Dark Secrets

OoC: For this RP I'll use Amalia, and this is an OPEN rp. The basic plot: a mysteriously dark city has a mysterious hotel of some sorts in which something isn't right, and the characters go and investigate. This idea came to me while playing Dreamfall: the longest journey. For those of you who have played it, I am sure you know which part I am talking about. Please PM or VM me before joining.

BiC: "I will have a glass of wine and a sandwich." I said to the waitress of the restaurant. I had arrived in Gorge City merely a few minutes ago, and I already hated the place. It was filthy, the black market was everywhere, it rained constantly and it was always night for some reason, as my sources claimed. The fact that the houses were all painted black or grey didn't help the surroundings seem more comfortable, and the bright neon shields everywhere were enough to give one a migraine. I sighed and leaned back in my chair. This was the only decent restaurant around. Everything else was either a bar or a fast food shop.

The waiter soon returned with my food and wine which I drank and ate, and even after that I just sat there and stared blankly out of the window, thinking about the task that was just given to me in an encrypted message. Even after it was translated, it still sounded very sinister.

One way in, One way out.
People who enter have no doubt.
People who leave still have none,
as all the people who've entered have long been gone.
Where they are, no one knows,
This task I unto you bestow.
Set out and find the source of this doing,
I trust you to do this, so here I here I hope you do well in your bidding.

Why it was written in rhymes I had no idea, and I really didn't want to know, bu the task sounded dangerous.

"Best if I get someone to accompany me..." I said out loud with a sigh. After this I would go straight to New London and visit dad for a while.
