Re: Nikudemon and Gloria meets (Riku's_girl) OoC: Sorry for the time it took to to write, how short it is, and of course how horribly written it is... >> Without further ado, here's my post... -_-
BiC:
“Woah!” Gloria screeched as she began to crash down. She’d definitely been taken by surprise at the sudden decent of the tree and as she teetered off the edge. She struggled to stabilize herself and her wings encased around her, making her entire body spiral down. With all her might, she flapped her wings furiously. Within moments, the pixie/fairy was flapping her wings normally, but her breath was unstable. The sudden rush of air that was forced down her throat left her gasping for a normal intake of oxygen.
Before her breathing had become normal, she remembered her ally was still falling toward his doom on the tree. Gloria forced herself to dive down after Niku. “Gah! I wish he just had his own damn wings!”
As she forced her way to the tree top, the cold air rushing by chilled her pale cheeks. Suddenly, the tree and her body collided, sending her down through the tree branches. “Oomph!! I guess I miscalculated a bit…” The pixie groaned as she lifted herself off the tree branch that kept her from face planting on the floor.
Now Gloria had another dilemma to deal with, somehow navigating herself back up through the trees. “Oh, this just gets better and better…” She flew up threw the trees trying to avoid each and every tree branch, if she hit even one, she’d be knocked out cold.
She emerged through the tree tops extending her wings to their full length. The pixie frantically searched the tree top for the swordsman. “This is too much!” She thought, shaking her head vigorously back and forth.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the bright red bandana he wore on his head. “There he is…” Gloria gave a small sigh of relief and almost casual hovered toward the swordsman.
When she reached him, he looked like he’d been through quite a lot. His face was cringed up, and it was obvious he was trying to take the shock from the falling tree all by himself. “Silly swordsman, that’s no way to live,” Gloria shook her head and grabbed him by his shoulders. “Hold on!”
Her wings were flapping a mile a minute, almost as fast as how fast her mind was formulating questions, “What just happened? Why did it happen? How are we going to find the leaf now? How did that tree get to be so big? Why does Niku wear a red bandana? Why am I so curious?”
Eventually, she was flying at a steady pace and her arms were burning from having to hold the swordsman up. Yet, still have an endless amount of questions, Gloria asked Niku how he was, “So, how’re ya’ holding up?” |
