RP Digimon

Gikou, eyes still closed, spoke to the newcomer. "So? What's your point? It's not like anything's happened yet."

Shiki stood in front of a western styled home, pausing a moment before she rang the doorbell. After a moment a tall and spindly boy with brown hair and a soul patch answered the door in nothing but his underwear and a bathrobe, a candy bowl under his arm.

"Hey you're cute," The boy said in English, and Shiki frowned a bit. She was only good enough at English to barley communicate at a very basic level, but she knew what the boy had said.

"Put some pants on," Shiki said after an awkward moment of silence in Japanese. "Nobody wants to see you parading around in your underwear and a bathrobe."

"You don't need pants to watch movie," the boy shot back, also in Japanese. Oh good, he was bilingual. Who the hells answers the door in another language? Stupid Westerners.

"What sort of loser watches movies alone on Halloween?" She asked. "Shouldn't guys your age be out getting laid and drunk?"

"I'm not alone," the boy said, after which taking a swing of beer proving to Shiki he was doing at least one stereotypical thing right. "By the way, you need to say trick or treat, or you aren't getting candy."

"Your hand doesn't count," Shiki told him with a deadpan voice.

"Trick or treat!" Dorumon said excitedly, not understanding a word of what was going on between Shiki and the boy, but he was excited to finally get some candy.

"Is it really wise to make fun of a guy you are accusing of masturbating to snuff films?" The boy asked her as he dropped a piece of candy into Dorumon's bag. "There you go little guy! Best costume I've seen all day!"

"It's not a cost-" Dorumon started before Shiki covered up his mouth before coughing loudly and obnoxiously. She was about to start to explain away Dorumon's stumble when her D-arc started to go off. Without thinking, she instantly reached for it. "Shiki! There is a Digimon on the loose."

"What's going on?" Shiki froze for a minute, realizing where she was. She looked up at the boy, her mind quickly thinking up of a lie which would explain everything away neatly until she saw a red digivice in the boys hand. No way. What the hell! It was like everyone had a Digimon! "Why don't they look alike?"

"No ♥♥♥♥ing way!" Shiki exclaimed in surprise. "You're a Digidestined too?!" Seriously, what the hell was going on? Why was there so many people paired up with Digimon? Was it always like this and she never somehow noticed monsters rampaging through Japan.

Despite foreign viewpoints, especially Americas, it was not a common every day occurrence.

"That's a D3," Dorumon exclaimed, obviously excited to see another human partner. "There are six types of Digivices out there, but I've only seen two up until today, this will make it the third type."

Shiki shook her head, not caring at all about Digivices and the like at the moment. There was a rampaging Digimon that needed to be taken care of. They didn't have time to idly chat.

"We don't have time for this," Shiki said flatly as she looked at the compass which seemed to be pointing towards the main part of the city. "There is a rampaging Digimon on the loose. We need to go take care of it Dorumon."

Aaron turned his head towards the living room. "Kudamon! Kudamon get over here!"

"What is it?" A voice called from the other room.

"Apparently you're not the only digimon visiting for Halloween!" Aaron put down his beer on the key stand and pulled his jacket off of the coat rack. He put the jacket on and gave a few tugs to adjust it.

Kudamon floated over with a puzzled look on his face. "I'm not visiting, you grabbed me; and how do you know another digimon is here?" He turned to see the visitors at the door and froze when he spotted Dorumon. His eyes softened and he almost smiled. "Dorumon . . . You're alive!"

Dorumon cocked his head in confusion as Shiki looked at her partner curiously.

"A friend of yours from your village Dorumon?" Shiki asked. Much to her surprise, Dorumon shook his head.

"No," he said slowly, his nose scrunching up as he was trying to think. "I've never seen him before in my life."

Kudamon's ears dropped. "Oh, I must be mistaken then. I apologize."

Aaron was watching Kudamon and frowned. He was not in the position to pry, but he could see the heartbreak in his partner's eyes. He coughed. "Shall we go find this digimon threat then?"

"But some pants on if you are going out in public," Shiki told the boy. "You already did enough public scarring for one day. Plus, I'm pretty sure its illegal."

Might as well wait. Better then him being a creep and stalking her.

A dojo huh? well, if Impmon was training, why not him. Tyson thought. "Are we scaring more people?" Impmon asked expectantly.
"huh? oh yea" Tyson responded when suddenly his D-arc beeped. "I guess on second thought, no. Looks like there's a wild digimon for us to fight, c'mon" He hurried off toward the point the d-arc showed with Impmon in tow.

ooc: Hey just to let you know Soarin, this is going to be tag team fight with Aaron and Shiki and is going to have major plot points and some heavy character development. I hate to ask this, but please don't jump into the fight. You can watch from the sides. You can have Tyson and Impmon interact with Shiki and Dorumon after Rin leaves.

