Romeo & Juliet
I am doing a scrap book project for my english class on Romeo and Juliet, in this project, we need to get twelve quotes having to do with Romeo, and twelve having to do with Juliet, with these we have to put them into some sort of scrapbook, (with pictures) and a few patterns on the pages and such like a real scrap book.
Here is what I need help with, I need pictures specifically, I look and I look, but i cant find the pictures i am looking for, Now and then i will also put a quote and ask what it means, Also, any quote suggestions and their meanings would be helpful, and, anyone who wants to scold me for leaving it to the last minute go right ahead, i deserve it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------I would also like to ask thats this thread be locked on the end of Thursday this week.

Re: Romeo & Juliet
Well well well.....I had to do somthing EXACTALLY like this. Except we studied it for a whole nine weeks and the project was our nine weeks grade. I am not going to put what i have just yet, as i have many quotes that will help you. I will EDIT this post when I finish writing all the junk. BE SURE TO CHECK BACK ON THIS POST every once in a while!
EDIT ----- *craks knuckles* Ok..As for help, this is all I have to offer. We had to also memorize any line from the play that we enjoied. but here, let me go get my notebook. *runs off and gets project* Ok...*flips through pages* OH! I found somthing you may like. We had to do this sheet on 50 quotes in the novel...Ill write some of them down here. I will try to find ones that are for R and J. (I wrote down who said them) She hath forsworn to love, and in that vow Do I live dead that live to tell it now. (R is speaking of Roseline) My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss... O, then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do. (R is talking to Juliet at the party) O, that i were a glove upon that hand, That I might touch that cheek! (R talking to J at the balcony scene) There is they gold, worse poison to men's souls. (R to the apothacary) Had I written, I would tear the word. (R to Balthazar) By heaven I will tear thee joint by joint And strew this hungry churchyard with they limbs. (R to Balthazar) By heaven, I love thee better than myself; For I come hither armed against myself. (R to Paris) --I will post some more later. Keep checking. I hope this helps, as i know what it is like to procrastinate. Oh and everythig is Copyright of Shakesspeare of course!! |

Re: Romeo & Juliet
You mentioned having problems trying to find pictures, so I would suggest Googeling "Romeo and Juliet" in the images section. There are also two movies out. One is pretty much just a straight version of the play, and another is a more "modern" version. You might be able to use pics from "West Side Story" too. You would probably get points for creativity if you did that. Ask your teacher about those movies, and if there is a good sight to get screens of them.
