Blood Memoir: Nymphetamine Overdose (Shade & Andurhil)

Ooc: This RP continues exactly where Moonlight Ruins left off. And for all you gosippers, this takes place before Reminiscences, and definitely before Blood Red Summer. And Mari, if you're reading this, PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!

Rhythm of Love - Scorpions

Let's spend the night together
I know you want it too
The magic of the moment
Is what I've got for you
The heartbeat of this night
Is made to lose control
And there is something in your eyes
That's longing for some more
Let us find together
The beat we're looking for

The rhythm of love
Keeps me dancing on the road
The rhythm of love
Got the groove that hits the bone
The rhythm of love
Is the game Im looking for
The rhythm of love
Is the heartbeat of my soul

Let's reach the top together
One night will never do
An exploding shot of pleasure
Is what I've got for you
Why don't you close your eyes
And let your feeling grow
I make you feel the taste of life
Until your love will flow
Let us find together
The beat we're longing for

The rhythm of love
Keeps me dancing on the road
The rhythm of love
Got the groove that hits the bone
The rhythm of love
Is the game I'm looking for
The rhythm of love
Is the heartbeat of my soul

Let us find together
The beat we're looking for

Soul burning with the scent of a black flame, bleak emotions veiled beneath a sadistic passion, she lived on, her innocence a whimsical memory of the past, a heart filled with the screams of helpless victims, beating against the decay of her ashen skin.

Someone saw through her pain, behind her disease, past the frozen flesh encasing the girl who once was. A wraith turned angel fought her malevolent fury, and through the anger and spite ignited a flame of hope, thawing the ice. And the lost maiden became one with the ash, and through rebirth she rose and conquered her saviour's demons...

~

Valdaria looked into the blood-red eyes of the vampire who held her hand. Where she would have once felt fury and resentment, the male's gaze filled her with such an exuberant bliss, that she could remain there, holding his hand, forever. Her stern features were blurred in a somewhat dazed expression, as all other thoughts besides Max faded away.

"Max... I..." the vampiress whispered as she walked besides her loved one. The handsome nightwalker halted and turned towards her, staring lovingly at her eyes and caressing her silky hair. His expression sent a flurry of emotions surging through her, almost bringing her to the brink of tears as her eyes welled with moisture.

"Don't you fear a thing, love," the male replied, leaning towards her and giving her a soft kiss on the lips.

"It's... just that... I've never felt anything like this before..." She wrapped her fingers delicately around the hand stroking her hair, gently guiding its caress down her cheek and bringing it to her lips. "This... touch... I've never felt anything this overwhelming before. I've known pleasure... but this... this is so much more..."

Max moved his hand beneath her chin, and subtly lifted Valdaria's face so that their eyes were locked together. "I've forgotten what it's like to be... in love," she continued. "I was once... so very long ago, before I became... this." She motioned with her arm towards herself. "I was madly in love with a boy from my village and, ironically, he was my first victim... I had been depraved of blood and... couldn't control myself and my careless feeding left him a lame stutter..."

Her gaze lowered somewhat, and a lone tear issued from the corner of her eye and began cascading down her cheek. Max's hand moved towards the source of the moisture and softly wiped it away, before raising her chin once more. "All that is in the past. Don't torment yourself over things you can't change."

The vampiress averted her gaze from Max's eyes. His intimate compassion filled her with such guilt, that she could have torn out her own heart. "I've been consumed by fury for so long that I've forsaken any notion of... happiness... All that I know is that... today you've given life to a part of me that was long deceased..."

Giving her another kiss on the lips, he held her in a gentle embrace, her head resting against his shoulders as another tear trickled down her cheek. "I can't believe I'm... crying again," she stammered as Max's hand wiped away the moisture.

Stroking her hair gently, the vampire replied in a soothing voice, "It is never a weakness to let your emotions show, darling." Wrapping his arm around her shoulders, he gently coaxed her into resuming a relaxed stroll beneath the dense forest canopy which shielded them from the early morning sun.

Resting her head softly against Max's shoulder as they walked, she whispered into his ear.

"I love you..."

Re: Blood Memoir: Nymphetamine Overdose (Shade & Andurhil)

"I believe I love you, too. Despite how rough you treated me when we first met. All was redeemed when I saw Orion disintegrate, saw him end, by your hands and mine." He smiled, and kissed her cheek, and they share a tranquil moment, just walking on dead leaves past aging trees that served as fitting scenery for this morbid couple. However, Max gave a sudden pause, taking one of her hands in his and putting it to his cheek.