BiC: Gikou was just about to enter his first fight when his D-Arc went off. Extremely loudly. Suddenly, Watarigarasumon scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of everyone by hopping spontaneously off Gikou's head and shouting at him in his squeaky voice, "There's a Wild One! We need to go, baka yaro!" Immediately, he took flight on a beeline to the source of the signal.

Gikou just sighed and turned to leave. "Sorry, I've got some business to attend to. Anyone else can take my spot if they want to. I'm not coming back."

He pushed his way through the stunned crowd, ignoring their stares in the direction Watari flew off to. He hoped they would think it was just some genius Halloween trick, but it was too late to take it back. That damn raven really needed to learn the meaning of patience.

He ran towards the signal, which directed him into the middle of the city. As he got closer, he could start to see the top of the bright Digital Field over the tops of a few of the lower buildings. He finally turned onto the right street and saw a massive crowd of people gathered around the glowing dome, murmuring to each other.

As he finally reached the edge of the crowd, a large explosion resounded from the depths of the Field. Instantly, the crowd became a mob, and nearly trampled him in their efforts to run away from the sound. "It's a bomb! We're under attack! Hide the women and children!!" Shouts of panic rang out into the night, louder than the explosion itself.

After barely managing not to be trampled, he made his way to the front of the Digital Field and put on his sunglasses, at which point Watari landed on his shoulder, descending from the top of a nearby building.

"Well, what are we waiting for?"

Shaking his head ruefully, Gikou stepped into the cloud and made his way towards the center.

OoC Again: Gikou can interact with Tyson here if you want, as they'll both be spectators.

Aaron frowned and left the doorway. After a few seconds he returned with pants. He was zipping up his fly and buckling his belt as he pushed Kudamon out of the house and closed the door. "Hmph, Superman got away with fighting crime in his underwear!" he mumbled to himself.

Shiki ignored the comment and sprinted off in the direction of the digimon. She kept a close eye on her digivice as she ran. Aaron was keeping up with her, which surprised her, but the longer legs did go far in terms of running.

When they reached the main street Shiki no longer relied on her digivice as the screams from a panicking crowd was a good indication of where the trouble was. They pushed against the fleeing people and found their way into the nucleus of the crowd.

"There!" Shiki pointed to a shoe store. Crashes and laughter could be heard from inside. A burst of light flashed in the window before it blew out and a bed-sheet ghost stood on the other side.

Dorumon took a step behind Shiki. "That's a Bakemon. It's a champion level, I can't defeat that!"

Kudamon shook his head. "Jumping straight to violence?" He clicked his tongue and began floating towards the shoe store. "Bakemon, why are you doing this?" His voice echoed in the empty store. There was a moment of silence before the ghost digimon floated out and faced Kudamon.

"Why? This isn't the Digital World! This isn't my home!" His voice was shaky.

Kudamon smiled. "Is that all? That human there can bring us both back to the Digital World." He motioned towards Aaron.

"No!" Bakemon snapped.

"No?" Kudamon frowned.

"No! Destruction is too much fun!" He let out a laugh and tackled Kudamon. Due to Kudamon being unprepared for the attack, the little digimon went flying. Aaron ran over to his partner.

"That digimon - something is wrong. The transportation from our world to here must have scrambled his brains." Kudamon got up, looking past Aaron to Bakemon.

"What do we do then?" Aaron looked concerned.

"If you promise to transport Bakemon and I back to the Digital World, Dorumon and I can stun him long enough for the process to happen. Agreed?" Kudamon look at Aaron, who nodded his head in approval.

Tyson found a large group of people running his direction and screaming which was a good indication that he was close. Sure enough he saw the bright light behind the screaming people. He slipped on his shades and walked in. He saw a boy with a raven ahead of him. "Oh hey there Sorako-San!"

Gikou stepped through the veil into the center of the Field, and what he saw made him want to instinctively run away. A massive, frightening ghost-like Digimon was terrorizing a local store, and that Taiga girl was there with her Digimon, along with an older boy who was hunched over his Digimon, who lay on the ground. They didn't look like they could do anything to stop it.

Ignoring the boy calling his name from behind him, Gikou raised his D-Arc and pointed it at the ghost.

It's a Champion...there's no way we can fight that! What do I do? Strategy is no use against something that huge!

Watari couldn't move. His beak hung wide open. No Digimon this strong had come out to the Real World as long as he had been here. He didn't know where to hide.

