The Great Hickleback Hunt (Zorlo, Neko, and Lady Luck)

OOC: This is just to poke fun. I have no idea how long it will last.

BIC: Selene continued to scan the multiple food magazines strewn about her messy bed. Each dish contained some sort of appetizing food, but she didn't want any of them. She had a very believable excuse, after all. She had to consume enough food for two now. She continued to flip through some gourmet dishes located exquisitely in the best restaurants and came upon something that, despite its grotesque appearance, appealed to her greatly. She traced a gloved finger along the name, squealing in joy and popping another chocolate in-between in her lips. Several empty boxes lined the floor, the tissue paper scattered about.

She began to read more information on this strange creature that looked so tasty. In order to do so, she pulled a book from the shelf, about mythical creatures. She scanned the words thoughtfully as she munched another chocolate. The purple-spotted Hickleback is a rare species that, though man-eating, is extremely tasty when grilled. Also able to fly, the Hickleback is extremely dangerous, and normally travels in schools of up to twenty or more. Normally the size of a large goat, the Hickleback can only be tamed by tickling its’ belly the right way.

The only part that jumped out to Selene was the fact that it was extremely tasty. Replacing the book, she crunched through a few foil wrappers of potato chips and opened the door to her room. She slinked about the mansion she happened to be staying in currently. She had spotted her prey. With a jump forward, she pounced, throwing her arms about him. "Guess who?" She playfully asked.

Slowly, his arms un-wrapped hers and he bestowed a loving kiss on her cheek. "I knew it was you." The fencer moved his hands to caress her now noticeably swollen stomach. "Good morning."

"Goooood morning!" Selene chirped in return, happy as all get-out. "Zorlo, can you do something for me, please?" She practically begged, clasping her hands together.

"Of course. Tell me what you desire, my love, and I'll do it, no matter what."

This was exactly what Selene wished to hear. "Could you get me some purple-spotted Hickleback to eat? I really, really want some. Please?"

OOC: Take it away, someone. Have your character journey to the ocean and there you’ll meet my next character appearance.

Re: The Great Hickleback Hunt (Zorlo, Neko, and Lady Luck)

OoC: I thought you were Joking, Sakume-chan. *Shudders* Okay, lets get this going. Using Zorlo, link in sig.

BiC: The fencer held his lover a bit closer as she told him what she desired. "A say what now?" the fencer asked, smiling at his beloved.

"A purple-spotted Hickleback."

"And you found this... where?" the green haired man inquired, looking at her blankly.

"In this book!" she stated gleefully as he shoved the book into the fencer's chest and he opened it up and skimmed through he pages until he found it. After looking upon the details, the fencer went very, very pale and put the book down next to himself. "Okay... I'll go find you one and bring it back," he stated, his eyes wide.

"YAY!" she hugged him happily, and he returned it, although blandly, mostly terrified at the prospect of being eaten by a fish.

"I'll be back soon, I have got go talk to a friend to help me find this creature. I shall return before long, my dearest," he stated as he carried her back to their room and placed her upon her bed, grabbing his stuff as he headed out in search of the one person that he knew would know where to find the purple-spotted Hickleback.

o=)---------- ----------(=o

The fencer moved at all speed towards the temple of Macha, the place that Haineko told him she would be headed, mostly because of the name of the location of the place the Hickleback was located.

"The reefs of Macha," the fencer exclaimed, moving quickly closer to the temple, his hair swaying in the wind. "Where the hell is that?" he asked no one in particular. "Well, if anyone, I'm sure Haineko would know," he stated as he continued his search. With this, the hunt for the purple-spotted Hickleback began.

OoC: Short, crappy and pointless. Man spoof threads rock!

Re: The Great Hickleback Hunt (Zorlo, Neko, and Lady Luck)

OoC: And it is my turn it seems.

Bic:

Haineko walked out of the Priestess hall and sighed. She'd never thought she'd be unhappy to be leaving again but then that last week had actually made her want to stay and had put her in a great mood. A great enough mood that she might actually have accepted an apology from Nikudemon. Almost. She checked over the last of her gear and reviewed her next goal when the front gate reported a traveler approaching fast and requested a battle ready Priestess come to the gate. She already could see a priestess starting for the gate when she stopped the girl. "I'll go. It's obvious you scrambled to get ready."

"Haineko? Yes, of course. I'll let you go for me," the young girl replied with a false smile and turned to go back, obeying mostly due to Haineko's being the equivalent to a high upperclassmen and that this would allow the girl to get stronger while Haineko possible risked her life.

"Transparent little b*tch," Haineko muttered as she moved to the front gate. Luckily for her, Haineko cared little or the young priestess might have "mysteriously" died in her sleep that night. The Gate wasn't far away and Haineko reached it ahead of the visitor. "Report, what's the status of the approaching visitor?"

The Gate keeper turned and smiled. "Ma'am, It appears to be a warrior. Dressed in all green and moving about as fast as a Neko with a bad leg. A Human male male by the looks of it," she replied and handed the Flame Priestess a scope.

Haineko quickly took it and looked. "I thought so. He won't be any trouble. I had the luck to meet this human many times before and know him." She handed the Gate keeper back her scope and motioned for the gate to be opened. As it creaked open she continued. "Since I'm leaving I'll direct him away before I continue my travels. I'll return to see about my new Mage Warrior in several months."

"Right. I'll tell the temple head of your departure." Haineko nodded and was walking through the gate when the Gate Keeper placed a hand lightly on Haineko's shoulder as a silent request for her to pause. Haineko decided to stop and wait. "And Haineko... Thank you for resurrecting me. Now I can see the day you kill you wretch of a Human with my own eyes." Haineko allowed a smile to appear on her face before walking out the gate to wait for Zorlo. It slammed shut behind her as she walked out to him.

It didn't take long for him to slow and stop several feet in front of her. "I knew I'd find you here."

"Yes, well what is it you wanted from me?"

"You seem in a good mood. Anyway, I came to ask where the reefs of Macha are and I figured you'd know."

Haineko got a sinking feeling in her stomach. She hoped it was just the mangoes and venison from breakfast. The mangoes were a bit soft from the normal firmness. "Why do you need to go to the reefs of Macha? The only things there are the reefs, a small temple to the Goddess Arianus, and various species of the carnivorous Hickleback." After all, with things from this past week nothing could break my good mood.

"That's just why I'm going. I need to get a Purple spotted Hickleback," The fencer replied. Suddenly, Haineko's "unbreakable" good mood shattered at this news and a frown replaced her slight smile.

"Fine. Come with me," she nearly snarled at him as she turned and started toward the east.

"What's wrong with you? You seemed happy until I told you that." He caught up to her and the two began moving faster.

"I was. This week was going great until now. The Shunpou Master was back and free to teach, I was able to resurrect the guard that Damned Nikudemon killed, became known as the first Priestess to gain a resurrection art, and to top it all Tsukineko came to me at the temple and requested to be a Mage Warrior." Haineko caught herself and glared back at Zorlo with a look that could freeze small animals in fear. "You WILL forget what I've just said to you or there will be consequences. Are we clear?"
