Re: {PS/Zanza Tourny} An Angel's Aria: Take two (Librairian) “Wow,” Shisho said as he made his way through a forest, “You don’t see places like this twice.”
It was a bright day outside, even under the trees. So clear was the sky, that the suns rays could pierce the leaves without anything holding them back. Beneath, they formed golden columns of warm light. All around, the honey spotlights were host to a myriad of Farore’s furry creatures. Even shifty creatures such as foxes were resting without care in the warmth. None of them seemed to mind that a man was invading their territory. Perhaps this was because he was one of Farore’s creatures as well. He behaved the same way after all. His feet moved him slowly from spotlight to spotlight, so he could enjoy the warmth as well.
For Shisho, it was quite often he found himself walking through locals such as this one. The forests had almost become his home. He knew when a forest was friendly and when a forest was harsh. This was a friendly group of trees he was walking under, and they seemed quite happy to have him. A smile came to his face as a breeze blew the leaves around. The treetops shaking, a million dots of light scattered over the ground around him. It was times like these that he felt as if he were one with nature. Happiness was all that could follow in the face of such thoughts.
A few moments pass, and the wind left, turning the columns of light into a solid stream once again. In place of the departed, a tune began to carry through the air. The trees must have been truly happy to send Shisho such pleasant gifts. He listened to the melody, trying to find the voice singing it. But such a sad song the trees had sent him. The singer may have been close by, but chances were they wanted to be far away from everything. It was always a mixed blessing the forests gave, turning their familiarity into mystery. Even though I travel through them so often, he thought, I’ll never be able to understand them.
Very soon, the singing grew louder. Knowing he was on the right track, he let his hearing guide his actions. Just like he thought they would, his ears led him to the source. Seeing the being that stood before him, he halted his advance. What he was seeing was a Seraph, a six winged angel of great power! From the Christian faith of Earth, the Seraphim were second only to the deity they worshiped. But in such a place, singing such a song, this was perhaps a fallen angel. With a trace of caution, he continued toward her slowly. She did not look like she would object if he were to listen for a while.
Coming before her, Shisho took a seat against a tree. She did not open her eyes or flinch; she simply kept singing.
