OoC: For this RP, I will use Winter, who can be found in my sig. As always, contact me with a pm before posting anything.
BiC: I stared at the ocean from the deck of the cruiser on which I was. The waves were peacefully rising and sinking, the seagulls singing, and the scent of sea salt in the air together with the soft wind and the sun beautifully setting in the horizon, made the world seem almost perfect, and for one in my life, I didn't feel nervous surrounded by so much water. In the west, a small ship was appearing on the horizon, but I couldn't care less. For the first time since I left home, I actually felt relaxed. I sat down with my back leaning against an empty barrel, and slept.
I am not sure how long I slept, but when I woke up, it was pitch dark. I didn't remember being in a cold dark prison cell when I fell asleep. But I sensed I wasn't alone. Someone else was in there with me.
OoC: I am planning to make that Winter and whoever's character try to escape from a pirate prison
OoC: I sent you a P.M. about Great Oceans, and you changed the name.
BiC: Stepping through the Veil of time was no small feat. So many equations and variables to think about, and then the cold hard action of doing it was nauseating. And this is the time you chose to break down on a pirate ship..... I thought disdainfully to myself as I sat back in the cell. My contact from the underworld said this ride was to somewhere important, and he was probably right. My plan was to go below deck and stay hidden, but some one had the deck runed against such magic, so I landed face first on the deck, scaring the bejeebees out of some of the pirates. And, somehow, these witless pirates had a mage, that drew a thunderbolt and shorted my circuits.
After a time, the sound of cannons firing woke me out of half-sleep (for that is as far as I can get without shutting all systems down). I listened for a few moments, and heard the barbaric war-crys of the pirates as they boarded the ship, and heard some of them coming back, landing heavier, so they had hostages. Some pirates ran past my cell, women and children screaming in their arms. Above, I heard a few murmurs. ".............interesting............ doesn't matter............. in with the other........." I had to assume the other meant me, but I could have been wrong.
I was right, as it happened. They threw a sleeping, more than likely drugged cat-creature into my cell. I dug around in my knapsack for a de-tox drug and the piece of rubber I kept in here. I also dug out smelling salts, just to hurry up the awakening. I put the de-tox drug in his mouth, he swallowed, I waved a bottle of the smelling salt under his nose, and he woke. "Howdy, friend. I reckon them pirates up d'ere don't like ye to much." I said, taking on a western accent.
BiC: "Howdy, friend. I reckon them pirates up d'ere don't like ye to much." A stranger said with a strange accent, who apparently had been sitting next to me this whole time without me noticing.
"Who are you? I asked. "And where am I?"
OoC: I know, this is very short, but this is all I could come up with. for now.
“Yes. I made it,” Nis whispered to herself finally making it to the captain cabin of the pirate ship. It took all she had to seek through the boat, but she finally made it. She rested in the lower corner of the room wondering where the item she was looking for could be at. Better start looking. She thought to herself getting up again and walked to the desk.
She hopped in the large chair relaxing her body as she glanced over the top of the desk. She saw nothing, but maps and other papers she wasn’t sure what they were. She open the middle draw looking through it finding nothing interesting to her.
“Damn.” She yelled at herself trying to stay very quiet. She opened another large drawer looking through many folder and bags of gold and jewels putting only the rarest ones in her pocket. “****. It not here. Where could it be?” She asked herself getting pissed off.
She wonder over to another shelf in the room and glanced through the many items on it. She was busy looking around she hadn’t noticed the small crew of people that came in. “How do you like it? Find anything you like?”
“Not really everything is garbage. Though, I hard you had something interesting on this ship Capitan. Mind telling me about it?” She replied as she kept looking. She wasn’t worried that they found her. She knew in her line of business your bound to get caught once in awhile.
“Lock her up with the other two.” He replied back as he left the room leaving Nis to be taken away.
She crashed on the hard floor breathing a bit hard, but she smiled back at the pirate. “I’ll see you letter.” She said feeling the ropes tightly bound to her hands, upper arms and legs. She wormed to the wall and work her way into a seating position.
She noticed her guest in the cell with her and wonder what they did. “Did you two get caught trying to take stuff also?” She asked almost laughing to herself. She waited to hear the door close before reaching for her hidden knife they didn’t find on her.
“This sucks. I got to get my weapons back now. While finding what I can for.” She said cutting the ropes on her legs free.
When the woman was thrown in, needless to say I was surprised. I had just told the cat-creature my name, and was about to ask him his, and the door fly's open, and thrown in is a not-to-bad looking lady. "''Ey! That ain't no way to treat a lady!" I yell at the pirate while the woman was wriggling to the wall. “Did you two get caught trying to take stuff also?” She asked, laughing to herself. Then she reached Up the leg of her dress and pulled out a small dagger, cutting off the ropes that held her. "Let me help you with that, m'aam." I said, kneeling behind her and ejecting my own blade, covering it with my body so the cat wouldn't see.
"And to your earlier question, m'aam, I didn't get caught trying to steal anythin', I was just in da wrong place at da wrong time." I said, while she was stretching her muscles, working out the soreness. " 'Dem pirates don't know how to treat women, do they. I believe introductions are in order. A'm Billy."
