I do actually own it, thanks to Humble Indie Bundle V, but I haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

Oh lord, yes. No question. Buying it from the Humble Bundle would have been a fantastic deal, but really, it's worth whatever price they're currently asking for. (I bought it when it was brand new at... $15 or $20, I don't recall. Totally worth it.)

If your computer can play Bastion, it's worth getting.

Playing it all day. I think Rucks is more of a bad guy than anyone else...

I traded some guy my spare Dota 2 invite for Bastion and Trine 2. I haven't installed Bastion yet due to my busy schedule up until recently, but I've heard it's really good. Games with good soundtracks always find a special place in my heart.

Then go play some NieR.

I'd meant to buy the most recent humble bundle...but I forgot to get around to it. Therefore, I don't have Bastion on my PC, only my 360.

Rucks is pretty great. More games need narrators with awesome voices like his.

Yeah his voice was really good.

The reason I am suspicious of him is, he designed a ton of and knew of just about everything in Caelondia and the world beyond. It's pretty evident he was in charge or majorly influential in the country. He knew about the Calamity before it happened, and yet, he still let it happen. He seemed pretty antagonistic towards the Ura, too, and IMO wasn't too sorry about letting the Kid tear their civilization apart. Finish what the Calamity started. Sure, he wanted to restore everything to the way it was before, but that could easily be because he regretted it backfiring and killing most of the humans instead.

I don't know, am I reading into things too deeply? What he said just seemed to have undertones in it. Great character either way.

It's 3:53am and I'm waiting for my friend to come out so I can drive her to work.

Then I have to be at the gym at 7am.

Then I start work at 11:30am but will be staying past my 8pm finish time to do testing.

Long day today will be, I want McDonalds.

I feel ya. My commute is even longer than my workday. And the office is a graveyard during the summer. I can hear the AC humming in the walls and nothing else. One of the monitor sensor lights in the halls even turned off because no one's been around.

Hmm...Nah, I don't think you're reading into it too much. Have you gotten far enough to know what caused the calamity, and what they were trying to do?

I beat it yesterday, so yes, I understand the what and why.

I saved Zulf and chose Evacuation, if that makes any difference.

So did I.

The scene for saving Zulf made me all teary...and I chose evacuation. I also agree that Rucks is kinda the closest thing to a bad guy in the game.

At first I was thinking: "That was a dumb choice now look I'm getting shot to pieces."

And then they *mostly* ceased shooting, and the music played.. Such a great moment.

Please stop talking about that in here. I'm tempted to click on the spoilers and find out what they're about, but I haven't played much of the game yet. ;-;

Bastion, right? I haven't played it either.
But I want to, if I have the time.
