The Alliance ( 2 v 2 )

OoC: Sarah! Welcome!

BiC: Elban entered the Battle Arena. The crowd arose in a roar of both cheer and jeer. Elban smiled and waved to the people. This would be his first ever duel with four people. He awaited his partner, Sarah to appear from the gate behind him. Despite his broken swrod, which had been shattered during his fight against the evil Leechaxe, it was still long enough to be wielded as a sword.

OoC: ^_^ This should be fun.

BiC: Sarah entered the Battle Arean for the second time, with many cheers sounding, and a few boos from the people who remembered her. Sarah couldn't blame them, last time she'd walked in here had been by mistake, and she and Elban had ended up doing nothing but talk. After Elban had told her what was going on, she decided she'd come back for another fight later, after she was rested, and let someone else come to challenge Elban. She and Elban had decided to do a team battle together, and it would be Sarah's first time to battle in the arena. She waved at the people in the stands and walked over to Elban.

"Hello Elban," she said. "Good to see you again. Ready to win?"

Elban smiled and nodded. "Hi Sarah. I sure am. All that's left now is to wait for our opponents, and then the battle can begin."

"Can't wait," Sarah said with a smile.

OoC: I'll give you someone that's a bit of a challenge. Meet Kenjin.

BiC:

Dark Kenjin's thirst for blood was disgusting almost to an extreme degree.

Yang had put up with his other half's bothering for too long, so they had decided that a day at a fight would put Dark's mind at ease.

"Let's sign in," Yang muttered to Dark's spirit form, not trying to look suspicious. after all, Dark's carnages would reign in the minds of men for all eternity. The last thing they needed was for Dark to attack the crowds.

I want to fight too, Dark thought back, glaring at passerbys.

"You will, but only when we're ready to show the crowd," Yang said back.

The arena was large, built to support four people. Two members of the fight were already on the pit, two puny humans to Dark. They would have little trouble on their own defeating them.

"Oh yes Dark, there is one thing I wanted to tell you," Yang muttered, just as they drew out into the crowd's view.

What? asked the evil half.

"We're going to have a partner," Yang said, gesturing behind them.

Dark's mouth opened to protest to their battle ally.

OoC: Remember me, Knight? Well, it's time for us to battle.

BiC: Chetarren walked into the arena, taking a few moments to glance about him. The stands were packed with screaming spectators eager to see the four fighters rip into each other. He snorted at their lust for warrior’s blood, and turned to face the humans he would be facing – and his temporary ally.

Yang Kenjin nodded amiably to the centaur, the Goddess Staff held in one hand. Chetarren raised his spear in a brief salute as he walked towards the Master of Sorcery, glad that it was Kenjin’s lighter side in control. He could see the Master of Darkness’ outrage at having to fight alongside the old centaur warrior, and smiled inside – a predator’s smile directed at his unknowing prey. There would be a reckoning for Kenjin’s dark side one day, and Chetarren would make sure he was there.

Standing beside his ally, the old warrior gestured at the two young humans on the other side of the arena. “I take it these are our opponents?” he asked.

“It would appear so,” Yang answered easily. “Now, if you will excuse me for a moment, I need to change.”

Knowing what was to come, Chetarren turned and cantered off to a safer distance. The force about to be unleashed was as likely to turn on him as the two humans they were here to face. The two Kenjins, light and dark, spoke in unison.

“Body swap!”

After a brief flash of light, the Master of Darkness stood in the arena, glaring at the other three warriors present.

"Dark Kenjin," sighed the demon. The old man's clothes turned to shadows, his bright eyes became white lights, and the demon known as Dark Kenjin reemerged. He turned with disgust to see his classmate, Chetarren the centaur.

"What are you doing here nag?" he asked in the evil voice that could only belong to the heartless savage, pulling the Demon Staff out from his shadowy body.

"Do not call me that again shadow, lest you wish to be slain," the old warrior retorted, returned the insult.

"I can't die nag, I'm immortal. And if I die, Yang dies," Kenjin answered with a sneer. "What are you doing here, shouldn't you be back in the Dome, playing slave to that woman Aurora?"

"We are Aurora's students, there is a difference demon," the centuar replied, bordering on furious at the shadow. How could he speak about Aurora with such disrespect. "I am nobody's slave."

"Uh, excuse me," asked one of the other fighters, the male, "are you going to fight?"

"I'll kill you if you don't get out of my sight now," the Master of Darkness answered hostily.

OoC: Pitiful that two supposedly experienced BA-er's feel the need to team up against two beginners. Aren't you confident enough in your abilities to fight people as strong as you both supposedly are? *evil grin* ~_^ Lol.