OoC: Somehow, Nis reminds me of Nami from One Piece
BiC: "Sorry that I haven't introduced myself yet." I said. "My name is Winter T-tat-t-suko." At that moment my eyes got used to the dim light of our cell and I saw the woman. Originally I was kind of racist, and I thought that only women from my race looked beautiful, but this woman was really something. "I don't know how I got here." I walked over to the door and touched it. Simple bronze. It wasn't very hard at all. I took out my time-sweeper and smashed it. As my blade descended, I noticed that something was wrong. Why weren't my weapons taken away? My time-sweeper smashed against the door, and at the same time, an extremely powerful shock ran through my body and I was thrown across the cell, were I hit the woman. The cell door opened, and I thought that happened because I hit it, but then several dark figures entered our cell. First, Billy fainted, then the woman, then I felt how my energy was slowly drained and fainted lastly.
Nis eyes slowly opened after fainting soon after watching one of her cell mates trying to break out. Her strength felt drained for whatever reason, but she felt a warm body resting against her body. She couldn’t make much out of the room, but she didn’t felt any chains or ropes around her. This was a relief to her as she felt her hand on the body that rest on top of her. It was an odd it felt like fur of animal was next to her. She would have jumped if her wasn’t so tired.
“Och!” she yelled grabbing her head. “Didn’t anyone teaching them to leave through the back door.”
She said mostly to herself as she closed her eyes. “Damn.”
"Idiot...." I say, waking up from my fake unconsciousness. I look over at the women and Winter, and lift winter off of her. Her eyelids flutter, and she opened them the rest of the way. I nodded at her, putting down Winter on another wall, and put out my hand. "Would you like some help up?" I said. She nodded groggily, taking my hand and I pulled her up.
Nis rested against the wall tired and drain from whatever they did to her. She was shock that the other man didn’t seem to be in as bad of shape as her. She didn’t put much more thought into it just guessing it must have been some kind of magic. “He going to get me killed.” She said looking at the strange creature that was one top of her.
“But as much as leaving him here would be earlier I would hate to live with myself later.” She said glancing over at the other man in the cell. “Can you wait him up and keep him from doing something else reckless?” She asked smiling as much has she could dropping to the floor to seat. “I’ll introduce myself after everyone awake again.”
I woke up after a while, and found that the others were staring at me. "HOW DO I GET OUT OF HERE?!?!?" I yelled, ran, and smashed my fists against the door. Once again I was electrocuted and was sent shooting off to the other side of the room. The woman managed to dodge me this time, and I smacked against the wall. This time the impact wasn't too hard and I didn't faint.
"Will ya stop freaking out so we can think? Or are you a hyper-active kitty that does first, and doesn't learn from his mistakes? Pounding on the door obviously doesn't work" I said, almost losing the accent, but able to keep it on. "Why don't we try looking for another exit?"
At first I took it as an offence and was about to say something, when I realized that what he said made a lot of sense. "I guess you're right." I said, as I scanned the room. Somewhere there had to be some sort of weak-spot. There, in the right corner of the ceiling was a large crack, which I found odd, since I hadn't noticed it before. I ran to the wall, jumped, and preformed a wall-kick, then smashed the crack with my time-sweeper. Instantly, a hole appeared. "That should take care of it." I said, then looked at the woman. "Ladies first."
First he tries to break out the first door. Than he gets blown into me. Tries to get me killed twice with his foolishness. Now he wants to be kind enough to let me break out first? What kind of fool is he? She thought still not feeling well, but better than before. “I think you should head up first. You seem to be able to get up by yourself and strong enough to stop anyone that might be up there.”
She looked back at the other guy that seem to be using his brain. “Umm.. He’ll help me up after you and I’ll grab him from the top after that. We need a guard up there first though. This is no time to act with modest.” She said holding her head; it still had hurt like hell.
"Alright." I said, than notices her head still hurt. "Swallow this before ya go. It'll get rid of that headache lickity-split." I said, reaching into my pouch and tossing a small pill to her. "Just swallow it."
"Very well." I said and was about to jump up, when the door opened and about 20 men rushed in. I tried to fight, but one of them rushed towards me before I could react, put a sack over my head and held a blade against my throat. "Your comin' with us now." I heard someone say near the door. "We'll sell the cat and the man after our next depart, but keep the lady, we need a knew cook. I was lead out of the room and down some sort of hallway, although it was tough to say due to the fact that my head was covered. But one thing I knew, the others were also getting led to the same place as me. after a while I noticed something. The ground beneath me stopped swaying, and I knew I was once again on dry land. After a while, I was pushed into a cell and the sack was lifted. The woman and Billy were already inside. I surveyed the room as the door closed tightly. Unlike the other cell, this was made of stone. It was cylindrical with a window in the ceiling that was at least 30 meters of the ground, letting the moonlight in. The worst part was that I couldn't jump that high, the walls were to far apart to do a wall kick, and even if I used my battle-staff, I would be too tired to get up there.
"The people out there are idiots, leaving the keys within twenty feet of the door." I said, not bothering with the accent anymore. "What you are about to see will be a little disconcerting." I said, turning on the aim sight in my eyes, and looking towards the keys, through the bars. I fired, and the keys hit the blood notch in my blade, catching and bringing them back to the bars. "Any questions?" I said, picking up the keys.
