[Math] Half Life
Hey guys, I need some quick help.
I know the half life equation, HL = N(1/2) ^t/h However, I don't know which method to use when it comes to figuring out the fraction exponent. Ex. HL = 20g(1/2)^32/8 I know I can turn 32/8 to 8root(20^32) (or was it the other way around), but can't I just divide 32 by 8? Will I get the same answer that way? Thanks in advance.

Re: [Math] Half Life
Yes, you can simply divide: (1/2)^(32/8) is equivalent to (1/2)^4 is equivalent to 0.0625...
As simple testing on your calculator would have told you ![]() |

Re: [Math] Half Life
Yes, but there are some cases that such things happen. This was one of them I wasn't sure of.