BiC: Sarah had been watching their two opponents. They both seemed very powerful, but they had spent most of their time since entering the arena bickering with each other. That would give her and Elban a slight advantage. They were already clearly enemies forced into a temporary allience, perhaps they could use that against them. After all, it's very difficult to beat someone when you can't quit fighting your own teammates.

"Elban," she said quietly, while the other two were yelling at each other. "We can use the fact that they're enemies against them. Try and keep them mad at each other, and perhaps we'll be able to win this."

Elban nodded. Then, getting bored, he addressed their opponents. "Um, excuse me," he asked. "Are you going to fight?"

The one that had just transformed glared hostily at Elban and replied venemously, "I'll kill you if you don't get out of my sight now."

"Really?" Elban said in a light tone of voice, gripping his sword. "Is that what you think? Well, I suppose there's no harm in allowing you to keep your delusions."

OoC: Well, I would have taken you both myself, but Knight did specify two on two. Power Shot will probably say the same.

BiC: Kenjin and Chetarren looked at the knight for a moment, then back at each other. The centuar spoke first. "I have no wish to fight alongside you, shadow, but this human is beginning to try my patience." The old warrior was still seething with anger at his classmate, but he kept it bottled up inside where it couldn't control him. "Perhaps we might do as he suggests and begin this battle?"

The Master of Darkness hissed his agreement, and turned his attention to the two puny humans before them, malevolent gaze raking over their mortal forms. "So long as we fight each other when we're finished," he said after a moment, his voice deep and menacing.

"Done," the centaur replied. With that, the old warrior settled back to wait for the signal to begin and freed the sledgehammer from the strap across his chest.

OoC: Sorry for how short this is.

OoC: I agree with everything Tiroth just said. I would have taken you both on, but like every good team, we just got into the Advance class, so we kick the living heck out of beginners for confidence. That's what Adam Sandler said in The Longest Yard.

BiC:

"I'm fighting first," Dark muttered to his spirited other half. It was his idea to join the fight, and what better way to train by fighting living opponents, and not the stupid training doll.

That will be fine, answered Yang, who was quite content to watching the show. You won't be needing me to beat them anyway.

"Horse, let's give them a good show," Kenjin sneered, happy to see he got to the centuar.

"I'm going to eradicate you when I'm through with them," Chetarren seethed through gritted teeth.

"Sounds fun, but I though we were saving that until after I kill Aurora," Kenjin smirked, and waited for the starting bell.

OoC: Well, Well, Well. Have we had fun since I was gone? I see we have got some very cocky opponents here Southern Belle. They obviously underestimate our abilities. This shall change shortly. Promise.

BiC: Elban had had enough of this fuedal talk. He had a plan, or, rather, a hope. He raised the Shattered sword above his head with a sudden burt of blinding white light, the arena lit up and the blade burst into a white flame. The heat from it radiated down through the hilt. Elban then prepared his shield. He glanced at Sarah for moment, then, with a loud voice, he bellowed to the foes across the arena pit.
" Let it be known, fiends of evil, that I, Elban, the chosen knight of our kings and the warden of all that is good, shall spare ye mercy. No matter how evil or what acts you have comitted. I shall not fight evil with evil, but fight evil with good. Now, for it Sarah! Our greatest fight yet! Let it begin!"
And with a charge of fury both Sarah and the Knight of Justice made their way across the arena. Elban made sure to avoid the Master of Darkness, as he felt his blade weaken as he passed the shadow that was him. Elban could not see him for some reason. Elban figured that since the man was so evil, Elban, being of good heart, could not catch sight of him.

The centaur was the first on Elbans list. The Centaur was cuaght by surprise when Elbans shattered blade came across his jaw. The centaur then reeled forward for the attack, the sledge hammer cuaght Elban in the chest. The chain mail took most of the hit, but it left Elban out of breath and on the ground. The centaur laughed...until two daggers found themselves embedded in his eyes. Sarah, to Elbans utter surprise and respect, had just gauged the creatures eyes out. It retreated screaming in pain.
" Insolent animal." Said a voice not far off. Its tone reeked of foul things and thoughts. And Elban felt himself drifting into shadow, when suddenly Sarah picked him up and screamed:

" Up! Up! Something aweful comes this way!"

OoC: There, try that on for size boyz and galz!

OoC: I want to win this so bad, I came back for more. LOL! CHARGE!

