The Flooded City (Tribute to Katrina [anyone])

OoC: Loosely based on Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans.

BiC: "Its... its just like my tribe."

The city of New Arlens was flooded to the point of distruction. Clark's mission was simple: help these people. What made this difficult, was that it was almost just like his tribe.

A single tear came out of his eye. He felt a personal bond to the city. Maybe this time, he could save these people, and stop the same destrucion that happened to the Mes Tribe.

"Why do things like this happen? Why does there have to be death and destruction?" Clark said to himself.

He slowly walked to what is now a beach. He smelled the air around him and it was disgusting.

"Death," he thought, he smelled the scent to many times before.

The boy found a small wooden raft, it must have been once that a citizen used to escape. He jumped on the raft, gotten a long board and used it as a paddle. He had to find survivers.

OoC: Short post, but, I'm on a time limit.
