Classics

Are there any other classicists on this site? Anyone want to talk Latin or Greek, or about the Classical world in general? Anyone need help with Latin or Greek grammar or literature?

If I'm deciding to go into the medical field, would taking Latin help a lot? If so, is learning Latin challenging or somewhat easy?

Re: Classics

Latin might help - certainly you would understand the medical terms, and the names of bones . It is a very hard subject if you pursue it to a high level as I have, but if you are seeking just a passable knowledge then it is probably not to hard.

Re: Classics

Latin, and a much greater focus on Rome than Greece when it comes to the history courses. I've completed two years, and although I'm currently on a year-off from school, I'll be going back to start up my third year in September.

Cambridge sounds like a nice place to do a Master's - I'm definitely going to be doing mine somewhere in the UK, unsure of where as of yet.
