Faite had his feet practicaly in the fire.

"I am trying to get my magical fire back. I have lost it in a battle I had with some orcs and goblins.... I can only gain it again by being as close to fire as I can and praying to my god,Night."said Faite, now begining to arise from his seated position.


"Ahhh so this dwarf has some powers of his own. I wonder what they might be" Esdon thought now coming closer to Faite.

"Ok now I can dismiss Danzi back to the Material Plane. Hey,Esdon you might want to back up."

"Danzi, you are dismissed my fire." Faite said only one time.

The moon spirit walked in circles around his statuett now placed on the ground about ten feet away from Esdon ,but close enough so that Esdon could still see that the dwarf was in controll of this unique beast.

"OK now its time to get some rest. Tommorow we head on!"

OOC: post it in writing.

Esdon signed for he'd been thinking of a way to get to the tower since dawn and it was getting light by the minute. So far the only ideas esdon had come up with is try and make a run at the tower or for him to pick up fatie and fly them both there. Esdon wasn't liking either of these ideas for the tower will surely fire before they reach it and it's damn hard to dodge lightning Esdon fought as a smile crossed his face.Well I guess flying will give us the best chance and since it's light now I'll be at full power so I can put my shield up while flying, at this Esdon pulled the necklass he always wore out of his shirt and looked at it. To the untrained eye it just looked like a peace of jewellery but it had a magical spell cast on it so the wearer can create a very powerful shield at will. But the main reason Esdon pulled it out was to remeber his dead parents for esdon lost them before he even got to know them. Esdon sighed deeply then he spotted Fatie was waking up.

"Your up sleeply head", Esdon said smiling at him as he put his necklass back into his shirt.

"Weeeelllll your up early", faite said while yawning.

"Well I have a plan and you might not like it", Esdon said while perposlly making his vocie sound a little evil.

"Whats that", Fatie responded.

"Well I'm gona pick us both up then put a shield roung us then fly at the tower at full speed while zig zagging to hopfully avoid bein hit by the lightning", Esdon spoke this in a way that anyone who didn't know him would think he's evil just by hearing him say it.

OoC: Lord of Hunters... I hope i'm not being rude but... could you try to fix up your punctuation a little bit? It makes it a bit difficult to read!

BiC: Demyx watched the fools far below him. The tall one had been pacing around for quite some time now, and the short one had slept for most of the time. However, now it seemed as though they were going to act. The tall one grabbed hold of the short one and produced what looked like a shield around the two of them. He then jumped into their air and flew towards the tower. Immediately, the Shadow Guards started firing upon them, but their attacks missed, as the two of them quickly dodged the lightning, and continued to move in a zig-zag pattern for quite some time. They made good progress, but Demyx had other ideas.

He barked an order to the Shadow Guards just below his vantage point, instructing them to deploy their fast-moving, heat-seeking shadow-missles. Demyx had to give the two of them credit - they were dodging them quite well -, but it did not take long for them to get hit by the missles as they were caught unawares by their homing capabilities. They fell slightly, but did not give up. They were relentless. That was good. Demyx might still be able to use them later.

They were hit a number of times when their shield began to falter. After about the tenth barrge of missiles, it broke entirely, and with one final missile they were sent falling...falling...right to the foot of the tower, where the security could not reach them. Demyx laughed out loud. So, in the end, it appeared as though they had gotten what they had wanted.

How ironic. He thought, a slight smile creeping aross his face. One of the Shadow Guards called out to him in his hissing tongue.

"Shall we kill the intruders?" It asked, obviously hoping that the answer would be 'yes'. However, Demyx shook his head.

"No." He decided, "Let them come to me. I want to test their strength before I enlist their help."

It seemd to take forever to reach the tower where Faite could have some fun....even with all the zig-zaging he wasnt worried.He presumed the shield was impossible to break...untill it broke..."Danmit....what broke the sheild?"
Said Faite,for he couldnt see the shadow missiles heading for them so he was caught completly caught unawares when he saw the large shadows flying at them."Hmmmmm maybe i can try to cut one of those missiles....thought Faite."Hey let me get closer to one of those shadow things....im going to send a fireball at it to see if i can destroy it!"

"Why? It's a shadow missile!"Esdon asked.

"I know....My fire ball is made up of LIGHT! Light beats shadow!"

"Why cant you do it from here? " said Esdon,pondering what the dwarf was planning on doing.

"It's to far! My fire ball isnt going to make it! I havent had it charged up enough!"

"How about now?" asked Esdon flying closer to a shadow missile.

"PERFECT!" Faite shouted as he prepared to launch a fire ball at a close flying Shadow missile. It hit home on the missile directly in the center, boring a hole straight through it. Sparks flew as the light from the fire ball hit in and in a fierce roar
the shadow missile was destroyed. But another one hit Faite and Esdon and made them fall to the ground.
"Danmit....I should have known that was gonna happen..."Faite said louder than nessesary because his ears were ringing from the roar of the explosion.
" Ok now....how do we get into this tower"

OOC: sorry about my writting I did that one in a hurry.

