Cold Steel Coffin [Wisp Quill]

Sera continued walking straight ahead. Whatever the person behind her was trying to do was failing. She looked as if she was trying to direct the girl into some area as she weaved behind her. This person was not human, and she could see it as clear as day. The aura as vastly different; and odd, compared to anything else. She'd never seen any one like that.

Evelyne couldn't help but grin for a second. Glad she's smart, but now I need a new tactic..., she thought as she continued to follow, before ducking into another narrow alleyway.

Vernix was still following the target, up on the roofs above, gauging a potential leap. Upon seeing her master leave, the spider knew it should try one now. Anchoring a web-line to the roof, it waited for the prey to close the gap, and leapt down.

Pop.

She stopped walking. There was something light, soft on her hair. She felt it press on her lightly, and tug at the grains, as if some kind of insect or something had landed on her hair. Quickly, she brushed it off, curling her fingers to grab whatever it was and toss it away. "You should try smaller prey." She said to the creature as it went hurtling through the air, before turning and continuing to walk away.

((OoC: I hope this is ok with you, as it's more "attempt" attacks than anything. ^^" Only idea I could come up with either. Let me know if you want it changed.))

Vernix didn't appreciate the rough grab, only managing to nip a finger before hitting the wall. As she righted herself, hissing louder, the spider lept at Sera again. Landing on her arm, it started heading towards her sleeve quickly.

All the while Evelyne made her attempt now, with her right hand on the shoulder and left holding the knife close to her prey's throat. This may have been made easy to dodge, except of the second knife, jabbing into her jacket, from a strange third arm.

And at the very same time, in the same moment that she swept away the returning spider, a bulge appeared at the back of her jacket, pressing into her attacker's stomach. There was the sound of a gun clicking, readying itself to be fired. "Haa," It was like a sigh and a laugh in one, and it was one of expectation, as if she'd anticipated something like this happening.

At this range the faster weapon would be the gun pressed against her attacked from behind. She stood completely still however, as knives could still be just as dangerous.

Evelyne couldn't help but grin, Nice attempt. Weighing her options fast, she chose a quick, yet weak leg sweep and vaulting over her prey, the third limb slashing at the back.

Vernix creeped inside the sleeve, biting into Sera's arm, below the elbow. the spider let a mild amount of the numbing venom out, about an ounce worth, before releasing and jumping out. Her master knew that much would at least make her lose most use of that section, plus the hand.

"Ah!" She cried out, more from the bite than from being swept off her feet. She was aware enough to escape the meager slash, and contained herself enough to land on her feet again. She shook her arm up and down, a tingling sensation running through it, as if she'd rested on it for a long time.

"So the spider's your pet." She said, half smirking. Quickly shaking her arm as if it had some goo or muck stuck on it. "Interesting." She wiggled her fingers in front of her face. Still mobile, just numb. "Alright! Sa tahad mängid? Mängime!"

OoC: "You want to play? Let's play!"

Her third limb snaked back under her shirt, transferring the blade to the other hand. Evelyne weighed her options, more playing with Sera than wanting to kill. As the Feran shifted her weight, some silver strands showed on her jacket, some of her pets web lines. Added into how she sensed Sera, her pets could aid her with air pressures and wind change.

She opted to head to the girl's left, and her numbed arm, but moved slowly, still wanting to see what Sera could do.

She had taken her arm out of her jacket's and tucked it away, so the left side of her jacket was just merely hung on to her shoulder. She figured the arm wouldn't be of a lot of use right now so she decided to not waste any energy trying to move it. All the while, she kept her eyes on her attacker. The person seemed to be just prancing; like... feeling her out. Sera just stood there, watching. She wasn't going to make the first move, but the first reaction.

Vernix stayed away from this, mostly as an observer, but also wanting another opportunity to attack again, even if it meant taking out another arm. It was nestled under a shingle from an old home nearby.