Dumbfounded, Gikou sank to his knees. It's...it's hopeless... He resigned himself to watching what he was convinced would be among his last few moments on Earth.

ooc: Tank, if I get anything about what Kudamon or Aaron says wrong, let me know and I'll fix it OK? I just want to finish everything up.

Shiki frowned a bit. Something was far more wrong then scrambled brains.

"Guess we can lend a helping hand," Shiki said, drawing a card from her pocket, glad she had the mind to bring them. "Come on Dorumon, don't give up now! You want to save your village right? Don't let something like this stand in your way!"

Shiki spun the card as Dorumon got into a low fighting position. "Card Slash! Hyperchip activate!" Dorumon started to glow a soft white color as his power increased by 10 percent. Shiki grinned. That should help things out.

"Metal Cannon!" Dorumon cried as he shot iron spheres at Bakemon.

"Zombie Claw!" Bakemon cried out, destroying Dorumon's attack with a pair of giant decayed hands. Dorumon shuffled backwards, completely terrified of the power difference. Shiki growled and spun around and looked at the boy and Kudamon.

"Don't just stand there!" She told him. "Help out! Dorumon may be powerful, but he can't do this on his own!" Kudamon snorted, muttering something, but jumped in fray anyways.

"Come on Dorumon," Kudamon said. "I'll lend you a helping hand. We need to stop him." Dorumon nodded his head weakly. Kudamon smiled encouragingly at Dorumon before a look of determination crossed his eyes."Right then..."

Kudamon started charging Bakemon.

"Zombie-" Bakemon started, but Kudamon interrupted him.

"Zekkoushou!" He cried and a blinding ray of light emitted from Kudamon's earings, leaving Bakemon stunned. Dorumon, seeing the opening, took the chance to attack.

"Dash Metal!" He cried, getting in a solid attack, the power of it increased due to Hyperchip.

"Dangan Senpū!" Kudamon cried, spinning his body, knocking Bakemon back. He turned quickly towards the boy. "Aaron, open the link now!"

The boy, Aaron, nodded his head and took out a PDA. Talk about convenient. He pointed his D3 at the PDA.

"Link open!" He cried and a bouncing Digimon appeared on the screen. Shiki frowned and clucked her tongue. This wasn't right. Sending Bakemon back wouldn't solve anything. In fact, it would make things worse. He would be attacking innocents in the Digital World.

There was no choice.

"Dorumon!" She commanded, taking out two more card. "Stop him!" Dorumon looked shocked at Shiki's command.

"What?"

"Stop him," She insisted, a fierce looking crossing her face. Dorumon was taken aback, but nodded his head. Spinning the card, she slid it through her D-arc. "Card Slash! Power activate! Card Slash! MetalGarurumon Blaster activate!"

"Metal Blaster!" Dorumon cried out, attacking Bakemon over Kudamon's cry to stop it. Bakemon, weakened from the tag team of Dorumon and Kudamon earlier, dissolved into red data.

"What the hell?" Shiki turned to Kudamon. Even though his voice was level, she could tell he was angry. Pissed. And he was looking right at Dorumon. "Now I know I mistook you for my friend, because he would never kill a Digimon in cold blood. He would never kill a Digimon because a human told him to. This is what humans do - they use us as weapons to harm our own."

Dorumon started to tear up. What was this Digimon saying?

"Lay off Dorumon!" Shiki exclaimed. "Did you honestly think it was better if Bakemon went back to the Digital World?! He was way too far gone! It was more humane to stop him now before he hurt any other innocent Digimon!"

"You shouldn't kill a Digimon just because his brains got scrambled!" Kudamon shouted back. Shiki was about to say something until a man she hadn't noticed was there stepped out of the shadows. He was wearing a black suit, and he had long black hair tied back in a braid.

"I agree with the little Miss," the man said, taking off his sunglasses to reveal grey eyes. "It was better to kill that Digimon now. Although, any Digimon that has the gall to come into the Human World despite the firewall we have set up deserves to die."

"I didn't ask for your opinion," Shiki growled. "Who the ♥♥♥♥ are you anyways?" This man gave Shiki bad vibes. He didn't seem surprised by this at all.

"Ah, where are my manners?" The main said. "My name is Rin Kasumi, and I'm working for the government. That's all you need to know. I've just come to tell you both that you are playing with fire. With this incident, I'll make sure another Digimon can't come into the Digital World again, and I will kick out the ones who are here now. That includes these two monsters."

"I'd like to see you try," Shiki growled, stepping in front of Dorumon who was scared and upset from all the recent events.

"You are playing with fire little girl. Same to you boy," Rin said. "But I best leave before people start snooping. Plus I have all that I need to take control of this problem thanks to this little fiasco. I'll see you later no doubt." With that, the man brushed past the two Digidestined and their partners. Kudamon turned to Shiki, hate in his eyes.

