Re: An Angel's Aria The bard pondered the man’s words. The ability to destroy worlds and end all life. He chuckled lightly. One would think that an item that powerful would be more closely guarded. Instead, it has flow to some ruins and now a group of random people are being challenged to find it. The whole situation seemed a little absurd. Then again, fate didn’t have to make sense to simply happen.
Nothing like that mattered, though. The Mistress wanted the orb so Adonis had to get it. Or at least try to get it. He looked at William again. The man clearly knew far more about the subject than a normal person would. The songster figured that if Will wanted the orb, there wasn’t anything he could do about that.
“I accept your challenge,” Adonis stated just loud enough to be heard. “However,” he addressed William directly, “I will keep you to your word about the wish.”
He nodded, “As I said, as long as it’s in my power, I’ll grant anything.”
The undead turned away, satisfied with the answer. A low growl only audible to him came from his shadow. The familiar demon probably suspected something but that really didn’t matter. Flauros was commanded to follow Adonis so it wouldn’t do anything to stop him. However, as he started walking back to the ledge, he realized something. He turned back to the group, “Um, where exactly is this El Lid desert? I’m not familiar with that name. Or do we need to find the place on our own?”
OoC: It's pathetically short. >>; Sorry.