Evelyne wasn't one to make the first move either, but being at a stand-still bored her. One of her secondary limbs grasped a metal fragment she picked up from an alley. It emerged fast and flung the shard towards Sera, aiming around her chest.

They were just standing around, feeling each other out. The creature (no longer a girl because of her arms) moved slowly. Just observing. And in a flash, she grasped a piece of metal and flung it towards Sera just to see what she would do. The girl just calmly turned her body, stepping to once side and allowing the projectile to graze past. She would not reveal more than the creature had already seen.

The arm folded back into her shirt, as Evelyne stepped a bit closer. Her eyes paled a bit more, having been a good while since she last fed, and slowly focused more on Sera. The draining was normally slow, but at least she could feel a bit better. The girl however, would slowly feel weakened over time.

Tomb decided to join in, but dropped to the ground, easily standing out with it's coloration. It started to skitter over to Sera, making a sound similar to bones creaking as it moved - not from it's legs, but it was becoming more vocal.

The chittering of tiny creaking bones caught her ear and then its coloration caught her eyes. Such a bold move it was, making her pet of that colour run right at her. She only glimpsed at it and turned her eyes back to the girl. With a quick draw, she pulled Dreadnaught from her holster and fired it, hitting the dirt just in front of Tomb. The gun's sound resounded, thunderous, and it echoed loudly against the walls around them.

Tomb managed to pause for a brief second, before continuing it's charge, a bit faster than before, clattering louder as well.

The assassin just stood there, rubbing an ear for a bit, "I've heard louder in storms..." as she walked to the right, knowing by now her other hand should be unusable by now. Her added limbs grasped her knives quickly, readying them for an attack, but Evelyne resisted the temptation to lunge, drawing more of the girl's energy towards herself.

Säiliv, she watched the spider rush towards her as she put her hand back under her coat, holstering her gun. With that same hand she re-summoned her sheathed blade. When the chittering critter had reached close enough, the scabbard emerged and quickly slapped it away as if it were a light stone, sending the arachnid several meters flying from where she was standing.

"No interest in playing with your pets. Väiksed vennad," She shrugged a little, smiling, "And if that's all you're going to do. Then I don't need to stick around any longer."

"I'm no one-trick jester, honey," the assassin said with a chuckle that shifted halfway into a chitter from a spider, like her pet's. Evelyne charged right at the girl, knowing with a sword that one hand would be hard.

Her blades stayed at her side, as the Feran kept her guard up, aware thanks to Marble and the air rushing past the web-lines.

Sera watched her attacker charge right at her, and smiled. No one trick pony, she says. "Jah, but you seem to be repeating the same move." She stood still, gripping her sheathed sword tightly, one foot back in case she needed to get out of the way fast.

As Evelyne charged, her drain kicked up around Sera. Something triggered from the Feran's feeding, and giddiness - her hunger transformation. The vampire's legs broke apart, only to be replaced by six more, in nearly a minute from the rush. Her daggers dropped to the ground, only to be picked up by Tomb and Vernix, who darted off somewhere else.

The now hybrid Eve slashed towards he mark with her pedipalp blade, aiming for her chest.

"That's new." She muttered under her breath, a bit of surprise sprinkled in her tone. Her eyes quickly flashed over the altered advancing form of her attacker. She seemed more animalistic in nature now. Not just her form, but her movements were... rougher, in a sense. She attacked swiftly with her arm-blade, only for it to be deflected by Sera countering, raising the sheathed sword and knocking the blade away with it. Another attack swiftly came from the other side, and again she knocked it away before jumping backwards, a small ways out of the creature's reach.

The spider in her kept vying for control still, as Evelyne pressed her attack faster. Every step was exact, as she knew what exactly to do in this state, however chaotic it seemed. Liquid dripped out from her free hand, coagulating into thin, ghostly threads.

As the hybrid Feran struck again, she lashed out with a swipe from a leg as well, her fingers weaving a slowly growing rope. Her web was much stronger than a normal spider's to be exact, well enough to lift at least three fully grown men off the ground by five to ten inches.