BIC: Esdon gasped as he rolled over and then looked down at his chest and rolled his eyes in anoyance for there was a scorched hole in his chest about the size of a fist. Esdon signed and started to get up and immeditly spotted Fatie.

"You ok my dwarfish friend", Esdon said with a large grin. But as the dwarf got up he opened his mouth to say something but stopped and starred at Esdons chest.

"You should be asking yourself that", he said in a worried tone.

"What this", Esdon said Sticking his own arm throught the hole and quickly removing it "I've gotten worse from a rabbit."(Which was a true statement for in the desert were Esdon roomed when he was younger there were gaint man eating rabbbit) Fatie got up and started to make for Esdon but Esdon raised his hand to stop him then he brought his hand over the wound and the injury started to heal up like notting was wrong then his clothing regrew and knitted itself back up like it was being healled too.

"There my works a bit faster and it repairs clothing too", Esdon smiled before looking up at the gaint black tower looming before them.

"Wow I didn't think it was that high", Said fatie in ow. But Esdon simply shock his head before speaking.

"I'm not climbing the side of this thing for it must be at least 1000 metres tall", Esdon spoke angerly then walked towards the tower a few steps then stopped and turned to Fatie with a wicked smile" I don't know about you my little friend but I'm taking the stairs", Esdon then raised his hand so his palm was facing the wall of the tower. Then Esdon focused which caused a large pentical to appear lying aganist his hand. The moment this appered a tiny speck of light appeared just infront of Esdons hand and started getting bigger until in was about the size of a fist.

"What's that", said fatie in a worried tone.

"That", said Esdon as the pentical faded leaving just the orb "is an orb of pure light magic and this magic is goning to get us inside the tower". At this Esdon turned to the wall and released the orb with a singal thought which hit the tower in less than a second after lauch and blew up. Esdon was on his friend in a moment as the time freeze kicked in allowing him to get away from the blast. Esdon flew straight up as the bomb blew leaving notting but destuction. The next thing the dwarf new he was diving back down at a massive slowly dissappearing orb of light that covered a large section of the norhten base of the tower and the ground.

"What the hell", the dwarf said as they landed inside the tower but the dwarf wasn't focused on the tower oh no he was focused on the massive crater and the massive section of tower that was just wipped clean out of exsistance.

OoC: Okay, then, Jeaulm. I will!

BiC: Demyx heard the explosion before he felt the tower shake.

One of the Shadow Guards, a commander, called out to him in its hissing language.

"What do we do, master?" It asked, worried.

"We will do nothing." Demyx replied, "Let them come to us."

"But Master!" The Guard replied, "They're killing us! We cannot keep respawning new Shadow Guards if our collective power is too weak! Each time one of us is killed, our power is weakened, and it is weakened even moreso each time we tap into it to recreate a Shadow Guard! We cannot go on like this for much longer!"

Demyx had not counted on this.

"Very well, then." He scowled, "Bring them to me."

Within a few minutes, the two intruders were standing before him. The short one was struggling against the two Guards which held him in their strong grip. The other one was standing quietly and patiently. Demyx decided to address the small one first.

"You there!" He barked, pointing at the dwarf, "Come forward!"

The dwarf spat at the floor near Demyx's feet, "Make me!" He growled, clenching his teeth in anger.

"Very well." Demyx replied. He was going to enjoy this!

His gaze bore down upon the dwarf, until he could grip onto his aura with his mental probe. With it in his grasp, he commanded it to give him control of all of the dwarf's bodily functions. When he had done this, he violently forced the dwarf to walk towards him. Regardless of how great he struggled, the dwarf could not regain control. When the dwarf stood before him, Demyx commanded his body to kneel before him. His knees hit the ground with a bone-shattering thud. The tall one cried out, but still did nothing. He was smart not to try to resist.

"Now..." Demyx growled, "Are you going to do what I tell you, or are you going to fight?"

The dwarf tried his hardest to resist Demyx, but to no avail. Each time the dwarf tried to stand of his own accord, Demyx brought him crashikng down to the floor again, each time more violently than the last. Soon he was bruised and bloodied all over, and stopped struggling.

"There." Demyx said, as though talking to a small child, "Good boy! That wasn't so hard, now was it?"

The dwarf said nothing, but that suited Demyx just fine. He continued, commanding the full attention of all present in the room.

"The reason I have spared your lives thus far is simple." He admitted, "I need your help. I need strong warriors to help me take down my enemies, and to help me find answers."

His mouth pricked up into a smile, "What do you say?"

