OoC: Well, I got time to start it off now, so let's get going shall we?
BiC: The wind was fierce, and the ground, soft. Vitros new where he was heading, but if anyone were to be traveling with him, they would think he was lost.
He was in what seemed like an abandoned valley, but there was a road, which is what made him curious as to what it led to. He had been on this road for more than 3 hours, and he was running at what he thought was around 50 mph. Man, when will the this end? If it does at all. His question was answered by a sudden drop in the slope in the ground.
He stopped in a dead instant, just where the slope downward started. Looking down the slope, he saw what seemed very odd in such a location. There was what seemed to be a castle type of building in the pit of the slope. There where only 3 towers with walls filling the middle of inbetween them. The gates where open, and in the middle of the huge structure, there seemed to look like there was a hole in the middle, with seats all around the edge.
"Huh, didn't expect it, but at the same time...." He then shut off his eye's future sight ability and put it on his increased vision. "...same it coming." He frowned and started to look more closely at the hole in the middle of the building. From what he gathered, there must be some kind of competition. Well, I guess I have time off of my busy time to check this out, he thought to himself as he walked down the pathway which now led to what he now saw.
It took a little time to get down to the gates of the structure. Now that there were people, he couldn't use any of his powers except for his eye, since no one would see it.
He walked down a town street, now knowing that it wasn't just a building, it was an entire city. As he walked, he headed in direction of the what looked like a sign up booth. The man there was standing with two guards blocking entery to what looked like an arena. Ah, so that's what it is. Vitros walked the the man at the desk. "Hello there, may I ask what your signing people up for?"
The man looked up from the paper he was writing names and information on, "Why of course, this is a simple fighting tournament. Would you care for me to explain?"
"Please do." The young warrior said as he peeked behind the two guards to see hundreds of people now in the seating stands.
"Well, there are only 5 heats for every fighter. The 1st heat is where all contestants fight until only one is able to continue. The 2nd heat is the fight between a winner of the 1st heat and...well, so on until the final fight between the 2 men or women who fight and win the 4th heat."
"Wait, women are in this too?" Vitros accidently said out load, as a woman walked by him. She looked at him madly, gasped, and slapped him across the face.
"Sexist!" she yelled, as she walked away, head held high. The warrior stared back at the man, with a red handprint on his right cheek.
"...sign me up please."
"Uh..yeah, yes! Right away sir. The entry fee is 200 gold." The warrior handed him the fair price and the guards led him down to the room of other contestants, all of which, seemed to just be normal people, only musculed up and know how to fight.
Well, time to just wait I guess, he thought as he sat agianst the wall and waited for him to be called into the arena.
OoC: *gets bowl of cereal because i just now woke up* This might take a wile=/
BiC: Virtros observes a the warriors and how they fight. This is a great way to learn new things thought Virtros. Few matches pass, few people get eliminated.
Everyone hears a voice, one of the judges. It happens after round to announce the winner of the previous round and to announce the contestants of the next round. He says "Tywar and Virtros need to appear in the fighting ring in less than three minutes or they will be disqualified!"
Virtros has a surprising look on his face from two things. One, the time he had to get down to the ring, and two, he had never heard of the name Tywar before and thought he will be a formidable warrior.
Both stumble through the crowd to get to the ring. Two minuets have passed and neither have showed their faces. The judge comes back on. "Both contestants must appear in less than thirty seconds or they will be disqualified"
Both warriors appear through separate sections of the crowd and enter the ring right after the announcer comes off.
"Now that both of the contestants are in the ring, they may now start the battle. 3...2...1... You may begin!"
Both warriors unsheathe their weapons. Virtros runs head first toward Tywar with his weapon at his side ready to swing. Tywar thinks to himself, he will not do his absolute best, he feels something special about Virtros. He remembered something valuable about his last fight with Crogon.
Virtros finally reaches Tywar. He swings his weapon with great intensity and to only be stoped by Tywar's katana.
