Do you mean 234 raised to the third power? If so you'd write that like this: ((234^3)/2)^1/2, right? (^3 means that the three is an exponent, ^1/2 means square-root) You can do that on any calculator just by entering 234^3. Dividing that by two, then hitting the square-root button. However, are you sure that that's the order of operations? That it isn't 234 raised to the third, then square rooted, then divided?

If you mean in that exact order, then:
234^3=12,812,904 12,812,904/2=6406452 6406452^1/2=2,531.097 (As the above person said, ^1/2 is a square root.) Therefore, if done in that exact order, then the answer is most likely Two million, five hundred thirty-one and Ninety-Seven ten-thousandths (2,531.097). I am not going to do in OoO (Order of Operations; you know: PEMDAS). |
