Homunculi Hell in a Cell. (God of shadows)

Hell in a cell, wasn’t that what they called this prison? Inmates were beaten regularly by the guards and fights were rarely broken up until everybody had calmed down. The cells were overstuffed as well. Two bunkbeds, and ten people.

Lament didn’t care about any of that at the moment. Master sent her to this particular prison to capture a rogue homunculus. She’d had no clue that any homunculi existed save for herself, Deceit, Despair, and the nameless little girl.

This homunculus had been captured, barely, by a large group of elite soldiers after massacring all of the patrons of a local bar. He was said to be able to change his body structure to match that of nearby inanimate objects. A strange power indeed.

Most homunculi’s powers involved manipulating their body or the area around them, not completely changing their very DNA structure. Deceit could manipulate the way light was reflected and absorbed, allowing him to create realistic looking illusions. Despair could meld his bones together to form weapons, and the little girl… Lament didn’t quite know what she could do.

Where is he,” she thought, looking down the hallway of metal stripes. “I guess there’s only one way to find out.

Lament focused on the soundwaves around her and changed their frequency to a high pitched wail. Any humans in the prison would be rolling around on the ground from the noise, their eardrums likely bleeding. The homunculus wouldn’t be affected.

The floor shook as hundreds of bodies collapsed to the ground. Lament could even make out a small crack forming on the floor. Many people began to scream from the pain, while others covered their ears in a futile attempt to mute the noise.

Three cells down a man leaned against the bars. Rather than screaming or covering his ears, the man was lighting a cigarette. Lament cracked her knuckles. “So that’s him.

Re: Homunculi Hell in a Cell. (God of shadows)

ooc: OK Mike bring it on...

bic: The homunculi was in the cell not paying any attention to the screech from the nearby ally or enemy. Lament checked this other homunculi over. He had red hair, purple sunglasses, a combat jacket, and a cigarette. Everything else was normal. Lament then asked the strange homunculi for his name. “Grief.” he said.

Lament then did a rare thing. She smiled from victory she found the man she was looking for. Grief saw this and walked towards the bars. Lament then asked, “If you can fuse your self with anything you touch then why haven’t you gotten out.”

“I like the quiet, and I don’t give a rat’s ass if I live forever or die.” Grief said.

Lament stepped away and said quietly almost as if talking to herself, “now it’s about time to leave your cell and get to the real world.”

Grief smiled and touched two of the bars. Instantly they began to glow and so did his hands. The two bars were now swords on his hands. He looked into Lament’s eyes, but Lament turned away. A guard caught a sight of Grief and Lament, and the homunculi to the guard. Lament screeched making the guard fall to the floor. Grief walked over to the guard and lifted his arm. Then the blade arm slammed down upon the guard’s neck splitting it in half. Lament and Grief ran knowing that more guards would show up and also knew that would waste time. They ran down the hall wile the prisoners were getting up from a horrible pain for the second time. The two came to a door and stopped. It wasn’t an exit but they planned on taking it anyway. The two entered a room that looked like an arena. Grief unfused the bars and tossed one to Lament to lock one of the two doors as Grief did the other. Now the doors were locked and they were trapped in an arena. Grief then said, “ I’ve been looking for a challenge lately but no one is good enough.”

Lament nodded then went to the center of the arena, same with Grief. The arena was pretty big it had no man made floor it was a desert like platform that was amazingly flat. There were stands all around the arena which made it more like entertainment. Grief stared into Lament’s eyes one more time to find hers were already in his.

Re: Homunculi Hell in a Cell. (God of shadows)

“You know,” Lament said, looking at the stands. “This arena is used so that prisoners can fight one another to the death rather than be executed by the guards. I’d of thought this place would be coated in blood…”

She cracked her knuckles, turning to face Grief yet again. It was blazingly obvious that he wanted to fight. Lament decided to humor him for now. It would be a while before the others came to get them out of here.

“You say you’ve been looking for a challenge, eh?” she asked. Grief silently nodded, already cracking his knuckles and preparing to battle the female homunculus. Lament suddenly lurched forward in an attempt to catch the homunculus off guard, but he was already three steps ahead of her.

Grief sidestepped Lament’s charge and grabbed her by the back of her neck. He yanked backwards, pulling her off her feet. Before she even landed he kicked her in the side, sending her sliding across the sand-laden arena.

Lament heard several ribs shatter as she slammed against the wall, leaving a decently large dent. Before she even stood, Grief was upon her. He scooped her up off the ground and chokeslammed her into one of the nearby stands.

