Algebra help?

Sorry if i posted this wrong but i didnt really get the rules.

Algebra problem :/ ::

A community's water pump drips 4 drop every seconed, and each drop is 3/4 ml. If the community could put a 2-liter bottle under the drip all of the time, how many 2-liter bottles of water will be collected in 2006?

A farmer has four sons who are each in charge of a certain number of haystacks. Fred is in charge of 12 haystacks Doug has a third of haystacks as fred. Doug has a third as many as fred. Mike has twice as many haystacks as doug. Rich only has a fourth of the haystacks that mike has. If the farmer has his sons pile all the hay together in the center of the field, how many stacks of hay would he have?

47304 2 liter bottles in 2006.

4 drops per second * .75 = 3ml per second
3ml per second * 60 seconds = 180ml per minute
180ml per minute * 60 minutes = 10800ml per hour
10800ml per hour * 24 hours = 259200ml per day
259200ml per day * 365 days = 94608000ml per year
94608000ml per year / 2000ml (2000ml in a 2 liter bottle) = 47304 bottles!

26 hay stacks.

Fred = 12 stacks
Doug = 4 because 1/3 of Fred is 12 * 1/3 or 12/3 which is 4
Mike = 8 because 4 * 2 is 8
Rich = 2 because 1/4 of 8 is 8/4 or 2

12 + 4 + 8 + 2 = 26!

Doug=4
Mike=8
Rich=2
12+4+8+2=26

Not only is this sapm but so is yours because that has nothing to do with his math problems.
