RP Digimon

Shiki sighed dramatically. This hallucination was taking forever to go away. Might as well amuse it. It wouldn't shut up otherwise.

"What is it you creepy hallucination stalker?"

The next day at lunch, Jensen determined to find the Athena girl and confront her about her Digimon and how she had managed to beat that Champion level Digimon, as Agumon had referred to it as. But after searching the lunchroom thoroughly, he failed to find her. However, he didn’t give up and decided to check outside. For about five minutes he searched and finally spotted the girl having what seemed like a heated insult contest with the hooded boy who was chasing her two nights before. Instead of approaching her, Jensen decided that it might be more amusing to see where this conversation went. So he waited, spying quietly on their battle of wits.

Gikou allowed himself a small smile. "You're going to tell me everything about why you know how to use those cards so well, or I'm going to follow you everywhere. And I mean everywhere. I'd do Chinese Water Torture, but I'm pretty sure having a shadow you can't shake would be worse torture to you. Am I in the ballpark?"

Shiki frowned. Beating up stalkers was a pain in the ass, and if she can get rid of him by answering his stupid question she might as well.

"I'm going to assume you are talking about the Digimon cards," Shiki said to the hallucination considering any other type of card wouldn't make sense. "And it's really honestly natural talent. I bought some to see if I could use it with my D-arc because I had heard of the game. Turns out its super easy. I mean, I don't see what is so hard about it honestly."

Gikou stared at her flatly. Easy? It's EASY? I had to learn that game for like two years before I was decent! You have got to be kidding.

Swallowing hard, he said, "Really? That's it? I guess I should just swipe my cards more often then and see what works. Can't be that hard to learn this game after all, right?"

His hands were curled into fists on his legs, and his arms were trembling with the effort of remaining composed.

Shiki looked at the hallucination for a moment before realizing he was angry. She started to laugh. This was great!

"Oh my God," Shiki cried. "Are you saying it isn't easy for you? All it is, is common sense! Although, this makes things a lot more clear now why you are such a crap tamer and your Digimon can't fight for ♥♥♥♥."

Jensen was close enough to hear exactly what was going on. His mouth curled into a smile and he chuckled quietly to himself. Things were about to get hairy and very entertaining.

Gikou was shivering with barely withheld rage. "Oh? So it's easy planning out every possible outcome and enacting them with a stupid raven who would rather dive straight at the enemy than think about strategy for five seconds? What do you do, just pull them out whenever you feel like it? That's called beginner's luck, sweetheart. It'll wear off."

"Well first off it would probably help if your bird wasn't a dip♥♥♥♥, but that is just part of the personality," Shiki said, a smirk across the face. "But it says something about you if you can't even work with it, so don't go blaming it all on feather brain. Also, it's all about what makes sense. I mean you aren't going to use a card for speed against a slow enemy. That's just stupid. You want something that will overpower it's defenses. And besides, Dorumon hardly ever needs cards." She shrugged.

"Besides, why plan for every outcome when you can simply go off what is happening now? Wasted effort if it never happens and you prepared for the wrong thing."

Gikou spat back, "Let's see what you think of my wasted efforts next time you fight someone too powerful for you and I pull your ass off the coals because I planned for what happened. And I'm not retarded, but I've never had to use cards with Watarigarasumon to get even a single kill yet. The only time I've ever seriously used one is in the card game, and that requires a lot more planning than you'd think. I just assumed since you were good at using them in battle, you were a smart card player. Guess I was off my mark."

OoC: Day before, Virtual World. Just so no one gets confused still.

Ari turned to the source of the noise to find himself facing a small yellow creature with large red eyes. It looked like it was wearing a pelt over its face, and as he stared at it it loud out another small roar. He started backing away, and he heard Gigimon shuffle forwards.

"That's a Gabumon, Mr. Meanie. Don't worry, I can handle this." as Ari stepped back, Gigimon started to glow lightly and quickly grew into his taller, black-and-red BlackGuilmon form. With a glance backwards, BlackGuilmon held his arms up defensively.

Ari stood, dumbfounded, when suddenly the Gabumon creature started breathing a blue jet of flame at BlackGuilmon, who was quickly pushed back towards Ari. BlackGuilmon looked at Ari pleadingly and whispered. "Tell me how to beat him! I'm no good at fighting meanies!"

Ari continued to stare dumbfounded, then fumbled for the device in his pocket. Pulling it out, he pointed it at the yellow creature.