He’s strong,” Lament thought, struggling to stand after the chokeslam. Although she could already feel her wounds regenerating, she knew that she wouldn’t be able to last very long in a fist to fist fight.

OOC: Sorry for the shortness. Crappy keyboard+stretched CJ’s+An evil ***** of a math teacher=crappy posts.

Re: Homunculi Hell in a Cell. (God of shadows)

OOC: boya mike lets rumble it took u forever.

BIC: Lament struggled to get free from Grief’s grip but he didn’t let go. Grief gave her no sign of release so she took a chance. Grief felt a foot hit the bottom of his jaw. Grief didn’t feel anything but he wanted to act so he let go and stumbled onto the ground holding his jaw. Lament was smarter than that so she took her steps to the side until she caught her breath. Grief still faked it until he realized that she knew so he stood up and cracked his neck. Lament stared into his eyes hoping for a sign of Grief’s next move. Grief walked to a crumbled wall with a bunch of fallen rocks that were there for hundreds of years by the looks of them. Grief picked one of the rocks up and tossed it in the air and caught it a few times before fusing it with his hand to make a rock blade. He pointed it at Lament and said, “Do you really think you can beat me the way you are now, if you do then your pathetic?”

Lament didn’t say anything she just stared into Grief’s eyes blankly. Grief charged at his fellow homunculi with bad intentions. Grief swung his blade aimed at Laments neck but Lament jumped over the blade and kicked attempted to kick Grief in the head. Grief with his other hand grabbed her leg and threw her to the ground. Lament squirmed up and jumped away. Grief slowly walked toward Lament with a insane smirk on his face. Lament concentrated and looked up at Grief. Grief felt his ears ring but knew of Lament’s power. He kept going and grew more bloodthirsty. Lament twitched and felt a buzz. Grief walked right into her trap. A sonic boom. Grief flew backwards into a wall.

OOC: sorry its such a small post but waiting for you gave me wrighters block with Grief

Re: Homunculi Hell in a Cell. (God of shadows)

OOC: Okay, a few writing tips my good friend.

1. "Do you really think you can beat me the way you are now, if you do then your pathetic?” That's what you wrote. Two things though...

"Do you really think you can beat me the way you are now? If you do, then you're pathetic."

2. 'Grief swung his blade aimed at Laments neck but Lament jumped over the blade and kicked attempted to kick Grief in the head.'

Did you mean that Lament tried to kick Grief and failed, or succeeded in kicking him? It's good to be a little more specific.

Writing tips aside...

BIC: Lament wasted no time in attacking Grief. Almost as soon as he felt his back smack into the wall, Lament’s fist was being driven into his chest. The force of her blow shattered several of Grief’s ribs and caused several cracks to form on the wall.

Attempting to gain momentum, she went for another blow, this one to the neck. Unfortunately for her, Grief was once again ahead. He grabbed her wrist and snapped it, causing the female homunculus to cry out in pain. While she was distracted he drove his sword arm into her chest, sending a shower of blood onto the ground behind her.

Having turned the tables yet again, Grief twisted his blade and wrenched it from Lament’s chest. She dropped to the floor, dead. Of course, the male homunculus knew that the regenerative abilities of a homunculus could even bring it back from death, so long as it had enough red stones in its system.

He grabbed Lament by her neck and slammed her into the wall, causing even more cracks to spread. By now Lament’s wrist had regenerated, and her chest wound was almost healed. She awoke to find herself pinned to the wall by Grief, his sword arm preparing to impale her further.

Lament scowled. She would not allow herself to be beaten so easily by this man. The female homunculus clenched her fists tight, though allowing her thumbs to remains extended. With unnatural quickness she jammed her thumbs into Grief’s throat, her scowl switching to a smile when she felt her thumbs tearing through his flesh.

As quickly as her thumbs were thrust in they tore themselves out, taking a large section of Grief’s throat with them.

Re: Homunculi Hell in a Cell. (God of shadows)

OOC: OK Mike, Thanks for the grammer You know Runescape and all... yaun time again to fight (took ya long enough tho.)

BIC:Grief instantly backed off. The homunculus knew he would regenerate. Lament threw herself upwards into a row of stands to get away from Grief. When Grief was healed he searched for Lament and found her trying to hide behind some rubble in the stands. Grief looked at his blade arm and thought to himself why this wasn’t going how he had planed. Grief let out a sigh and pulled out a cigarette and lit it with a nearby flame on a wall. Lament hoped Grief couldn’t see her yet she knew he probably did. There was the slim chance that she he couldn’t so she stayed. Grief took a drag on the cigarette and shook his head. “Do you really think I can’t see you… well? Grief asked calmly.