The dwarf, who had been silent for a while - Demyx had thought him unconscious, laughed out loud, "Never!"

With a swift swipe of Demyx's blade, the dwarf was dead. He turned to the other one.

"And you... what do you say?"

OoC: The bell just went at school so I had to cut it short! Sorry!

I just got a great muse...and i didnt die after all....youll see in the next post oh and dwarfs have a natural resistance to magic...

Faite struggled against the emence pain he felt as the blade slashed his throat and struggled to keep his bleary sight on the evil one as he feigned death to make the Evil One think he had defeated the dwarf.

"So.....what do you say?" The evil one asked the shadow gueards thought faite was dead and turned to face Esdon. Faite, now fully under his own control stood up and got his BoH and ran it over the minor wound.He saw Esdon stare at him with astonishment that he hadn't really died. Faite silently begged him not to give way to this and pulled out his statuette.
"Night, Come to me my fire but do so quietly" The fammiliar mist floated around the statuette and came out quietly in the dark corner on the other side of the room. Faite pulled out his BAoD and fired a fireball at the two shadow guards holding Esdon. "Esdon GET DOWN NOW!" Faite fired another blast, taking out all of the Shadow beasts in the room. Faite ran to the door and bolted it shut, and then turned to face the Evil one -Demyx-

"Thought you'd get done with me quickly eh'?" the dwarf said "But ill run you through yet! Faite had left Night in the corner where he was summoned and as soon as Demeyx turned his way the beast slammed into his back slamming him into the ground.

OOC: ok guys if your reading this i'm sorry that I haven't been on but it's becasue my computer had died and i've only just got a new one.

BIC: Esdon drew his swords from his hips and slamed there hilts into the short swords around his lower legs so that when he pulled them out the four blades were now two double ended ones which he new how to use. I better make this quick Esdon thought for my energy is low after using that attack to open up the tower. Esdon span one of his swords in a full ark and faced the man who was now slowly being cicled by his dwarf friend who had his axe at the ready.

"Ok then you evil man", Esdon spat each word out like a had a bad taste in his mouth"You have two chocies and these are to run away or die like the scum you are",As Esdon finished this he felt anger boiling up inside him but he had to hold it back for he wasn't ready to realise his dark side yet for that would have ended the fight near instantly.

"Well I chocie neither and I also chocie to kill you two", siad the man in a very evil fashion.(He threw his head back as he said this an laughed evilly)

"Well then here comes your death", at this Esdon brought up his speed to full and ran at teh guy with his swords ready. Esdon stopped right infront of him and span around so that he kicked the man in the back of the head so that he skimmed across the ground into a wall.

"So the tall mans fast", said the man as he staggered to his feat while wipping blood from a wound that had appeared on his fore head "Well I better kill him first", at this the man lunged but Esdon just sped up and doged it with a simple side step before his dwarf friend hit him across the back with his battel axe.

"You shouldn't forget me my tall friend", Fatie said proudly.

"I never would, now lets kill this guy and feed him to the volters", Esdon siad in his Evil tone.

Demyx laughed out loud.

"Feed me to the what?" He asked, having barely understood any of what the tall one had said.

The tall one did not reply. Instead, he raised two of his blades and came at him at full speed, as he had done before. That had hurt. He held up his own blade ready and waited for what he knew the tall one would do. True to his prediction, the tall one repeated the exact same attack as before. Instead of allowing himself to be caught off guard, Demyx kicked him in the face, sending him flying into the wall, knocking him out cold.

The short one started to run towards the tall one but Demyx clicked his fingers, causing the Shadow Guards on either side of him to materialize next to him and seize him. Two more grabbed the tall one.

"Toss these fools out into the desert!" He demanded, and the guards disappeared immediately.

Demyx laughed. They would have a very hard time getting out of the deserts! They were like a maze from which only the most skilled could ever escape. A sandstorm which never died down obscured their vision for a start, and quicksand was hidden in amongst real sand in many places. Not to mention the foul beasts which made their homes there, among other things.

Demyx knew, however, that they would escape the desert, one way or another. They were strong. He needed time to recouperate and formulate a plan of action. And, also, he needed to explore the ruinsc and secrets of the area without further interruptions. He would find his answers, and he would have his revenge.

Faite regained most of his focus and then laughed out loud, "Your forgetting something....rather some one. NOW NIGHT!" Night lept from the shadows, slashing at the startled shadow guards and getting them to release Faite. "Now, Night return to your home plane and bring Fiara!" Faite said as soon as he had unsheathed Night's Fury and was running full speed at Demyx Feigning to the left and coming out with a spining slash to the right, just as Esdon came in with another kick, knocking Demyx off guard for a moment. "Quick! Esdon, get out of here!" Faite said urgently, seeing that Demyx was already summoning in more Shadow Guards and was already firing at some of them.