Main Attack: Horn Attack

Without knowing exactly why, Ari pointed towards the Gabumon. "Quick, dodge around the flames!" BlackGuilmon ducked to the side, but Ari could see the yellow reptile was starting to back up. "Be careful! He's going to try to hit you with his horn! Sidestep it!" BlackGuilmon nodded, and as the crazed Gabumon charged BlackGuilmon just barely managed to avoid being impaled on its horn.

Ari groaned and started circling closer to BlackGuilmon. "Come on, Orange-Kun! Next time he tries that, I want you to sidestep and then slash him!" Ari couldn't help but wonder why he was helping the thing, but he shrugged it off. Even if it was a dream...NO, even though it WAS a dream, he could still learn from it.

As the yellow creature charged again, BlackGuilmon jumped to the side and slashed at its side, dark energy surrounding his claws. The attack barely connected, but the Gabumon stumbled to the ground as it wounded its leg. As Ari watched the thing struggle to get up, he tried to remember what other attacks BlackGuilmon said he could do.

"Uh...Pyro Grenade, BlackGuilmon. Best to finish this off."

Shiki started laughing so hard that tears came out of her eyes.

"You? Pull me out of trouble?" Shiki howled. "That's rich! Oh my god. That is literally the funniest thing I've heard in awhile."

Wiping a tear off her eye, she sighed as Dorumon looked at her worriedly. He hoped she wouldn't get into another fight again. He was beginning to wonder between the two of them who did the more fighting.

"But tell you what little boy," she said. "I'll play your stupid card game with you. And win. How does that sound?"

Jensen frowned. This wasn't quite the WWE brawl he had envisioned. From what this Athena girl was saying, it seemed like it was going to turn into something more along the lines of D&D. Maybe he should intervene, no that was a bad idea. He would just have to endure the game until the time was right. Ugh, Jensen hated D&D.

Gikou growled, "Tonight, 8 PM, my dojo. You're going to see the true power of strategy. Might wanna prepare yourself."

Looking down at Dorumon, he asked, "How do you stand her? She's such a horrible person! You can't possibly like her for who she is. Did she kidnap you? Blink twice for yes."

"What dojo?" Shiki asked. "I don't even know your name little boy."

Dorumon sweatdropped. Why did everyponyone assume Shiki was a bad person?

"Shiki isn't horrible at all," Dorumon told the hallucination. If Shiki could talk to it, that must mean it was OK for him too. "She's one of the nicest persons I ever met. She's helping me so I can free my village."

Gikou mumbled under his breath, "Yeah, and I'm sure she's the one terrorizing the village in the first place. She could give Godzilla a run for his money."

Turning back to Taiga, he spat, "Sorako Dojo. I'm sure you can find it. Get your ass over there, Taiga, unless you're scared, that is."

With that, he stood up and walked away, Watarigarasumon alighting on his shoulder as he walked. "See? I knew you had some fire in you! Now I just gotta find out how to make you like that at will. I might even listen to you if you're like that! Kaw! Kaw! Kaw!" His laugh echoed off the school as they walked away.

Jensen saw his opportunity and seized the moment to approach the Athena girl. He briskly strolled over to the table she was sitting at and sat down across from her. He leveled with her with a very serious look on his face.

"You're that Athena girl I keep seeing everywhere," Jensen stated simply. "How is it that I keep running into you?"

Shiki only could watch as the boy stomped away, climbing over the gate and she could hear him crash on the ground on the other side. He never did tell her his name.

"You're that Athena girl I keep seeing everywhere." The sudden voice surprised Shiki and she turned to see a boy with thick black hair and emerald eyes staring at her. Athena girl? Well, this was a new one.

Just then Shiki realized Dorumon was in his Rookie form. If he asked, she'd just convince him it was her pet dog that she smuggled on the grounds. Nothing out of the ordinary there.

"How is it that I keep running into you?" Shiki studied the boy suspiciously. He was quite pale and lanky.

"I have no idea who the ♥♥♥♥ you are," She told him bluntly. "But that is the oddest conversation line a vampire stalker has ever given me, so kudos to you."

"Vampire stalker?" Jensen asked warily. "I wasn't aware that I was either. Oh, and you should at least try to be subtle about having a Digimon or people might start getting suspicious."

Jensen paused for a moment to let the words sink in, and then continued. He leaned in towards her.

"So, who are you, strange Athena girl?"

Shiki was surprised that he knew Dorumon was a Digimon. But that would mean this boy was a Digidestined too. They were honestly coming out of the waterworks.

"Ah, so you know about Dorumon?" Shiki asked with a smirk. "That would make you a Digidestined too. You guys just seem to be coming out of the waterworks. But to answer your question, my name is Taiga Shiki. What's yours?"
