Death of A salesman
Okay, well its English class. A class that i am not good at what-so-ever. Anyway i have an essay due wensday over Death of A Salesman and i need some help. So anyone who has read the book please respond.
I need 3 times that Willie tried to do the right thing but it ended up making matters worse. And i need to know what it was, what he expected, and the real outcome. so far i have one. Willie's values that he instills in his children. A) He thinks that it will make them successful in life B) They are false values that lead to their demise. any takers on the other 2? best regards, KIFIKA

Re: Death of A salesman
^^ Death of a salesman is a good play, read it a couple of times just for fun... another mistake willie made is:
[Staying with his firm too long] A: He thought that he would continue to be a valuable asset to the company B: In the end he lost everything and got fired because the company moved on and he was too slow to keep up. [Forcing his son to go to a meeting with his old boss] A: Willie thought that the best way for his son to get money for a new business was to wear a suit, act like this and that. B: but the old boss didn't even recognise the son (who's name I can't remember right now), and the son made a fool of himself. [Staying at his old house while his brother went to Africa] A: He thought it was a good idea to stay at his old house, he wanted to go to Africa with his brother, but in the end decided not to. B: Because of that, his brother got rich from diamonds found in Africa, while he did not. these are some of his mistakes ^^. Hope that helped! PS: sorry if i am too late replying to this! hope it helps nonetheless |