BiC: Suddenly, like a gale at sea, a great wind blew both Elban, Sarah and the blind centaur over. It continued to blow. It was a visibly black wind and Elban could make out two deep, red slits. They were eyes. The arena was covered in shadow, and all was howling and wailing with the black wind. Then, the arena went pitch black. Through the deep dark, aside from the screaming wind, Elban heard the most evil voice whisper something next his ear. " Come Hither, Mortal. Come Hither so that I may tear your heart from your chest."
It was at this point in time, that a number of things happened.

Sarah let out a banshee like scream and tried to hold Elban down. But, despite the pain in his body from the hit recieved by the centaur he rose to his feet. Then, with a crackle and bang, Elbans sword cut through the darkness, its light and flames flickering like a candle in the wind. Elban held his shield in a defensive position, and despite the wind trying to push back down, and Sarah grasping and pleading Elban took one step forward.

" Finish it." He said quietly.

A great explosive force erupted sending sand and everyone in the arena outwards from the shadow. Elban hit the ground, hurt and bruised but not yet dead, however, his shield had left his hand and as the dust settled down, Elban saw that it was destroyed. Now, all Elban had to fight with was a broken sword and a willing ally. Elban thanked his stars he was not alone. Sarah suddenly came down on top of him. She jumped off him and turned to face the evil thing that had just tried to kill them both.
Elban looked at Sarah and saw that a piece of metal from the stands had found itself lodged in her leg. But it seemed to have no effect on her. Elbans respect rose to a great degree for the warrior princess as he would later call her.

Elban Slowly rose to his feet. His pains and fatigue growing. The centaur was now nowhere to be found. However, a great, and armored man now stood in the center of the arena. Sarah made to charge at him, but Elban held her back until she calmed down. It was a bit of work that part.

" You two are more than I suspected. I should have geussed. This shall be an interesting fight I see. Not the easy KO fight I had expected."

" Your power is great." Elban said. Sarah snorted at this, wiping a dribble of blood from her lips." But it is the light of hope that shall prevail, no matter of who lives and who dies. Because for all your power, you lack one thing."

" Explain, Sir Knight, What that may be..." The Man Mocked.

" A soul!" Screamed Sarah and at that, the man laughed. He drew a great, heavy blade, stuck int he ground. The floor of the pit erupted sending a crack between Elban and Sarah. The two sides parted, dropping into a firey pit. The man however, stood on a circular chunk of earth between the two chasms. Safe and sound. he proclaimed to both Sarah and Elban in a loud evil laugh.

" Now, let the real battle begin."

OoC: Uhhhh...little confused here. Who the heck is the knight that just decimated the arena? Lol, the "warrior princess" line really cracked me up. I feel like Zena! ^_^ Oh, and, just for future reference, you're making Sarah talk as if she was from Elban's time. She's a 21st century poet from Texas, so their manners of speech, not to mention the things they'd be likely to say, are very different. Hmmm...I'm gonna hold off continuing the battle till someone enlightens me about evil demon dude #2. ^_^

OoC: Evil demon dude? This is Kenjin you're dealing with, and it's time to show off a new upgrade.

BiC:

Dark Kenjin appeared amists the rubble. Chetarren could not see, but could sence the evil radiating from his.

"It appeares that the motrals wish to defy us," Dark said softly to his brother.

Let us aid Chetarren, the other agreed, preparing his own magic.

"Kenjin Chaos Fusion!"

All of the light and darkness broke forth from the earth, as the Masters of Light and Darkness joined forces to form Kenjin, Master of Sorcery. The white robe melted into one side with the shadows. The face became one of an old man with white eyes, and black shadows for hair. The gigantic force touched down, and made its way towards the blind centaur.

"What is happening?" the centuar asked himself, feeling a warm hand nearby.

"My powers have been fused, wise one," came the resonating voices of both masters. "Element of Life!" A pink element crossed towards the master while the two opponents stood in facination as the eyes healed to normal. Chetarren opened them to see Kenjin's fused form for the first time.

"Thank you," he said back.

"That won't be neccassary," Kenjin muttered, turning his focus to the two humans. "I've learned a new trick."

He clapped his hands together, forming a pistol with his fingers. "Kenjin Chaos Gunner!" he shouted.

Sarah and Elban didn't have time to dodge, for in less than the time they could blink, hundreds of tiny energy beams had made contact, and knocked them to the ground.

They rose, but were knocked down again as Kenjin blasted them with another round. "You are patheticly weak for my full form."

With a flash of light, the fused Kenjin dissapeared, replaced with the Master of Light. Twirling the Goddess Staff, he waited for the children to make their next weak move.

