[German Language]Stop him!

These are the facts:

For my Theatre Arts class, we're putting on a play where, to make a long story short, I have to pull out the Holy Grail, Indiana Jones has to grab it, and Nazis have to chase him out. The Nazis, as the situation currently is, are screaming, "Stop him! Don't let him get away!" However, I feel it would be more authentic and indicative of Nazi-ness(we can't have the armbands) if they yelled in German.

And so, I turn my hopes to you, ZU. Does anybody know enough German to tell me how to say these(I WILL need a pronounciation guide, I know no German at all)? All help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: [German Language]Stop him!

I can help you out a bit.

Hör ihn auf! Nicht lass ihn entkommen!

hoor i-hn ow-f! Nizht laz i-hn ant-come-n!

Sorry the pronounciation is hard to write out and get you the right sound.

Oh and I changed something, entkommen means escape, but it's the same thing.

Re: [German Language]Stop him!

You can also say it: Stoppen Sie es! Lassen Sie es nicht entgehen!

Yeah but that is incorrect if you are commanding someone you know, you only say that to people you don't know, that is an informal "you". If you are yelling at a friend to stop singing you say "Hör auf zu singen!", rather than "Hören Sie auf zu singen!".

Re: [German Language]Stop him!

I think it's stupid that you can't wear the armbands. Without it, they are just German soldiers. If it's for education, it should be allowed.

I guess you could write NAZI in red ink on their foreheads to get the point across.

Why do you want your first experience with TP to be a mirrored one?
The GC version is superior overall - admit it.
