{PS/Zanza Tourny} An Angel's Aria: Take two (Librairian)

OoC: Good Luck. Let's have some fun. Using Nephilim.

Bic:

A forest, awash in the colors of life. Untouched by man it thrives in peace, knowing no violence or destruction. That is, until now. Sitting at the base of an old dying tree, a young woman stands out; her bright clothing a sharp contrast to the dark, somber tones of the plant life around her. Her long pink hair falls in a curtain around her as she looks up at the canopy, her pink eyes showing a bit of uncertainly. In her fragmented memories she'd seen a vast forest much like the one she now sat in. In coming here, she'd hoped that maybe, just maybe, a piece of her memory would return to her.

She could hear the unseen animals of the forest going about their daily routine: gathering food, finding mates, protecting territory, even studying her while she sat statue-like under their tree. The smallest breaths of wind from the treetops ruffled her loose clothing ever so slightly as she closed her eyes to relax. She knew she must be patient for her memories to find something to grab on to. If she ran about, she could easily must the one thing that would jog her memory to return. Until then she knew she'd just need to pass the time. As the wind died away, a sad melody picked up almost as if it wished to replace the lost wind, or call it back. Her wings unfolded and activated as slowly, her humming grew louder. She soon opened her mouth to begin singing what was ironically called the Song of Nephilim.

The Song of Nephilim; a song named after her that brought calm to those that heard its melancholy beauty and a song that she could not remember how it was named as such. All she could remember about it was that she herself had made it. Already, Nephilim could feel its effects not only on her, but on the forest. Animals big and little began to show themselves to her one by one. A bird landed on her armored ear top to listen; a few squirrels climbed down the tree she sat under to sit at her feet. Across the clearing, a deer nervously entered the clearing, slowly coming closer to the young Battleroid as her song continued gracefully through the air.

Footsteps. Over her song she could hear the approaching footsteps of a person it the distance. The deer looked back the way it came before bolting to the left of the large clearing. The footsteps were becoming louder as they grew closer, pausing briefly before continuing slower. Gently, Nephilim brushing away the tiny creatures around her though she continued singing her song without break. A feeling of safety settled about her and the clearing as she waited. Somehow, she felt no reason to stop singing, even as the figure emerged from the woods to see her, her six glowing wings open as she sat watching and singing her melody.

Re: {PS/Zanza Tourny} An Angel's Aria: Take two (Librairian)

“Wow,” Shisho said as he made his way through a forest, “You don’t see places like this twice.”

It was a bright day outside, even under the trees. So clear was the sky, that the suns rays could pierce the leaves without anything holding them back. Beneath, they formed golden columns of warm light. All around, the honey spotlights were host to a myriad of Farore’s furry creatures. Even shifty creatures such as foxes were resting without care in the warmth. None of them seemed to mind that a man was invading their territory. Perhaps this was because he was one of Farore’s creatures as well. He behaved the same way after all. His feet moved him slowly from spotlight to spotlight, so he could enjoy the warmth as well.

For Shisho, it was quite often he found himself walking through locals such as this one. The forests had almost become his home. He knew when a forest was friendly and when a forest was harsh. This was a friendly group of trees he was walking under, and they seemed quite happy to have him. A smile came to his face as a breeze blew the leaves around. The treetops shaking, a million dots of light scattered over the ground around him. It was times like these that he felt as if he were one with nature. Happiness was all that could follow in the face of such thoughts.

A few moments pass, and the wind left, turning the columns of light into a solid stream once again. In place of the departed, a tune began to carry through the air. The trees must have been truly happy to send Shisho such pleasant gifts. He listened to the melody, trying to find the voice singing it. But such a sad song the trees had sent him. The singer may have been close by, but chances were they wanted to be far away from everything. It was always a mixed blessing the forests gave, turning their familiarity into mystery. Even though I travel through them so often, he thought, I’ll never be able to understand them.

Very soon, the singing grew louder. Knowing he was on the right track, he let his hearing guide his actions. Just like he thought they would, his ears led him to the source. Seeing the being that stood before him, he halted his advance. What he was seeing was a Seraph, a six winged angel of great power! From the Christian faith of Earth, the Seraphim were second only to the deity they worshiped. But in such a place, singing such a song, this was perhaps a fallen angel. With a trace of caution, he continued toward her slowly. She did not look like she would object if he were to listen for a while.

Coming before her, Shisho took a seat against a tree. She did not open her eyes or flinch; she simply kept singing.

Re: {PS/Zanza Tourny} An Angel's Aria: Take two (Librairian)

Though she never paused her song, Nephilim was happy that someone wanted to listen to her song other than the animals nearby. Smiling, she continued to song her endless, melancholy song. It was then she felt something light hit her on top of her head. Openning her Reddish-pink eyes, she paused her song and looked to the Man near her questioning. He pointed to the top of her head, then up into the tree she sat under. Reaching up, she gently grabbed and the thing that had hit her and looked at it, a small, blue feathered bird that was waking from its deep sleep after falling from its perch. Shaking out its feathers, it chirped once and flew off to continue its business.

The natural sounds of the forest had gone completely quiet around the two, the creatures asleep from the length of time she'd been singing for. As she looked back to intoduce herself, a sleeping squirrel landed in her lap which caused her to jump slightly in surprise. "Oops. I'd been singing for too long. I've gone and put the forest to sleep," she said softly as she gently picked up the squirrel and floated up into the tree to return it to a branch. Shisho could see now that her wings were false, coming from the metal parts that seemed attached to her back though most of it was covered by her knee length, light pink hair. Nephilim landed lightly and looked at Shisho a moment before smiling and chuckling a bit.

I should really reawaken the creatures. It's not right to leave them sleep in the middle for the day. Floating silently, she moved to the middle of the clearing and raised one hand skyward. She nodded her head slightly to a different cadence from before. A much faster one then her first song. After a minute or so she started singing again, but though her strange words were the same, the song itself was vastly different. Her voice seemed to stir the soul as she began dancing about in the air in time with her faster, upbeat song though she she never flew higher then two or so feet from the ground. The sleeping animals around them could be seen and heard awakening but instead of running, they seemed interested in Nephilim's song though some seemed to be a bit restless. Energy and the motivation to be something instilled themselves in everything listening as the pseudo-angel continued her song and dance about the clearing, her eyes closed though she seemed to know where everything was as she never once hit a tree, animal, or even any of the birds that flew about the clear around Nephilim as she moved out of the way while staying in time with the song.

Feathers dropped from her glowing wings as she started sweating from her exertion though her body seemed tireless. She could have gone on for hours as she had before if she hadn't of remembered she was in the presence of another person as she was about to yank off her sleeves. I've been a bit rude. I haven't said a word to him since he came in and barely acknowledged his presence, she thought to herself rather embarrassed. She wound down her song and ended it after returning to the center of the clearing. For the most part the animals soon dispersed after she finished and floated up to Shisho.

Stopping in front of him, she bowwed low in respect, giving him a closer look at the metallic armor across her back before she raised back with her hands together just below her stomach. "I'm sorry. I've been rather rude to you. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Nephilim Mitsukai. My code name is 'The Lovely Angel'," Nephilim said warmly to him with a smile. "May I ask who you are?"
