Love the Angel thing more than anything on earth. She's so cool... @_@ |
Oh, no offense taken. In fact, I agree. Shade and LEA are definitely better writers than us. Shade's just plain nuts, that's all there is to it; but that's what makes him such an awesome battler. He comes up with these crazy ideas out of nowhere, like Heiketsuga and Soliere. Heheh...who doesn't love summoning? Innocence is a brilliant example of Shade's "crazy idea" technique, I think. I'm glad he decided to go all out, and really make the best use of Ja'gan. Tying the histories of Ja'gan and Kyros was
definitely a good move on my part, because it gave him the incentive he needed to just lose it. ^_^ Ideas like that just come to me from time to time, but not nearly often enough in my opinion. It feels odd say this, but I wish I was as crazy as Shade!
LEA is just...wow. Character development galore, and written in such a fascinating manner. I love LEA's ability to describe things in such a poetic sense that you can't help but be drawn to her technique. I'm really torn between whether to fight Sileya or Mariana first. Since I can't imagine any of my characters wanting to inflict harm on Mariana (except Giathra, naturally), we would have to have a common foe. ...Hold the muffins... By George, I've got it! That's it, LEA! ^_^ She could fight Giathra! Why didn't I think of it before? And since she's...whoops... Heehee, almost let it slip.

But you get the idea.
Yes, LEA is definitely a fantastic writer, though I'm not
completely certain I would place Shade on her level. Hmm...I'll have to examine their styles more closely to determine just how close they are. But when you think about it, their techniques are so different. Can you really compare them?
My only real strength, I'd have to say, is...hmm... You know what? I don't even know what my strength in writing is. That's odd. I've never really thought about it before... Well, this certainly gives me something to think about. *wanders off in an introspective monologue*

Oh, and when I get a chance I wanna battle Ry-san some time ^_^ |
Again, no offense taken. I haven't seen any of Jaie's work, but since you praise him so much, I'm curious. Though, to be honest, I'm not so much to be praised. Saying that he surpasses me isn't all that impressive. I mean, heck, until I get published I'm really just an insignificant writer on an insignificant forum somewhere in the leylines of the ethernet. And my work is so inconsistent that I doubt I could
ever publish something at my current level of skill. No, I have a long road still to travel. Either way, I'll be certain to give Jaie's work a look. Heheh...this should be interesting.
Oh, and to all of those who were saying they could defeat Aurora, be on the look-out for a battle soon to come. It will be a two-on-one battle, and I'll be using Blitz. Your other "idol" (seriously, stop that, it's blasphemy) will also be involved. This battle will be going down in legend, I should think, since it will once and for all end the dispute of who is greater. On a side note, I
do know how Aurora's power works, and it's so simple that coming up with a weakness is exceedingly difficult. Somehow, though, I'm certain that the weakness itself is incredibly simplistic. I'm going to see if I can unwravel Aurora's secret in this battle, but in the process, I will be getting myself royally owned. All of you, feel free to observe the festivities, because this will be one of the few battles in which Blitz and Tokumaru let
everything go. Watching Aurora pin us to the floor is going to be very amusing, especially when Safer and I enter Celestial and Ethereal Inferno forms, respectively.
[EDIT] Heheh...will ya look at that? *glances in the general direction of Dragons' Soul* It looks like Tokumaru-sama will be the first to reunite with his teacher.

Kudos, buddy.
