Solsetur:
Name: Teir Claen
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Appearance: Long black hair and the grey eyes of a magic-wielder. Very fit, with a decent amount of muscle, and has scars marring his body in multiple places. Wears black leather armor and wields a black sword.
Magic Abilities: Has been training for years, and has gained the ability to transmute weapons from the ground and make his current weapons stronger. Has recently gained the ability to make things using the earth as a conduit.
Strengths: Quick, a good fighter, and an excellent strategist.
Weakness: When injured will try to run away from the fight. While he will fight like a rabid dog when no escape is necessary, he can't sustain a large amount of blood-loss due to a heart condition he has. He rarely ever makes the first move, and requires another to instigate a fight.
Personality: Has a forceful personality, often imposing himself upon others. He rarely takes no for answer, and argues with many people. He's a natural born leader and fighter, and never backs down from a challenge. He'll often fight to the bitter end just to prove a point, and any one who defies him openly will quickly fall subject to his wrath.
History: His parents sent him away to a special magic school when he was young. They were repulsed by the idea of having a magic wielder in their family, and they disowned him as soon as they felt he could live without parents.
Abandoned, Teir rebelled against his tutors and quickly gained the name of 'rebel' among his classmates. He trained for years at this school before his teachers got tired of him and sent him into the military. Teir began as a lowly footmen at the front line of battle. He fought hard, and was usually the last one on the battlefield who could say they were in the first company of soldiers to attack.
He gained a good reputation among his superior officers and rose quickly, eventually becoming close to the king of the powerful nation of Schwarm, where he'd been raised previously. His relations with the king grew better and better as time passed, and he was soon promoted to the rank of general.
Teir, with his new rank, strutted around the city in uniform and often made a fool of what he called "lesser people". He eventually met a girl who made him realize his mistakes, and after becoming close to her she was killed in an uprising led by the people.
Torn, Teir devoted his time to the military and rose among the generals in the city. He eventually became the head of their group, and controlled 10,000 soldiers within the city. He was determined to stop another uprising from happening again, and he was ready to do anything to put them down.

He was trained in the way of the sword by his father until one day, when Elaine's father was found at his doorstep, head seperated from the body and a sword wound to the heart. Elaine spent an entire day preparing the hole and the flames for the funeral pyre.
Although the death of his father was devestating, he continued to live in his cabin by himself. He continued to train himself, using his father's dummies, as well as by hunting down the fauna of the forest. He retrieved some of his father's objects that he had kept, such as the sword, shield, and armor that he currently uses.
When Elaine was 18, he started traveling into the city frequently. He got a job as a woodcutter but shortly turned it down. After losing that job, he stopped a murderer who had recently killed a soldier, and got paid handsomley for the capture. Since then he worked as a bounty hunter, capturing thieves and murderers for the reward money.
When he was 20, he caught a girl named Servine Foxhunter who a bounty of unexplained reason. When he questioned her, she said that she found out secrets that the military wanted to eliminate. She knew that the military sent assassins to kill certain former-soldiers who knew of an unknown plot, and that those killed were the only ones who knew of the plot. Realizing that his father may have been part of this organization, which would explain the unknown death of his father, Elaine promised to let Servine go in exchange for her help on figuring out the plot and releasing it to the public. He was going to avenge his long-dead father, finishing what he had started...
~ ~ ~ "How much longer until our plans are completed?" Teir was getting impatient with this; he'd rather head outside and put down the damn rebels that were getting in his way. He didn't have time for this 'infiltrate' nonsense. If there was a corner of the city that was giving problems, put it to the torch. That was the quickest way to get those dogs to lay down and beg for forgiveness.
"Two weeks, sir."
"Two weeks? That is unacceptable. Make it three days."
"Th-three days? Th-that's impossible. We don't have a-a-all of our men in p-place."
"Stop stuttering like a fool and get to work. If you don't have all of your men in place then GET them in place. Do you understand me?"
"Yes sir, I understand..."
"Good. Then get out of here." The man turned and ran from the room, and Teir caught a glimpse of sweat running down the man's neck. He'd made him nervous; and he should be. They didn't have time to wait around while the rebels took block after block of the city.
"Tanya?" A small image of a woman popped up from the metal device on his desk.
"What is it, Teir?"
"Send in Lein. We need to set up some sort of defense before the rebels are knocking down our doors."
"Right away, sir."
Teir leaned back in his chair, looking up at the ceiling. A small light swung back and forth as the fan above it revolved quickly. I'm surrounded by idiots... A knock broke his thoughts, and a tall man walked into the room. Teir saw two guards position themselves at the door as the man walked forward and sat down in the chair before his desk.
"Ah, Lein. It's about time you got here."
"Heh. I was held up at the harbor. Bunch of rioters trying to capture a ship. We put them down quickly, though, and got here as quickly as possible. Lost five men to those bastards." Lein spat and looked up at Teir, blonde hair falling behind him and gloved hand grabbing the sides of his chair. "What did you need me for?"
"I need you to take two-hundred men and set up a perimeter around the rebels piece of the city. We have no authorization to engage them, so tell your men to fight only if it's necessary. Under no circumstances do I want them gaining any more ground. Got it?"
"Yes, sir. How are the negotiations going?"
"Horribly. Council doesn't want to acknowledge that this open rebellion, king doesn't want to spend money on any more war, and people everywhere are either dying or protesting. Add in the people who are calling for everyone to be hung and we have absolute chaos - as usual."
"Tch. Bunch of idiots if you ask me. They spend more time trying to gain power than trying to protect the power they've already got. At this rate, they're the ones who are gonna be hanging. And we'll be right beside 'em, too." Lein stood and nodded at Teir, signalling that he was going to leave now. He gave a salute and turned, walking towards the door.
"Oh, one more thing, Teir."
"Yeah?"
"I think these are the same guys who killed Chloe." Teir looked down at the desk and clenched his hands. He thought he'd done away with those bastards years ago. He thought... "Teir? You alright?
"Huh? Oh. I'm fine. You have my leave, Lein."
I... I thought they were gone. And now they're back... Now they're back...
