Firefox has decided to do updates/version numbers like Chrome does: The number is now mostly irrelevant.

My main issue with Safari is the fact it seems to have a lot of hanging page errors, and often, a lot of the time asa result of the latter, forces a reload of all tabs, which gets irritating after a while. :/

Yeah, but the worst pokemon generation is still pretty good. I did hate how the story hijacks the standard formula when you get to the pokemon league though.

Once you do beat the elite four and N the lvl jump will be about 15 to 20 lvls too. At least it was for me. Except for my precious Valcanoth. Had to grind it higher than the elite four to evolve it. My favorite mon of the generation.

-Also safari is annoying with how it won't play videos automatically when I tab out until I tab back in for a second.

TO be honest, I had no interest in this Gen. It seems so very bloated with so many fiddly features...and the interface (especially with items) is really cumbersome and arbitrary. HGSS really perfected the interface, and this new one feels like several steps back. At times, I find it borderline awful and un-useable.

I was originally gonna bu a HG so I don't have to delete my SS file, but the promise of a Mewtwo gift was enough to sway my mind, given that HG and White were the same price.

Meh, I traded my copy of white in a while back for a Shin Megami Tensei game. I had every single pokemon in the dex in the computer when I bought it. It pained me to delete it and play from the beginning.

Really? Even Event legendaries?

I dunno Daphnes - I always feel paranoid about people using gameshark codes - I always think the game will detect it and erase the game at any random moment.

It's almost an irrational fear. :XD

All my monsters are legit, even the event legendaries from Gen III onwards, so never wanna lose them.

I was a fool and deleted my FR when I had every monster. I'd traded most of them to P and then SS, but I miss having my old save file 100% complete, and I'll never get the chance to complete it fully again. :[

The only version that I ever 100% completed the entire pokedex fairly was yellow.

And yeah, he had the shiny legendary dogs from the event a while back at least.

There's a way to get a legit Mew in RBGY due to an ingame glitch!

Yeah, I have the Crown beasts too. Also have a few Mews, a Deoxys, a Darkrai, a few Jirachi and a Celebi and some more. Not sure about transferring them to White. In fact, I don't want to. Love them on SS. Will keep them there I reckon.

Eh, I consider Gen IV to be the worst overall. White has a better story than those games.

The story seems good, yeah!
More involved and fleshed out rather than the generic Rocket rehash.

I think the Gen IV designs were much better though. The V designs look a bit too abstract for my liking, though some designs look amazing!

I still remember all the old legends of old pokemon fandom before generation 2 came out. The various claims of how to catch Mew like fishing in Lorelei's room, how to get "Pikablue" as they called Maril back then, etc.

Good story doesn't always mean better. I definitely like the pokemon adventures manga for Black and White though. At least better than Diamond and Pearl.

I mostly dislike all the designs from Gen IV onward, but there are definitely standouts amongst them all. ^^

Getting the free Victini from WiFi early in the game was nice in White, I like him. I also prefer the region in Gen V, the fact that it's based on NY and NJ is a nice change for the series and provided some interesting towns, areas, and characters.

I was never going to buy BW. I missed all the promotional events.

But oddly enough, having literally only bought it a day ago or so, Holland is doing two events all of a sudden!

Yeeees! My White game is full of stuff, and I began a new Black game for funsies and to raise new teams (so I wouldn't have to restart and lose all my stuff on White) before the semester started but haven't had time to play since. I got Black used because my brother hasn't been playing lately to trade with me.

My main gripe about the Gen V mons, besides how UGLY some of them are (so was Gen IV's mons, just look at Electivire) is how LATE some of them evolve. Eelektross is one of those. And he's positively useless until he evolves. x__x

I love Torterra. Probably my second-favourite final-form starter. :3

I remember when Gen V was first announced, and before we knew anything about the region, that I went and checked the map of Japan wondering what the next region was going to be like. :3

(personally, I preferred the Japan-based regions. I wonder if we're ever going to see a region based on London and surroundings. :3 )

Instead of making more games that rehash RBGY with more gratuitous and poorly designed monsters, they should just create a "GS" to one of the games.

That is to say, create a part II of the story, and address all the repercussions of the game before. Like how GS continued RBGY's story and addressed the game's consequences, making Gen I and Gen II essentially two halves of a larger game.