OoC: Knight, during battles, you really shouldn't post twice in a row. It doesn't allow people time to react to what has already been written.

OoC: Ahhh...Okay. That's what I was thinking at first, just I didn't think Kenjin had armor. So, there's no evil demon dude #2, just the original evil demon dude. ^_^

BiC: Sarah slowly struggled up. Her body ached from the repeated energy blasts. "Great," she thought, groaning inwardly. "I've got one hit in so far and already I feel like someone's dropped an anvil on me."

The warrior was standing, in his original form he had entered the arena in, watching them with a contemptuous look on his face and twirling his staff absent-mindedly. Sarah shook her head sligthtly, a little dazed. She had known her opponants were both powerful, but she would never have guessed how much so. She watched him through narrowed eyes as Elban got up beside her and regained his sword. Upon seeing Elban pick his weapon up, Sarah realized that her daggers had flown a few feet behind them when they were blasted back by the energy blast. Hastily, she went over and picked them up.

"Evil fiend," Elban said, quietly but distinctly. "You have great power, but you shall not prevail. I shall make sure of that."

"Hah," their opponent laughed. "Well, you've certainly proved you're capable of doing so so far. You haven't set us back at all, yet you're both almost certainly aching and tired after that barrage of blasts."

Elban yelled and charged straight for him. He brought his broken sword in a great swinging arc; a very pretty and elegant attack to watch, but not very practical as it gave his opponent plenty of time to bring his white staff in under the swing and knock Elban away without the sword even touching him. The blow threw the knight back, landing a few feet away.

Sarah had been running towards the sorceror while Elban swung, but the centaur, seeing her move, had come to intercept her. He got a blow in with his warhammer, briefly winding Sarah. She recovered quickly however, and brought her right dagger up quickly to slash his side. She got in a small cut, but nothing serious. She jumped back as the centaur again swung at her, and kicked him in the stomach. She wondered how Elban was doing against their other opponent, but fighting the centaur took up her full attention, so she couldn't look over and check.

OOC: That's a pretty high kick Sarah has. Pity it won't bother Chetarren much.

BiC: Carefully controlling his feelings of rage, Chetarren brought the head of his sledgehammer round to fend off another attack from the irritating human female in front of him. The steel head knocked the slim blade flying from her hand and made her cry out in shock at the strength of the blow. During the brief moment she was discomfitted, the old warrior turned abruptly away from her and hurled his spear towards the knight battling Kenjin on the other side of the arena. The seven-foot spear, thrown with the strength of a centaur, embedded itself in the fleshy part of Elban's leg.

Without looking, Chetarren flung his now-free hand behind him and caught Sarah where her neck met her chest. The backhanded blow lifted the woman off her feet, sending her spreeling several metres behind where she had been standing.

Leaving the blonde-haired girl in a sprawled heap, the centaur warrior galloped straight for the one human of the hundreds there that had been irritating him the most since he entered the arena - Sir Elban. Coming swiftly up on the knight's blind side, he bowled the armoured warrior over before he could fully react to the centaur's sudden presence beside him.

"For your information, human," he growled, "I am no less evil than you or your companion." After staring into the young knight's face for a moment, he added, "Probably less so." With that, he flung the hapless human warrior towards Sarah at the other side of the arena, jerking his spear from the man's leg in the process.

Gesturing to their two injured opponents, Chetarren turned to Kenjin and asked, "Which of them do you want?"

OoC: Oops, forgot that stomachs are a lot higher up on centaurs. Lol, oh well. ^_^

"I think I'll take the woman," Yang Kenjin answered, running back into the fight.

"All right," the centuar responed, he liked Yang better than Dark. "Charge!"

The two turned towards their injured foes. Yang raised his staff.

"Healing Force!" he shouted, recharging the foes with new vigor. Chetarren looked at him like he was a madman. "It doesn't bring joy to harm the weak," Yang spoke sagely, before rushing in to engage his foe.

Chetarren must have thought him insane, a fighter that heals his foes to full power, but joined the Master of Light anyway.

Sarah was full of power, and ready to show it to the master.

OoC: A bit short, but I feel the newcomers deserved a power recharge after dealing with two advance fighters.

OoC: Sorry it's been awhile. I just discovered an old forum that I'd thought was dead but wasn't, and it's been taking up my time the past few days. ^_^

BiC: Sarah watched in bewilderment as the master of light healed her and Elban. She felt amazing, like she'd just spent the last two weeks in a luxery spa. She looked questioningly at the master of light, as did the centaur.