"Valdaria...I want to know...Have you ever wanted to see the sun, without fear of burning?" His fine hair, long and blacker than the night they last endured, swayed gently as he twisted his head at another angle, revealing further with his raised eyebrows that he was earnestly curious if she had ever felt such an urge. She paused for a moment, then slowly nodded, closing her eyes and leaning in for another kiss. She received one promptly, and smiled at him once more.

"I have...but I felt it didn't matter. I try not to bother myself with things that will never happen." In one strong, overpowering movement, he swept his arms around her, and they bolted up, propelled by mere will, through the leaves of those withered, ancient trees, up until all they could see was the sky, all around them, and that radiant beacon of all life. She began to scream, and felt the two of them combust...or was that just the sensation of finding someone, love, just growing stronger? They were still both very much alive, if you could call it that. But she was unused to this warmth. She was like a traveller from a cold land, and he was her guide to all things foreign. She was gazing upon the sun, her new fascination with her own enemy startling, even to her self. A great ball of fire; to vampires, a murderous eye that meant the beast called Life was awake, and they were to hide, to be ashamed for what they were, Hunters of man. The screaming had faded away quickly, what she felt like now was like bathing herself in the radiance of a new revelation.

"As long as I touch you, the sun cannot harm you. As long we are embraced, light is no stranger." A golden aura was encasing them both, a semi-translucent barrier emanating from every pore of Max's handsome personage. She looked away from the sun, back into his dark ruby eyes.

"Thank you.." She kissed him once, then twice, then three times, tracing her finger along his neck as she supports him in midair, in a cloudless sky. After running his hands down her hips, he helps himself to her neck, lightly nibbling her while one of his hands sinks into and plays with her hair.

Moments later, they descended again, in an open place filled with sunshine. They lost track of time, and before too long, the leather flapping of Astralis's wings caught their ears, and they both turned, with smiles on their faces, to greet him.

Re: Blood Memoir: Nymphetamine Overdose (Shade & Andurhil)

Landing before them, the dragon bowed slightly to Valdaria, before turning towards Max. "There aren't any human settlements for several miles, so we're safe from being discovered. Staying within this forest would pretty much guarantee our concealment. But I still think we should wait for night-fall before..."

The vampire raised his hand, palm outwards, subtly indicating to Astralis not to finish the sentence. Casting a side-ways glance at the woman, he turned back towards Max, and nodded. "I understand. I shall return when the stars rise," he continued, grinning as much as having a snout allowed.

Max obliged the dragon a smile as he took towards the skies once more, and then turned his eyes back to his loved one.

"What was that about?" she inquired with a puzzled expression. "What's going to hap-?"

Her speech was suddenly silenced by Max's finger resting on her lips, a smile spread along his face. "No need to worry about that just yet, darling." And with that, he leaned towards her and pressed his lips against hers.

Somewhat startled by the abruptness of the gesture, she pulled away, her eyes wide with surprise. Gazing into his ruby eyes, however, she saw nothing but love and affection. Wrapping her arms around his waist, she brought herself against him and began repeatedly kissing him.

Gently stroking her cheek, he spoke to her softly, a grin spreading across his face. "Well dear, I believe you're a bit uneducated in the art of kissing. But don't worry; you're in the hands of an expert..."

The vampiress raised an eyebrow at the comment, but before she could respond, Max's lips made contact with her neck, and began caressing her ashen skin. Her eyes widened once more, but she quickly responded by tilting her head backwards to give him more space. Sighing gently, she closed her eyes and gave in to the emotion.

Re: Blood Memoir: Nymphetamine Overdose (Shade & Andurhil)

Without so much as a second-thought, this dragonrider deeply immersed himself in desire for the rough-edged beauty who embodied the fortune he was given so peculiarly yesterday. If one could say a heart truly is a source of love, Max's in particular had gone catatonic since the exile. Homesickness, ironically not for his land of origin but the land he had discovered, can be a powerful thing. And the cold silence of isolation, separation from Cassie, banishment from true happiness, can destroy a vampire, man, or other intelligent beast in a similar way. Strangely, this dark vixen, from a world not exactly identifiable by what he had seen so far, made him feel as though all was right. It was a little frightening, to say the least. How could she carry a solution so simply?