"You're despicable," he spat and floated away. Aaron looked between Shiki and Kudamon, before following Kudamon, leaving Shiki all alone in the middle of the plaza with a crying Dorumon at her side.

Gikou was absolutely stunned. What had just happened? They...defeated the Digimon? With two Rookies? How? And who was that man in the suit? He said he'd send back all Digimon himself...

I...I was useless. I need to train more. Meditate more. I need to become stronger! I will NOT let them take Watari from me!

Pulling his hood into a cowl that shadowed his face, Gikou turned and walked out of the Digital Field, right past the Mills boy. This was no time for pleasantries. He had to train. He had to be stronger. He refused to be powerless. Never again.

Tyson was dumbfounded. That digimon was powerful. Not only that but Shiki had taken it out. Then there was that man. He didn't know who he was but he wasn't taking Impmon away. Tyson hurried forward. "I hate to admit it Taiga, but that was a nice one. That was one heck of a battle."

ooc: Aaron left with Kudamon after Rin left.

bic: "I hate to admit it Taiga, but that was a nice one." Shik recognized the voice. Slowly turning she came face to face with Tyson. "That was one heck of a battle."

"We had help," Shiki said flatly, refusing to take credit all for herself. "There was no way we could have done anything without it."

She frowned.

"What the ♥♥♥♥ were you doing anyways?"

When Mike got home a few weeks ago, he managed to slip past his parents and sneak Gabumon, who had reverted back into Tsunomon upstairs.

He had managed to convince Tsunomon that as long as he stayed quiet, he will just blend in with the rest of pile of parts and what not that had been scattered across the room. Tsunomon flat out told him he looked better than anything that Mike had.

Mike had been trying his best to figure out what the device that had appeared when he met Gabumon. The girl, after a series of insults, had told him it was a Digivice and Tsunomon had explained further that a Digivice recognizes a human and Digimon partnership.

Mike was dying to know how it ticked, and had been spending the last few weeks in his room, trying to open the thing. For some reason, whoever made the device decided to melt the sides together.

He was very tempted to take a hammer to the thing.

But he didn't.

Just like the last few weeks, he had been going to school and rushing straight up to his room to figure out the stupid thing. His parents had been getting worried, and kept asking him if something was wrong. He of course denied it.

What was he supposed to tell them? He had a Digimon in his room? He didn't think so.

But when he didn't even want to go trick or treating, his grandmother had started to grill him.

"Are you hiding something?" Mike turned to his grandmother. He had been downstairs to get a snack, and grandma was feeling well enough today apparently to sit at the kitchen table.

"No grandma," he lied, feeling guilty as he did so. His grandmother furrowed her eyebrows, and Mike could swear she was trying to see through his soul. It honestly scared him.

"Alright," she relented finally, much to Mike's great relief. "But if you are hiding something, I will find out."

Mike nodded his head quickly, and grabbed some fruit and scurried upstairs before he got drilled by somebody else.

"What took you?" Tsunamon complained as Mike threw him an apple.

"Sorry," Mike apologized as he sat at the desk again, the Digivice still relenting to give up its secrets. "Grandma held me up. She's suspicious."

"Why would she be suspicious?" Tsunamon asked curiously. Mike shrugged.

"Mostly because I didn't go trick or treating this year," He admitted. "But I really want to figure out this Digivice thing."

"You should do things you normally would do and not be locked up in your room all the time," Tsunamon chided. "Go do human stuff."

Also, I've been toying with the idea of writing in actual Japanese, not Romaji. Just because I need to work on my Japanese or I'm going to fail. How about we implement it on written things, such as letters or signs?

BiC: Gikou sat in his room, trying to clear his mind. He needed discipline. He needed to be able to think clearly, even if the odds were against him. He needed...he needed the kind of strength Taiga had. She pulled those cards out so easily, and used them to power each other up...she basically won against that thing on her own. It wasn't fair. He was the one who played the card game, not her! If she was a player, he would have met her long ago, after all! He should be able to use them better than her! It wasn't fair!

Kangaero. Kangaero. Kangaerun da! Nani ka aru hazu da! Why? Why was she able to beat it? It should be impossible...Have I not trained enough? Am I just not fit to be a Digimon's partner? What could I have done?

Frustrated, he pounded his fist into the floor. "KUSO! WHY AM I NOT STRONG ENOUGH?!? HAVE I NOT BEEN TRAINING SINCE I COULD WALK? WHAT DID I DO WRONG?"

He lowered his head and held his face in his hands. "Dou shiyo? Naze ore wa sonna ni yowai ka? Naze...?"
