survey for people 30 or older

I'm probably wasting my time here, I don't think there are many active members that are older than 30 years or older, and the assignment is due tomorrow, however if there is anybody who can help me out I still need 9 more people to fill out this survey. If your only younger than 30 by a few years it doesn't really matter the essay I have to write doesn't require me to reveal ages anyway, but if you're too young then your answers will betray your age and I won't be able to use them. (however if your too young and yet manage to tell a compelling lie... well who am I to know the difference, huh?). I will however be helpful to be able to contrast answers that are from people born to completely seperate generations so if you don't want to give an exact age, it be awfully nice if you could give me the decade you were born in.

"Flashbulb Memories Assignment Questionnaire"

1. What is the first major news event you can remember well?
2. What is the first movie you saw in the theater?
3. What was the coolest fashion when you were a teenager?
4. What recording artists or songs do you associate with the best times in your past?
5. Who was your first major celebrity hero?
6. What recollection do you have of wars during your lifetime?
7. Which technological developement during your lifetime do you feel has had the greatest impact on your life?
8. In which presedential election were you first old enough to vote?
9. What one or two major things (events, concepts, etc) would you say best define your generation?
10. Is there anything you'd like to add?

Thanks to any who are able and willing to help.

Re: survey for people 30 or older

Heh, I'm nearly 20.... not quite old enough hey. But let me know if you want me to try for any "compelling lies" .

As a future teacher, I shouldn't be giving you this advice, but I too have been in many predicaments like this when I have to hand in an assignment the next day and it's nowhere near finished. So I'd recommend going over the answers you already have and making up some stuff from that. But you didn't hear it from me, ok?

Re: survey for people 30 or older

Well, heh, you see that's the thing, I was busy all last week with a group project from another class. I basically just "forgot" about this other assignment (or rather, wrote it off as less important). So what I'm trying to say is that when I said "I only need 9 more" that means I only had 1 of the 10 I was required to survey. hee hee hee. *hangs head*

Ah well, looks like my paper is going to be largely BS...

Over 30? Here? Haha.... the oldest on staff aren't that old, and I somehow suspect there aren't 9 over 30 'round here.

Good luck with the fine art of BS.

Yeah I figured it couldn't hurt to try though.