Lament froze. She knew he saw her, but she stayed there so she had gotten the consequences. Lament jumped out from the rubble and at Grief. Grief smiled and jumped backwards dogging Lament’s charge. Lament landed and looked at Grief. Grief lifted his blade pointing it at Lament taunting her. The two homunculus ran at each other. When the two met in the middle it was on yet again. Grief swung horizontally. Lament grabbed Grief’s arm flipped around it and kicked at his face. With his other hand Grief catches Lament’s leg and swings it around then eventually lets go sending Lament crashing into a wall. When Lament gets up Grief is right there.

OOC: as you can see by the time i am sort on time so if u wish ill improve it.

Re: Homunculi Hell in a Cell. (God of shadows)

Damn,” Lament thought, sidestepping an attempt by Grief to cleave her in half. “How many red stones did this guy’s maker feed him? He’s a freaking juggernaut!

She brought up her foot, attempting to kick him in the chin. The female homunculus was very unfortunate, not only failing the attempt but getting her leg grabbed by the other homunculus. Grief brought his fist down on her knee, forcing it to bend in a way that it was obviously not meant to.

The stronger homunculus then elbowed Lament in the face, dislodging her jaw and sending her sprawling to the ground. Grief proceeded to stomp on the smaller homunculus, laughing every time he heard a bone snap. She’d put up a good fight so far, but was far from a match.

Of course, that was what he thought. Lament, however, decided to stop pussy footing around. She brought her hands together and clapped, as if having just watched an incredible play. The instant her hands met, she used her powers to change the simple clapping noise into a sonic boom.

The unfortunate Grief hadn’t seen the attack coming, and his head was wrenched backwards from the force of the attack. Wasting no time, Lament brought her working leg up in a wide arc, striking the homunculus in his chest.

Grief let out a wheeze as the air was forced out of his lungs. Before he even had time to set his head right, the female homunculus was on him. She tackled him to the ground and put him in a headlock with one arm, holding his sword arm down with the other.

Lament snapped Grief’s head back into its rightful position if only to see the pained look on his face when she snapped his sword arm off. She immediately took the sword arm and plunged it into Grief’s face…

Re: Homunculi Hell in a Cell. (God of shadows)

OOC: ooooooo nice hit gona get ya back tho.

BIC: Lament immediately backed off watching her enemy in a bloody mess. Grief’s hand changed back to normal. He was faced with antagonizing pain which consumed him. With what seemed like the last bit of strength he had he ripped the blade arm out of his face, reveling a blood soaked face. The wound had already started to heal. Lament saw this and took it as an opening of victory. The female homunculus ran gracefully towards her enemy. When she got there it was too late. Grief was ready and healed. Lament had to thrust her leg forward to attempt to stop moving to a horrific defeat. Grief jumped up into the air and landed were Lament was after she got him with the arm. What was good with this place was he was now cornering her. Grief grabbed a rock and fused it making a claw, it was small but it worked with him. Grief ran at Lament his claw above his head. She jumped up and swung around his neck with flashy moves and when Grief tried to get her she would Kick his hands away. She then threw herself up into the upon him with her feet straight, then came down… HARD. Wailing Grief in the face so hard she ripped some of Grief’s face off. There was now some flesh hanging off of his face yet it healed. Grief watched this girl as if pissed off yet he wasn’t. Grief threw off his sunglasses and combat jacket and nodded at Lament. Grief charged at Lament at full speed and when he got to her he hooked her head with the claw and swung her a full three hundred and eighty degrees then slammed her down on the flat ground. Grief kicked a larger rock then the one used as a claw into his other hand. It immediately fused making a bigger blade which he slammed into Lament’s gut. Lament could barely make a noise but managed to, she screeched so loud it burst both of Grief’s eardrums. Grief immediately jumped off. He couldn’t hear anything so he can’t get hurt from a screech. He ran arms at his sides towards his enemy. Lament started to heal but Grief was faster then the process. When Grief met to her his claw grabbed onto her cloths and he slammed her head into a wall. Lament threw herself out of Grief’s arms. Grief ran to get her but she dodged every attempted. Grief gave up trying to catch her and ran toward a pile of rubble.
