Alrighty-roo, since the character I planned to use for this is now approved and that the RP was my idea in the first place, I've taken the liberty to create this thread so we can continue the discussion we started in the OoC thread. :>

First thing's first, though. The basic idea!

Synopsis
The main idea is to start an RP featuring a slumber party with our characters. It'll take place in an inn or hotel of some sort, I'm guessing, unless someone has a better idea for a setting. The characters will be partying with one another in some sort of way. What's been brought up is that one room will be for the female characters to use while the guy characters crash in another room.

Some guy characters might be more interested in the ladies, though, while some girl characters might be more interested in the guys. Another idea brought up was a guy character or two or three or so infiltrating the girls' room (lol). And perhaps a big party in the inn/hotel/whatever lobby can occur as well so the guys and girls get to communicate with one another. And that's how it all works, basically.

The Characters
The characters should all generally be friendly faces and have at least some interest in both genders. It's also easier if the guys used male characters and the girls used female characters, but this is not necessary. Just a suggestion. It'd also be nice if there were the same number of male characters as there are females and vice versa. That way, the odds are even if there were to be some sort of "gender war" when/if the boys infiltrate the girls' room.

The characters will likely be doing different things in their rooms as well. I'm thinking the girls would enjoy pillow fights, make-overs (I'd personally say ew ew ew to that lol, but the character I'm using wouldn't mind, lol), and other basic girl stuff. The guys might play video games, darts, or other boy stuff. Maybe a few of the girls would be interested in boy activities as well. Maybe a few boys would even be interested in pillow fights. But anyway, these are the ideas brought up so far in regards to the characters.

Basic Rules
I'm not going to place any definite rules right now, but I am going to suggest a couple.

For starters, I think we should place a limit on how many people can participate. Some RPers like me have difficulty following and keeping up with an RP that has a lot of participants. My suggestion is 6 or 8 people, 3-4 per character gender. Either way, I'd suggest an even number.

Next, all characters should fit in the setting. If it's a modern-type hotel, we need characters who are from or know a lot about a modern-type setting, for example. I mean really, it would not make sense at all to stick a medieval knight in a modern-day hotel. xP

Lastly, I think we should use only one character per RPer and state in this thread which character we'd like to use upon signing up. I will be using my newest character, Casadilla.

Now for the sign up list! Each character name will be in pink or blue depending on the gender. Pink is female and blue is male.

By the way everyone, we also need to figure out how our characters will meet and decide to have a slumber party in the first place.

I still think the City should be holding a big party and the hotel is keeping all the outside guess and letting them play around there gaming/drinking/halls for the night.

Ooh, that could work. We'll see what others think first though I know there were more people interested in joining than us two.

Sign me up. I'll be using Marissa. If Fairess joins with Leonna, I'll also probably be using Ceyrnan as well.

^I think we should just have one character per RPer, but I'll add you with Marissa for now. :>

x3 Leonna isn't exactly modern, but she can be really quite adaptable. And since she's in the dome, getting into a modern hotel wouldn't be much of an issue. I'lla put forth Leonna if she can do Cey's hair.

The best partier I have is Joker but if girly things are taking place then Calista might be the best bet... even though she's blind she's still good at doing girl talk... maybe... but she's the best socializer of my females.

Put Joker down for me Palo =) He can rouse the boys into to doing some fun things so they don't sit down on couches all day eating corn chips.

Well, I didn't think there needed to be much more XD You got the setting and a general plot down already so it seemed like it would go from there once the characters were in place.

Might I suggest - when you have the characters being used maybe separate them into male and female lists that way its easier at first glance how many of each gender we have? I say that cause I saw Marmion and couldn't for the life of me remember of that was a male or female character. I'm pretty sure that he was Niku's male yet female looking one but just from name I couldn't tell XD

The one thing I couldn't wrap my head around was - WHY would all these characters be having a slumber party together when they most assuredly have never met before. It could just be me being all analytical about it and wanting ever base to be covered especially because when you go to a slumber party you expect to know people there or... you wouldn't really want to go.

Unless there was a sign up for the party? Like its a hotel event that patrons were invited to? That could also explain how the boys catch wind of it since the fliers would say 'females only'.

I'm just rambling now so take what I've said and dissect it for a bit XD

And the whole meeting thing is why I think the characters ought to meet and get to know one another BEFORE actually going to the rooms and stuff. That's what the partying in the lobby idea was meant to take care of.

I was thinking all the characters happened to rent a room in this hotel for a few nights or so. Only, they spend one night doing the slumber party thing. Before that, they get to know one another and make friends and stuff.

I thought the whole haunted town of no escape was meant to be an RP between you, me, Puck and Quark? =P Either that or your jumping the gun there, ghost stories are meant to take place during the sleep over section of the RP =P

*sigh* All I keep imaginin' is Joker sneakin' into the ladies' place via portal and wreakin' havoc...

He will - but bear in mind he usually likes good clean fun. He likes to make people uncomfortable but he knows he has to draw that line at some point. Where that line is just... depends XD
