Looks good, but there's one key idea that Machiavelli presents that Ganon doesn't meet. Machiavelli indeed states that it is safer to be feared than loved, but he also says that it is better to be feared than hated. Ganon is most certainly hated, and as we see, he has been overthrown many times because of it. Machiavelli states "when the prince is with his armies and has under his command a multitude of toops, then it is absolutely necessary that he not worry about being considered cruel; for without that reputation, he will never keep an army united or prepared for any combat." Basically, if the prince is considered to be unjust, he will be hated and dethroned. Sure, Ganon has acquired and secured the kingdom, but he is hated and will therefore be dethroned.

That being said, I think you'll do just fine. Just had to get that out there.

yeah...i did notice that after i had the essay set up...so i just left it as is...besides, Ganondorf does meet the more important guideline, which is "far safer to be feared than loved"
