OoC: Well, I got time to start it off now, so let's get going shall we?
BiC: The wind was fierce, and the ground, soft. Vitros new where he was heading, but if anyone were to be traveling with him, they would think he was lost.
He was in what seemed like an abandoned valley, but there was a road, which is what made him curious as to what it led to. He had been on this road for more than 3 hours, and he was running at what he thought was around 50 mph.
Man, when will the this end? If it does at all. His question was answered by a sudden drop in the slope in the ground.
He stopped in a dead instant, just where the slope downward started. Looking down the slope, he saw what seemed very odd in such a location. There was what seemed to be a castle type of building in the pit of the slope. There where only 3 towers with walls filling the middle of inbetween them. The gates where open, and in the middle of the huge structure, there seemed to look like there was a hole in the middle, with seats all around the edge.
"Huh, didn't expect it, but at the same time...." He then shut off his eye's future sight ability and put it on his increased vision. "...same it coming." He frowned and started to look more closely at the hole in the middle of the building. From what he gathered, there must be some kind of competition.
Well, I guess I have time off of my busy time to check this out, he thought to himself as he walked down the pathway which now led to what he now saw.
It took a little time to get down to the gates of the structure. Now that there were people, he couldn't use any of his powers except for his eye, since no one would see it.
He walked down a town street, now knowing that it wasn't just a building, it was an entire city. As he walked, he headed in direction of the what looked like a sign up booth. The man there was standing with two guards blocking entery to what looked like an arena.
Ah, so that's what it is. Vitros walked the the man at the desk. "Hello there, may I ask what your signing people up for?"
The man looked up from the paper he was writing names and information on, "Why of course, this is a simple fighting tournament. Would you care for me to explain?"
"Please do." The young warrior said as he peeked behind the two guards to see hundreds of people now in the seating stands.
"Well, there are only 5 heats for every fighter. The 1st heat is where all contestants fight until only one is able to continue. The 2nd heat is the fight between a winner of the 1st heat and...well, so on until the final fight between the 2 men or women who fight and win the 4th heat."
"Wait, women are in this too?" Vitros accidently said out load, as a woman walked by him. She looked at him madly, gasped, and slapped him across the face.
"Sexist!" she yelled, as she walked away, head held high. The warrior stared back at the man, with a red handprint on his right cheek.
"...sign me up please."
"Uh..yeah, yes! Right away sir. The entry fee is 200 gold." The warrior handed him the fair price and the guards led him down to the room of other contestants, all of which, seemed to just be normal people, only musculed up and know how to fight.
Well, time to just wait I guess, he thought as he sat agianst the wall and waited for him to be called into the arena.