"It doesn't bring joy to harm the weak," he said in answer to the unasked question. He then rushed at Sarah. He brought up his staff to hit her on the side, but Sarah backed up hastily to avoid the swing. She then lashed out with her right dagger at the side of his chest, but the master of light blocked her attack as easily as if he were brushing off a cobweb he'd just walked through. Undeterred(sp?), Sarah made to slash with her left dagger, then brought her right dagger strait towards her opponent's gut. It looked as if it would work, but she had barely pierced the skin before he hit her back with his staff, pushing her, and her dagger, away. He struck out with the staff and hit her on the shoulder, causing her to wince slightly. She kicked him in the legs, and made contact finally, but it didn't seem to do any damage at all. The man didn't even wince. Sarah sighed in frustration and glared at her opponent, trying furiously to think of something that would work against him.

OoC: Sorry it's so short and...erm...not very good. I'm not feeling very creative right now. <.< >.>

OoC: Well, that's enough to allow me another post. ^_^ I think it's about time Knight had another one, though.

BiC: Shaking his head at Yang Kenjin’s choice of tactic, Chetarren moved slowly towards Sir Elban. His hazel eyes studied the human warrior that had irritated him so much, his gaze dancing over his battered armour and now-healed body. The centaur snorted when the human’s gaze met his own, allowing a measure of contempt for his weaker opponent to show on his face. The knight’s eyes narrowed after that, and he gripped the hilt of his broken weapon harder than before.

Wordlessly, Elban charged towards the centaur, his weapon held before him to strike at the old warrior when he came in range. But the knight never got his chance – Chetarren struck out with his spear, forcing the human warrior to dodge to one side. The centaur’s sledgehammer was there to meet him, knocking the breath from his lungs with the impact and sending Elban’s weapon flying from his hand.

While the knight was being beaten to a pulp by his veteran opponent, his partner was having her own problems. The Master of Light stood in front of her, the Goddess Staff swinging apparently at random to block her every move. Yang Kenjin’s skill with the ancient weapon was frightening to behold as he knocked Sarah’s daggers away again and again. The young woman was beginning to tire, but didn’t dare let up for fear of what Kenjin could do.

Things were looking bleak for the two human warriors. Their opponents were older, more experienced, stronger, and faster than they were, even after Yang Kenjin had healed the wounds they had sustained early in the fight. Even as they thought, the two desperately tried to think of some strategy, some edge they could gain that would allow them to defeat these far stronger opponents.

OoC: Come on, you two - turn us on each other! Figure out how to do that, and you might still win!

OoC: :mad::mad::moodswingARGH!!!!! *pulls out hair* For those of you who don't know, I have now been abandoned by Knight. He's left ZU for awhile at least. *shakes head* And I thought this battle was tough before. I'll edit this post when I figure out how in heck Sarah's going to fight the two of you. Lol. Hey, is that a tunnel I see? *gasp* What's that bright light?!

OoC: Sorry it's taken so long for me to post guys. I haven't been in here for awhile cause, well, truth be told, I was kinda avoiding it. Lol. I'm not really sure what I'm gonna do against the both of you, but, I intend to stick it out, so, here's my post. *winces and waits to get creamed* Lol. ^_^

BiC: While Sarah was struggling against the master of light, Elban was getting pounded by the centaur. Elban was determined, and never let up, but the repeated blows from the hammar and spear were taking their toll. The centaur warrior was simply more experienced. Eventually, he landed a hard blow to Elban's head, sending him flying. He hit the ground in a jumbled sprawl, and didn't get up. The final blow had rendered him unconsious.

Hearing mixed gasps and cheers from the crowd, Sarah looked up for a moment from her fight. She barely had time to register seeing her compainion sprawled like a doll when she was knocked back by a full blow to the stomach. She looked up from the ground at her opponent. Stupid! She thought. Why'd I let my guard down? She got up, wincing, to face her opponent.

The centaur, no longer having an opponant, walked over to the master of light. "Still haven't finished off that girl?" he asked scornfully. "Need some help?"

The master of light smiled. "I don't think that'll be necessary. She looks almost finished anyways, you can just relax now."

Sarah glared at this comment, but, she couldn't really say anything to refute it. Not knowing what else to do, and horribly desperate, she threw one of her daggers hard and fast at her opponent. While the centaur was trying to get out of the way, she launched the other one straight for the master of light, hoping her diversionary tactic had worked.

OoC: Gah, this is tough. Lol. I don't know what else to do really, so, I'm leaving it off here for one of you two to reply to. Why'd my partner have to be the one to leave? We're the ones that needed the advantage! Lol. ^_^
