I've been building demons for someone else's D&D campaign, and building characters for a campaign I'll be joining in a little while. I've been a bit busy...

I have been rolling around some concepts in my head, though... mostly concerning a Tome of Battle-style martial discipline that uses Lucid Dreaming as its key skill.

If you've seen the movie it's a parody of, you'd enjoy it more, but it is good either way!

Although, I've also been doing some things with Raleyn. I tried it out the other night, running it as a tabletop game. The players barely noticed the "large" number of different kinds of stats.

I have been doing a lot of work with the Wyrsin Series, too. I told about wanting to learning computing languages, right? So that I could turn the Series into a video game? I mean, not specifically for that reason, but that's... sort of like our final project. Teach ourselves language, and produce a game as proof of mastery.

I dunno, I guess I've mostly been doing the busywork these days; going through the motions to get my concepts onto tangible mediums.

Also to expect things such as the client/s thinking they automatically own the copyright to anything made for them, and for them to think there's nothing wrong with saying stuff like "Can you make it look like their logo, only with our company name there instead?"

Yar, at least one prof if not more has told me about the same. But this is the first time I've experienced it firsthand like this with my job. xD

But hey, if I do the logo and they like it and it gets approved/adopted for real use, that's a nice thing to be able to put on my resume. "I designed an official logo for the University of Maryland's Department of English that is still in use now," or something to that effect.

I'm going to take DNA samples from the two of you and send them to some top scientists. See if we can isolate the insanity gene.

So, it's a character with only one skill?

Might I propose "Deep Impact" where it kills all life on the planet (except cockroaches and Twinkies) at the expense of killing itself?

I don't think ELM is large enough to destroy all life on any planet, but he has other, more sinister intentions.

You're just saying that because he's a celestial body with a face. I don't think ELM is nearly as big as the Majora Moon, and he's also much faster.

I am reminded of things of three games:

• The moon from Majora's Mask as Ciro has said.
  
• Lavos from Chrono Trigger, as another malevolent entity from space that crash lands on planets with ill-intentions for them (although in his case, he's a parasite.)
  
• The strange meteor from Earthbound that triggers the rest of the adventure.
