I disagree. There was that meme you used that one time that I didn't find funny because I had no idea it existed, and even after I found out about it I didn't laugh.

That's not to say you aren't funny, though, because you are... sometimes. A lot of times it is unintentional, like what you just did with the word "Bear".

That wasn't me being funny, that was other people (eg. you) finding something I did funny. For comparison, A person running into a window isn't being funny - it's their situation which is funny.

Yes and no, but for the purposes of your question, no. The most important weather phenomena we have here is/are El Niño/La Niña - the former being more infamous for causing drought here. This however doesn't effect the temperature in any drastic way, and only happens every five years or so.