Vitros had charged first to observe. As his opponent raised a katana to guard, he realized that his foe was not normal. "So, your strength is not of an ordinary man.", the warrior said to Tywar. The warrior increased his own strength and flung Tywar across the ground. As the man quickly recovered his balance, Vitros had his hand against his swords handle. After a little time, his blade had turned to its ice form. As the light flashed, all the people wow'd and got suspicious as to how he did that. "Well, let's see what else you can do, shall we?" The warrior charge once more at Tywar, and scraped his blade's tip into the ground as he ran, making the ground behind him wet down and freeze over. Just as the two men's blades were to clash, Vitros' blade melted to water, went through Tywar's guard, and turned back to ice, and cut near his shoulder. As this happened, Tywar pulled out a knife from his boot and stabbed it into Vitro's arm. The two seperated, and as Tywar stood, he spoke.
"That was weak! You didn't even hit me!", but as the words escaped his mouth, hair from infront his face, fell off, from the blade that missed his face by inches.
Vitros stared at the knife in his left arm, which he pulled out without flinching. "Well, you sure hit me.", he said with a frown. But as Tywar was to reply, he heard something from behind. "But would you like for me to hit you this time?", Tywar heard from behind as he saw the warrior that was infront of him, turn to water, and fall to the ground. Suddenly, a strong force collided with his back, and he flew across the ground, and slid to a stop.
Just as he looked back, he saw ice shattered across the ground. What? This guy knows how to munipulate ice? Tywar stood and regained his balance once more.
Vitros took the blade behind as if ready to swing into the air. "Now this will be a test. Dodge this for me.", he said as he swung the blade. "IC Barrage!"
Ice shards flew from the blade and came straight for Tywar, he quickly focused and started to dodge the incoming threat. Only a few managed to scrap his skin. Vitros stared at his opponent, Now, to give him a turn. he thought as the final wounds of the knife faded from his arm.
OoC: Alright then, your turn pal. Give it your all.
OoC: That's actually a good trick, but you forget.....I have it too.
BiC: Vitros stood and looked at the many copies of his foe rushing at him with the exact same movements. I guess I had better stop holding back, or this guy just might kill me, the warrior thought as all of Tywar's clones closed in at all angles, all within feet of slashing him apart, even though only one blade will cut.
Just as the blades of the clones were within inches of hitting Vitros, the warrior teleported once again, making all the clones run through each other and out in different directions. Tywar stopped and looked. Damn that coward, he said to himself. Tywar and his clones all looked back behind one another, only to see something they had not expected. Damn, I can't believe this!
Behind the Tywar clones was Vitros, only not alone, there where 10 warriors of the same looks as Vitros, clones. All the warriors took the same fighting stance as the next and they all opened their mouthes to speak. "Sorry, but your not the only one with that talent, although your clones seem to be able to take more than one hit before fading.
"What are you talking about?", Tywar yelled at Vitros as he looked back at his doubles. He scaned them all until he saw something on the second one down from him. Their was a large cut wound shape along the illusion's arm was becoming disrupted, which told Tywar that he had been hit.
"You see, mine can't take damage without disappearing, so I congrat you on having a better mastered form of illusion, but I still don't need them to have endurence." As this was said, all Vitros' illusions had surrounded Tywar in a blink of an eye. All then started to run toward Tywar in all different angles, and the surrounded warrior prepared to start guarding.
One blade swept toward Tywar, he came up to block, but the blade ran right through his guard and right through him, as did the next three attacks. But as the fourth attack came, so did the fifth. The warrior had to pick quickly which one to block, so he chose the fifth. His sword came to block the fifth but just as the blades were supposed to meet, he heard a clang of metal, just as the fourth blow went through him.
"Very good, your eye's do not fail you.", Vitros said as they were blade against blade.
"Don't underestimate me.", Tywar said to the warrior.
OoC: HEY! No curseing for Tywar! Just you and I my friend lol. Kaitengiri!(Japanese for spinning slash(spin attack)) *pulls out eye of truth* I see you! Ah, my... only weakness... kicking my ass. lol. of course you are. Your writing this.
BiC: Tywar can see them... He can see the illusions and he can see Vitros breathe. He takes a moment in time to look at them. He can see the special aura of life.
Vitros Begins to set his illusions again. Many of them surround Tywar. He sees right through them. Tywar swiftly turns around and begins a left diagonal strike( \ ). Vitros saw the attack from the beginning and blocked Tywar's attack. The illusions disappear. "How did you manage to do such a thing like that?" Vitros asked. Silence from Tywar.
Both warriors begin to make rapid clashes of ancient medal and ice. Both Creating illusions but have no effect toward each other.
OoC: Cant wait to see what you got. Hope I didn't screw anything up.
