Hay guys, I need some help with homeork. I need 50 people to answer this questionare about biotecnology. You don´thave to know anything about it. Just answer the questions. I think so

2- What do you think that biotecnolgy is?
I believe it's a science that uses living organisms/plant/algae for technological advancements. like how they can use algae to make fuel, etc... it's also used in genetic engineering, medicine, and agriculture.

3-Did you know that biotecnology is in what we eat?
sure. Agricultural applications of biotechnology are everywhere. ever eat an apple? it was most likely a hybrid.

4-How do you think that biotecnology affects society?
currently, It has a huge effect. Vaccinations, in vitro fertilization, stem cell/cord blood banking, and countless applications in agriculture. They even use microscopic organisms to treat the water that goes through our sewage plants!

5-Do you think that its beneficial to use biotecnology?
absolutely. but like anything, it can be used for harm too.

6- How do you qualify biotecnology?
I don't really understand what this question means. I'd say that biotechnology is any sort of use of microscopic organisms or the alteration/application of said organisms to acheive an end.

7- Do you think biotecnology will help people with diferent capacities?
capacities? is that what you meant to say? someday biotechnology may help to re-grow organs or body parts. need a lung transplant? no more waiting for years on a list. they can grow you a lung garanteed not to be rejected by your body because it's made from your own tissue and DNA!

8- Do you think that using biotecnology is like playing God?
That depends on if you believe in God . Even then, what do you think God's role is? Who are we to claim to know whether God cares if you "play him" or not? that's way too loaded of a question.

9- Did you know that in some countries biotecnology is used to make custom made babies?(You choose capacities,caracteristics, etc.)

I know this and I believe it is wrong. One of the miracles of life is that you play the hand you're dealt. it builds character and tests your heart and strength to make the best of whatever situation life/god/karma/whatever you want to call it gives you. why should some rich priviledged person have the right to make a custo-made kid? It puts too much amphasis on outward appearance. you can't guarantee what sort of soul or personality or intelligence someone will have through genetics.

I really thougt this was going to work >_>.