These thoughts passed throughout the entire duration of his soothings of Valdaria's scalp, made available by Max's practiced hands slipping through the silk of her fragrant hair and entangling themselves in it. His eyes wandered across her pleasant, if not deathly, features. An exact counterpart to his somewhat morbid good looks. If there was a single doubt in Max's mind that she was truly vampire, it was dispelled then. He could sense the kinship there, and of course, he could feel the familiar warmth of love practically radiating from her.

Does this really make sense? Why does this feel so familiar?

His thoughts were smothered rather quickly. Her hands trailed down his chest, her fingertips leaving thin, straight impressions in the fabric of his traveling cloak. With almost serpentine slickness, one of the vampire's hands slid down the back of her neck, and he brought her close for the strongest kiss yet. As Valdaria started to pull away from his pale visage as she thought the moment had passed, he caught her lower lip between both of his in an intimate vice, running his tongue along it before letting go, and giving her a sort of look that told her it was only a fraction of what was to come. Intimidated and invigorated at once, she gave a hurried blink.

It appeared that she would learn soon that not all of the typical ways of royal vampires were negative, or, more specifically, that the methods of grandiose love can derive quite a sway of the opinion, something that wouldn't blow her mind, considering how Maximilian already shattered her blue-blood stereotype.

Re: Blood Memoir: Nymphetamine Overdose (Shade & Andurhil)

Valdaria looked into the gleaming ruby eyes of Max, and all she saw was the purest of affection. Her heart was near bursting with exhilaration as countless emotions surged through her mind, suffocating her in absolute bliss. How she had managed to live this long without experiencing this was now beyond her. But to her, the past hardly mattered to her at the moment. All she could think about was how much she was in love with Max.

And how different Max was... Lucien had never offered her all she felt now, had never once made her feel happy. She mentally kicked herself for ever succumbing to his misleading words and hollow affection. In retrospect, she had been used, all she ever was to him was an object of lust, never once had he shown her any intimacy. And she had been too blind to know that there was anything better for her out there. In no way did she regret killing off that wretched bastard.

But then she suddenly felt a tinge of guilt at all the innocent whose lives she had taken. It was more than just the feeding, after all that didn't require her to kill them, it was that she enjoyed giving her victims painful deaths. Did that really define her as a person, or was it just a product of her blind fury? For the first time in her undead life, she could see clearly. She felt completely fulfilled by just being in Max's arms. Her anger and resentment had died away. After so much hidden inner pain, she had found herself, all thanks to one man, creatures she had all but loathed until she met Max.

Fuelled by the euphoria coursing through her veins, she wrapped her arms around the vampire's back and awkwardly leaned in to give him a kiss, resulting in not their lips, but their noses adjoining as one. Somewhat startled by her lips missing their target, she looked at Max in puzzlement, before realising the silliness of the situation and giving a brief laugh. The laughter brought a smile to the lips of her courtier, who proceeded to massage her nose with his own.

"You know Valdaria, one can tell from a mile off that you're not very experienced at this," he declared in mock-ridicule with a grin plastered across his face.

Blushing slightly, the vampiress proceeded to reply in mock-seriousness, even though the smile lighting up her otherwise morbid features was a dead give-away. "Spare me the sermon, mister." And with that, she tilted her head to the side and planted her lips on her sweetheart's. The vampire responded to the gesture by returning and prolonging the kiss, whilst caressing the side of her head. Moving her hands further down his back, she pushed her body against his, and Max began to lean backwards until he was flat against the thick grass, with Valdaria over him.

Satisfied with the longevity of the kiss, the vampiress rolled off her lover and lay tightly beside him, her crown nuzzled lovingly against his chest as the Max cradled her in his arms as one would a hold a defenceless infant. The night-walker sighed contentedly as she looked up into his bright red eyes.

"Max?" she whispered softly as she stroked his arm, receiving a gentle grunt in acknowledgement. "Could you please call me... Natasha?"

Giving her a loving smile, the vampire offered her the sweetest words her ears had ever tasted: "I love you... Natasha..."

And with that, he gave her a soft kiss on her forehead, and pulled back to look at her lovingly. Valdaria shuffled in his arms slightly as she pulled ever closer, and resting her head against his chest, she closed her eyes and gently drifted off to sleep in the now friendly golden rays of the sun, a peaceful smile remaining on her features. For the first time in her life, she was happy.