BiC: Vitros began to dodge, block, and attack his foe. The boy managed to get through his illusions, and that was impressive. Now he put his skills in the hands of another ability. Vitros backstepped to dodge on of Tywar's strikes, then he brought his sword crashing down on Tywars sword as he blocked it. The force of the blow was so strong that it sent his foe sliding across the ground.
The warrior stood for a moment, holding his hand against his chest with one finger out. Tywar regained his balance. Man, what is he planning now?
After a few seconds, Vitros put his hand down again. He had put all of his energy in his ice powers. The warrior put his sword back to its true form, and put it back in it's holder at his side. Tywar had grew impatient watching and waiting, so he charged, sword ready to strike. As the man grew near, the warrior created a wall ram of ice, and Tywar struck it, instead of Vitros. Once the strike had been delt, he pushed the ice wall away, making Tywar push back with it. "IC Chamber!", the warrior yelled as his hands began to glow blue. Tywar ran at him as quickly as possible, but wasn't fast enough.
Vitros waved his hand in a quick motion, and water came infront of Tywar, then it suddenly froze to make an awkward angled ice wall. The warrior waved his arms fiercely again and again as more water formed around Tywar and froze, until the man was trapped in an orb of ice.
Tywar furiously swung at the ice, cracking it and nearly about to break it. But as he was punching, Vitros picked his sword back out, turned it to ice once again, and started to spin it above his head. As this happened, Tywar started to feel like he was being bittin by tiny bugs, all over his body. Then, as he turned around, he saw a small, but fierce tornado of blue smoke and sparkles forming in the middle of the orb he was trapped in. As the tornado grew, so did the pain Tywar was feeling. He was also getting colder. Then he felt a slightly worse pain in his arm than anywhere else. He lifted his arm to see that a small ice shard had impaled his arm. As he looked another small ice shard hit him in the shoulder. Tywar slowly began to feel himself bleed from under every bit of clothing he was wearing.
The tornado was a tornado of tiny ice shards.
"No, no, I have to get out!", he yelled as the pain grew as the ice shards grew larger. He pelted the ice orb as hard as he could until it finally broke. Tywar rushed out limping and fell on one knee. ....I hurt.....all...o..over, he thought as he attemped to get up, visible ice shards sticking out of his body everywhere.
BiC: Tywar tried to stand up properly. He stumbles on the first try, but after a second try, he ignores the enormous pain. "Having trouble old man?" He manages to block all sound and feelings. Vitros has a confused look on his face. He starts to look around himself, but he sees nothing abnormal. Tywar starts to glow a kind of yellow and white color. Vitros quickly performs a dash toward Tywar and does an enormous jump attack. Tywar readies for a block raising his sword above his head. His sword turns to his water form and brakes through his block, but hits Tywar in it's water form before it could revert to its original form. Tywar's aura Just became even more powerful than before, turning his appearance pure white and a huge force pushes Vitros back about 7 feet without him falling over himself. After the huge flash has dimmed, he sees Tywar standing in a perfectly straight stance, he is stronger than ever. He was fully regenerated. "Come on..." "...The hell?" The two dash for each other and clash into a brawl.
The man's power had dramatically increased, and this would pose a problem to Vitros if he didn't start slacking. The power struggle between the two blades collided, Tywar pushing Vitros across the ground without the teen losing a bit of his stance.
The warrior summoned an ice pillar between them, forcing the man to jump back. Vitros then shorted the pillar to about his height and stabbed his sword into the ice, making the ice add on to the blade. Using Light magic, Vitros made the ice Mystic, which would make it a lot harder to break. Resting the blade over his shoulder, the warrior spoke. "You shouldn't have saved that power for later. Now you won't have anything left after this battle," he said.
Tywar responded by shooting a Light blast of his own, which hit Vitros directly and through the teens body. Once the blast went by however, all that was left of the warrior was a splash of water, that had just hit the ground. Tywar looked around himself to realize that he had been surrounded by 5 Vitros'. Tywar then put his illusions to full power as he made 5 solid illusions of himself. Heh, illusions, like they will help him here..., but as he said this, 2 of Tywar's illusions cut through 2 of Vitros' water clones. "Their solid now?", he thought as he dodged the two upcoming illusions and cut through them with his giant blade, which he swung like it weighed nothing.
