OoC: Well, the title says it all. I'm using Zeon for this, link in thread
EDIT: Sorry for some misunderstandings, but it's going to be a 1vs1 battle.
That one word described this place, hot. And dry, not a single drop of water could someone find in this desert.
But Zeon didn’t mind. Thanks to his fire magic, he didn’t need much water in this place. Still, even he knew this place was hot.
If his mouth wasn’t so dry, he would’ve whistled a song to cheer him up. Now, he just walked in one straight line, climbing over rocks and sand. But, was he going in a straight line?
Zeon didn’t knew and Zeon didn’t care.
What he did cared about was a young, cheerful yet a bit stupid boy, Miro.
By the gods! Why didn’t he found him yet? Oh well, everything has his reasons, the old men said from his village. But this didn’t seemed right. Zeon almost wanted to turn back, until he realised he was lost, without any clue where he went to.
Going on, was the only thing that thrived him now.
And he hated it, almost as much as water.
His entire body was burned when he reached a small village.
The people are dressed funny here, Zeon thought, but maybe those clothes are useful against the sun.
A strange silhouette was standing in front of the well, he (or she, he couldn’t tell) was different from the villagers.
Bored from all the walking, Zeon walked at the stranger, hoping for a good fight.
The line kept walking, and walking under the blistering sun.The shackles around Carns neck and hands seemed to burn him. He kept sweating, even though he cooled himself off every so often when he congered(spl?) a handfull of water. The guard whipped any stragglers who fell, and if they fell down dead, unconsciese(spl?) they would be thrown into the lion cage the older boys were pulling.
how did i get into this mess? Carn thought.
He continued trudging along, when he saw a village. was it a vision? was it real? well they were heading for it so it must be. When they reached the well, Carn decided it was time. His hands shot out sparks as he clenched them. The shackles burst off in a blast of lightning. The guards spilled their drinks as they were watching the slaves. they ran over, scimitars drawn.
Carn stayed calm and fired a barrage of fire balls at them. They fell to the ground, charred into a black crisp. He ran over to a kart carrying supplies. He dug through and grabbed his stuff. He jumped down, and landed at the feet of a big guard. Carn drew his knife and stabbed the guard in the foot. The guard hopped around in pain, and Carn tripped him. He fell to the ground with a thud. He walked to the well panting from the escape, as if nothing had happened and got a cool drink. He looked over at what looked like an old man to him staring at him blankly.
" nice job kid" he said.
"thanks" Carn said, and took another sip.
ooc: well i didnt know if this was a battle between people or other guys, so i waited so you could post to get the fight going.
OoC: What about a little race/fight against those guards you mentioned?
BiC: Zeon looked interested at the boy who took a sip from the well. His clothes were raffled but were in a pretty good state, he had brown, messy hair The boy wasn’t a slave from birth.
”If I were you, I would hurry up with drinking.”
”Why?” The strange boy asked.
Zeon pointed in an empty alley : “In a few seconds, the other guards will appear and they’ll kill and/or torture you.”
”Is one slave so of importance?”
”No, but it’s to set an example to the other slaves.”
With this new information, the kid took another sip, until the predicted guards appeared. They were with five, each of them carrying a rusty looking sword and a whip. The young half-elf raised his hands.
”Wait, I’ll handle this.” Zeon said when he stepped forward.
One of the guards pointed at him and yelled something in a language unknown to the Derailï, and they all rushed at Zeon.
The old warrior raised a hand, revealing a silver spot in his palm, and shot several fireballs towards the guards. Each of them fell over on the ground, screaming.
Quickly, Zeon turned and yelled: “C’mon kid, run!”
Maybe it was because he was such a little boy, or maybe he couldn’t watch the injustice that was going to be dealt at the boy, but Zeon decided to help that kid.
This day was going to be interesting after all.
OoC: I'm hope you don't mind, I thought that a little run throughout that village would be a nice distraction. And our characters may fight eachother if you want.
ooc: i dont like fighting each other. it just turns into a never ending battle because no onee wants to lose. i am happy by your desicin(spl?)
bic: As the guards fell down in a smoldering mass, a guard walked out from behind a building.
he had been going to the bathroom when he heard some noise. he looked at his fellow guards and blew a horn. Zeon ran forward and yelled " fire sword!" he cleaved the guard in 2, and the guard's upper body fell to the ground. zeon kicked over the lower half, and the sword wreathed in flame went out. Carn took another sip of the water, but suddenly the bucket exploded. A guard on top of a barn shot had an arrow. Carn looked up and glared at the guard. He started swirling his hands around while the archer was knocking a new arrow. The guard smiled as he pulled back the string and took aim. suddenly, a giant colum(spl?) of water rose from the well, and flew at the guard. it hit him and knocked him off the building. he was shaking and coughing up water and blood.
stupid fool's back must be broken.
The water flew back into the well with a splash.1 arrow thudded into the wall beside Zeon's head, and another landed in the sand. then around the corner ran 6 more guards. they wore a blue tunic, with chainmail and a shield, wielding scimitars and short axes. the leader, who wore a helm nodded at Zeon and 3 ran towards him, and he nodded at Carn, and the other 2 ran at him. Zeon flung a fireball at one and he burst into flames and ran away screaming. he blocked anothers slice and stabbed him in the gut. the guard made a groaning sound as he slide off the sword onto the hot ground, and Zeon got ready for the other. he ran at him with a axe, screaming crazily. Zeon simply side stepped and sliced at the mans legs. the man writhed on the ground in pain.a wall of sand lifted in the air. The sand started glowing with heat, and Carn smiled. The superheated sand flew forward and seared through the men. Zeon grabbed the short axe and flung it at the leader as he started to run away. the leader crashed on the ground with an axe in his back. Carn and Zeon ran behind a building as arrows thumped into the ground. there were about 10 archers now. then they heard footsteps running into the clearing...
